Looks like I may have gotten the last 25 footer, but here's 100 feet for 4 bucks from the same guy I got mine from.
Does anyone know what wick the Bulli A2 comes with? I LOVE that wick.
EDIT: If Silica wick were anything to worry about, we would know by now. I'm also curious about this Nextel stuff I keep hearing about...

Still that's a good deal I can't pass up. I just watched a review and they were talking about different ohm adjustments. How does one (me) go about changing the resistance? It sounds a bit complicated.

setup your Chalice with fiber wick at first so you enjoy it right away (maybe it will come with a premade wick coiled?) and for the next step is the flavor bump ss mesh will give you and just watch tutorials about oxidase the mesh and it will help if you have.get a multimeter to check if the mesh have any conductivity before using it.At first everything looks like a challenge but trust me with these women have the upper hand

I just watched a review and they were talking about different ohm adjustments. How does one (me) go about changing the resistance? It sounds a bit complicated.
The length of the wire determines the final resistance. From everything I've read, with this nichrome you can make a 1.8ohm atty with 4 coils. More coils = more wire = higher resistance (I think).

Is that the same stuff that is on the Bulli website? Cool to have a US seller for it. I am still experimenting with wicks, but so far I am liking that stuff a lot. Fold it twice so it kinda makes a bow on each end, and it's great. Using it right now in my Mark-T Infinity.

I don't know if it's the same stuff or not. But it is fiberglass which is what the Bulli comes with.
Another dumb question. Is cotton braided wick the same as cotton braided candle wick?
Some are described with square braided cotton wick. I'm confused. Do I want square?

So I've been researching and I'm super confused. Dave, you started to explain how to customize ohms but I'm still stumped.
I'm worried I'm going to do something wrong and use too high of a voltage.

Thinner wire and longer wire has more resistance. For instance I like 34ga wire, which is thinner than 32ga, so I can make higher ohm coils easier. Once you choose the size of the wire, you can change the ohms by adjusting how many times you wrap the wire around the wick. 4 wraps might give you 2ohms, and 6 ohms might give you 2.5ohms, as an example.

At this point, you now know as much as I do about the coils - longer wire means more coils which means higher ohms. If a 1.8ohm atty has 4 coils, then 6 coils would probably be 2.5ish, 8 coils would be 3.6ish, etc etc. If you end up making a coil with too low a resistance for your battery, you'll just 'pop' the coil (the wire will break) and have to make a new one. If your coil has too high a resistance for your battery, you'll get weak vapor. Like all things DIY, some experimentation is required to find your sweet spot.
As for the wick, I don't know if the type of braid makes any difference. What's important is that the wick is 100% cotton with no wires or any kind of treatment. I'm told that cotton wicks are crazy absorbent and won't burn once they're wet. Cotton's cheap and easy enough to find so I figured I'd start there. If I don't like the way it works, I'll try ss mesh. Silica will be the last resort if nothing else does it for me.

Im going to tell you the simple way, i dont know about the technical and i dont fcking care
you just buy kanthal 32g or nichrome .20 and make 4 wraps and it will give you a resistance from 1.5 to 1.7ohm; that means if you get wire more chunky than does you will need less wraps to achieve that same resistance and of course if you get a thinner wire you will need more wraps to get that resistance.Concerning wicks well lol you made the mistake to read the thread though just keep reading it because it will keep hunting you
I heard over on reddit that 32g doesn't last very long and that 34g was better but there's supposed to be a 33g out there that's all the rage right now.
