That is entirely your choice, however, i need to remind you that the Baby J could be out in 1 month, or it could take 4 months. We dont know yet.

Thanks for the heads up. Not to derail the thread, but one quick question on the eGo. What happens if both my batteries go out and will mo longer charge?do I have to buy a whole new starter pack? I didn't see any place to buy just the battery.

If that happens you will either have your warranty to replace them, or you will have to buy a new set.

Each battery is designed to minimum be able to be charged 200 times. And from the latest reviews ive seen, one charge is the equivalent of around 8-10 hours of pretty intense smoking - this in effect should/could mean that you will use one battery for 200 days, and the other battery for another 200 days = 400 days before they die.

Consider the price, and i dont think thats such a bad deal for 400 days of nonstop smoking? ;)

Our reason for doing our own battery is that we can pack more mAH and more power into it in a safe and reliable way, than if we had to use standard batteries: And ofcourse, to keep the design as we wanted it.

My 2 Egos have come. One for my Jason and I. On the charger now.
Typos in the one instruction fold out we got. We did not get a second one (oh well).

Most notable typo: Header named ASEMBY (I am assuming from the assembly instructions that this is assembly. ;)

The pouch is very cool looking. Semi see thru I assume so it breathes.
I think that these are the same chargers as the Joye 510 / Dura C. I know the plug adapter is. Can anyone confirm?

My Janty USB for my Joye 510 does not have a sticker as the Ego one does so I can not confirm.

This looks very slick. I can hardly wait to try it.

Raechel, i did not wait for the charge. the Battery was nearly full on delivery. i started vaping on th e1st and after 1/2 hour the one on the charger was full.
ok, i think the light went green already now, right ?

i would suggest not to use the eGo charger on the 510/Dura batteries, they will take harm with the strong eGo charger, at least they degrade in performance overtime. the eGo charger is for eGo batteries only.

even if it looks the same.. right.

these Li-Ion cells take harm if they are charged withh a higher current than their stated capacity. a dura/510 has 180mah max, a megabatterie 280mAh.

the eGo goes fine with 600mAh at the 420mAh charger, a Dura batterie will loose over time or gets damaged with it.

because of that manufacturers deliver chargers with a current that serves the kits batteries best as they can.

Ok one charged and vaping the other battery on the charger. Took about the same amount of puffs to get the atomizer lubricated as the 510. Now I am vaping an RY4 that came with it. I love it. With or without shield screwed on over atomizer. This is a great PV :) Woohooo!

But I do agree it hits much easier with shield off. But try it with it only screwed down 4-5 turns and the draw is easy too.

TW said they will provide an adapter to charge the eGo / Tornado on usual 510 and multislot chargers, so i took one 510->901 and one 901->510 adapter from heavens gift, screwed them together on my eGo Batterie and screwed the whole thingy into my 10-slot 510 charger.

guess what ? no eruption, no fire it startet to charge. i bet it will take at least 6h this way, i will stop the time tomorrow :D

BTW, this 10 slot charger looks almost exactly like the one ludo teased us with a few months ago.

Hey guys,

First off im glad you guys like the eGo - really! ;)

I just got mine today also, and as you might have guessed i love it to pieces ;)

However, i know that if you screw off the atomizer cover that it draws a bit more easy, but in my experience ( and this is also part of why its there ) the whole taste is much richer if you leave it on, and just suck a little less hard than you normally do. It will develop the same amount of vapor, but that vapor seems to heat up properly - and in my tastebuds it becomes much nicer and much more "analog" like, than if you take the atomizer cover off.

But each to their own i guess! I just think alot of us are used to heavy-dragging on these things, and forget that sometimes its good to just vape on it, as if you were smoking an analog, - steady, deep drags - not those mega draws that we do on our e-cigs - try it and let me know ;)

/Mik

mik, are you sure with your quote ? :D

btw, i have succesfully charged a 901,kr808 and an eGo with those tiny little adapters:
main.php

sorry, its a bit blurry. still have to stop the time für an eGo to charge. but it really needs at least 6h, that shows that the eGo really is a 600mAh battery

Oops the quote is infact a bit off.. sorry =D
