Koolkiz is right. I've already been verified with Veratad and I went to Eciggity to place an order to check them out and they DID ask me for my DOB and last 4 of SSN. MVS is using Veratad and they didn't ask for anything so something isn't right with Eciggity. I'm not a happy camper either. I backed out on my order.
I'll have to add this to the list.
Here's my theory with Eciggity. They don't know that they don't have to provided DOB or last 4 of SSN to Veratad so they ask for it. All Veratad needs is your name and address and maybe CC# which you provide. They can find your DOB from public records with what you provide at checkout. That was all that I provided to MVS.
ecig-city is not on your list or I missed them, started using them about a month ago, so don't know already being a customer made a difference.
I placed an order today at Verde Valley Vapes and it went through without my doing anything extra. My first time ordering from them also.
I talked to CS at eciggity and this guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about and understood the situation. I told him about my experience with MVS (no personal questions) and he was baffled and said he would pass the info onto the owner. He also said that they were looking into another AV service so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Yep, I read eciggity. I've changed the list but the info on eciggity is still correct. Sorry about that.

@Sugar_and_Spice (I think) explained what this is but I can't find it I think maybe their own coding and not a service?In response to an inquiry of a new.2.me vendor as to which system they use ( bluecheck- Veritad), they replied "We use an EVS system
Meaning they don't want to name them now??
I think the FDA is going to have lots of fun sorting all this out.
I still don't understand why all vendors just don't ship with adult signature required. No third parties involved and no need for threads like this. It would seem the simplest and cheapest way to verify age. Am I missing something? I'm sure some will let me know.

depending of course, personally I would not mind paying the extra but not on something like a pack of coils

Yup. It only looks at the code for the page it's on. (The whole page, not just the currently visible screen.)
The list has Halo asking for SSN. I have ordered from Halo twice post 8/8 and they did NOT ask for anything. There was a notice the first time that AV was in progress. When it finished there was a note that I would not need to be verified again.
Quick and efficient. I have ordered from them many times and have an account in place. Someone else may have been asked for SSN--but that was not my experience. Just want to make sure the information on the list is correct.

Thank you for that info. It may be best to remove SSN from Halo since the person that had this happen to may not have had a match during the verification and was ask for additional ID. A lot of this info may change in the near future so it's best to keep an eye on it and post any experiences that may be different from what is on the list.
I have been buying liter size 100 mg/ml nic base from them for years. That is why they must verify for the FDA. Veratad If I remember.
