Did I get a bad charger? I got my ego friday and charged the batteries and battery 1 lasted 4 1/2 hours battery 2 lasted 5 hours. They have been charged 5 times now and still at 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours. It takes 2 hours and 15 to 20 minutes to charge the batteries. I vape 6 or 7 510 carts a day and they hold 12 to 13 drops. I am a heavy vaper but expected a little more time out of the batteries.

I do get a drop off before the light flashes, but its only a few drags before. The light flashes forever, I'm pretty sure I counted 731 blinks :pit seems like it would be tough to miss.

Unrelated, but curious, I preordered, and got upgraded shipping, but no box or incense, what did other eGoers get? Not a concern at all which is why I didn't bug customer svc, like I said, just curious.

As far as vapor drop off I think it drops off 2 hours after useing and like 1/2 vapor for the next 2 1/2 hours. The light on the battery flashes 5 times on mine
I did not get anything as a gift. It came with the pouch thats all. I did not expect any gifts. I think they gave them when people ordered them b4 they got them.

That doesn't sound normal to me. I vape all day long, heavily, and my battery lasts all day long.

It's been my experience that "light vaporer" vs "vape heavily" is kinda nebulous. Tell me how many ml of liquid you go through a day... then we're getting somewhere.

Example.. people talk about 280mAh Mega batteries lasting 4+ hours. If I get 1.5 hours out of them I'm pretty happy. When I get my eGo/Tornado.. I'll be happy if I get 3+ hours.

I go through about 30ml of fluid every week, maybe a little less.

That would put you at about 4+ ml a day. I'm in the same range. Soooo.... I'm expecting maybe 4-5 hours from the eGo/Tornado if the batteries really come in at 650mAh.

I get around 18 hours a battery. I don't see why you won't get the same amount of time if you vape the same amount if liquid. Whatever Janty did, the mah numbers don't seem to match up with the actual performance. For a heavy vaper, this thing is just perfect. My 510 parts and accessories will be given away, or thrown in the trash. After the eGo, I need nothing else.

...I dont have a "problem" so to speak with standard batteries, but they have to serve a purpose. The Jantystick for instance - great device, and partly because it uses cheap batteries that can be replaced. However - those batteries are also known to die randomly - and some are better than others. If you imagine we build a V4 or V5 of the JS, and we put a proprietary battery in there with 1000 mAH, which will last you for over 10 hours - and you are able to take that battery out and swap with another of "our" batteries AND you at the same time have the option of USB charging it inside, then again - wheres the problem?...

Well obviously the problem is... I can't buy it today!

Seriously, this describes the perfect vaping device to me.

  • 5 volts
  • Replacable batteries (don't care if they're proprietry to Janty)
  • USB for vaping while recharging

High mAH is just a bonus at that point!
