I don't buy the argument that having decent flavoring in vape juice means we're marketing to kids.
But these look like they cross the line, to me. Yes, I'm sure that some adults will like them, too, but overall, they look like a kids toy. At the very least, these will give a lot of ammunition to the anti-vape crowd, and that's bad news for everyone who vapes.
These are being sold by a vape shop in a Dallas suburb, and they are posting about them online.
It truly doesn't matter if it gives ammunition to the anti-vape crowd, because in reality that we share, it is NOT ABOUT THE KIDS.
To think that it is, destroys your statement of "having decent flavoring in vape juice does not mean they are marketed to kids."
As long as there are umpteen (million) flavors, that ammunition will exist. Concede on these items as 'looking like toys,' and it would be easy, IMO, to roll you over on flavors at some point. Some adults may enjoy a peach cobbler vape. But not all adults would and if it appeals to any kid, then ammunition exists.
In reality, kids existing means the ammunition will always exist. Or really, kids being discriminated against based on a law made by adults, is how that ammunition will exist. Forever. You who are in the majority that would restrict / ban sales to kids, have made your bed and need to sleep in it every time these ludicrous points of "toys" and "kiddie appeal" are put forth. I will argue vehemently against such incredibly poor logic almost every chance I get. And have fun noting that if you think something that appeals to both adults and kids, like these devices do, gives ammunition to opposition, then truly you only barely understand what the argument is actually about. And truly, you will be easy to roll over on the flavor issue.
