Probably not. And it's not something I'd get too upset about. However, you may be able to figure it out by viewing the source code on their site.![]()
I went through the process, got a code via text, from bluecheck.
I'm sorry this thread is so upsetting to you. I have in no way suggested that anyone is breaking the law. At the top of my list I have put an explanation of what "No change" means. Maybe you missed it. This is what it says:
No change means the vendor may be using Veratad which is invisible to the buyer unless they cannot find a match, then you will be asked for additional ID OR the vendor isn’t in compliance (yet).
If there is a better way of wording this I'd like to hear it but I don't intend to delete the list. The list is helpful to the members and could be helpful to the vendors if they haven't got an AV in place yet or don't know which AV process to use. Any vendors that are reading this or hearing about it may let us know before we order by emailing or putting something on their home page say what the AV procedure is, like somebody here suggested.
I'd like to add that if anyone knows of a vendor's AV but are reluctant to post it here, you are welcome to PM me the info and I will add it to the list. Your name will be confidential. Please be sure your info is correct.
I'll add if I may, and in an unapologetic way..that it is naive to think that some vape vendors
don't break the law. In fact I've found the opposite, many vendors are like the headshops of old and likely to be underhanded. That's why I always use a virtual credit card when doing business from vendors who can't accept paypal.
Moreover, as I've stated somewhere (?) The entire age verification requirement is silly.
Credit cards are considered a valid 2nd form of identification by some government agencies.
A simple credit check will give one all the information required, as long as the card holder knows his or her password.
BTW, @tmcase, this thread is a great service to the vaping community I'm a part of
(there seem to be othe vaping communities now)
I don't recall crossing paths with you before, it's a pleasure.
Ride on, Vape on!

You could always buy 2nd hand or try Ebay...Hold on. I want a Reos mod from Reo but I live in the uk.
Will I have to jump through these ridiculous hoops with them?
I'm in the uk. So no prob here I don't think. Haven't ordered anything but
Can you just buy gear on eBay if you wanted to?
I doubt it. (unless UK requires it)Hold on. I want a Reos mod from Reo but I live in the uk.
Will I have to jump through these ridiculous hoops with them?

First, thanks tmcase very much for this thread. I have a couple for the list- vapemoar and Alice in Vapeland are Blue Check. To those worried that this is a blacklist or will put Mom-n-Pops out of business, those places were going to lose my business anyway. If I'm trying to place an order and I'm asked for my SSN I'll order from another US site or, failing that, China (no age questions on my last, post 8-8 Fasttech order). Doing in-house age verification might be more than a small site wants to deal with, but adding an option for USPS adult signature required shipping shouldn't be much of a problem. I'd have no problem with an added charge. Maybe some sites that have, say, free shipping over $50 could have an upgrade for free signature required shipping over $100. Showing an ID at the Post Office for nicotine seems fair enough to me- same inconvenience as buying alcohol or cigs.
I'll get right on that
Actually, isn't there a tool in FF that may do that?
I'll put something together and PM you the instructions.![]()
