No one wants the hassle of dripping but at the end of the day the eGo outperforms in not only battery life, but flavor, throat hit, style and functionality. Dripping is much better at the moment then dying from analogs. I just recently had a friend switch and had him go eGo, I lent him my 510 while he waits for it and he is already off of analogs and chew.

I just ordered a few of the JS V2 pouches for backups. Now that the V2 has been replaced with the V3 do you plan on continuing to carry these?

Just wondering if I should get more before they disappear.

I'd like to get an Ego but .....since it basically uses a 510 atty and cart, why would it work any better than other 510's? Not talking about the battery here. What I mean is that unless you drip, aren't the carts useless? I'm looking for a friend who doesn't want to fiddle with cart mods. Also, does a 510 to 808 adapter work on this? If so, will the sleeve fit over it?

The 510 to 808 adapter works very well on the EGO. I am using it right now. However, the cover will not fit on this setup. Someone said that if you remove the sticker from the cartomizer that it will fit. I am not that ambitious yet.
OK, did it. The cover will fit if you remove the sticker.

If you search vendors, there are a couple places that offer stainless blank cartomizers - no paper on the carts. These work great with the eGo and a small kr808 adapter! I think the eGo is the best device out there and now I can't wait for the Baby J. 4.5v would be perfect for dripping and the cartomizers! I had researched mods for quite some time. To be honest, after reading so much about batteries and chargers on the flashlight forums, I don't want to mess with them. I am thrilled with the battery life on the eGo - 8 to 10 hours- and the charger is extremely quick - about 1 1/2 - maybe 2 hours tops. With long lasting, great performance proprietary batteries and a great rapid charger, who needs mods. Two of these last all day and into the evening. (I actually have 2 sets so I can rotate batteries). What else could you possibly need? I vape very heavily. I also have a Bartleby which the eGo is comparable to, but the eGo's batteries kick ....!

I have almost decided to make my first ecig a Janty stick. I didnt know there were so many models. Can anyone suggest the best/least expensive supplier with good customer service?

I'm happy to see the eGo being discussed here on the forum. I just started vaping a week ago (KR808) and really enjoy it. I've been re-filling the "disposable" attys and have had pretty good success (burnt one out a couple of days ago so I've been more careful)

Wanting to get something that has batteries that will last longer and that's designed to drip. I've read up on the Janty eGo and it sounds like such a wonderful product. It comes with 5 prefilled carts - would I be able to refill these? Should I buy anything to go with it?

If you respond to this post please remember that I'm new to vaping and the KR808 is the only ecig I've smoked. I'm just wanting to make an informed purchase. I'd also like to get whatever else I would need (extra blank carts or whatever you recommend) if I end up buying the eGo

Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated

I ordered an extra 510 atomizer and a box of 510 blank cartridges. It wasn't available then, but I'd get an extra atomizer cover from Janty so you could use both eGo's at the same time, and an extra battery to swap out as you need to charge the others. And of course you just need juice. I also started with kr808 and continue to use and prefer cartomizers (that's the one piece atomizer/cart that screws onto a kr808 battery). I bought several adapters for a 510 to kr808 so I can use cartomizers on everything I have. I buy blank cartomizers, juice from my favorite vendors, and fill and refill the cartomizers over and over by using a syringe I bought from a walmart pharmacy. I bought a 20 gauge 1 1/2 inch 3 ml syringe. It works great and is quick and easy. After about 20 refills, I boil the cartomizers (minus the plastic caps and o-rings) and then use an air compressor to blow them out) and then start over with them for more refills (yes, they can last that long with good care!).

The eGo works great with the adapter and the cartomizers (as does the Bartleby box mod). Now I still get to use my cartomizers as my preferred atty, but I also don't have to worry about battery life or getting stuck if I'm out of the house - the eGo has outstanding battery life! I also do drip directly on the 510 with a blank cartridge when I'm home. This is relaxing and lets me swap flavors fairly easily. I also notice that I experience the flavors differently whether using direct dripping compared to the cartomizers. I have some juices that I prefer for the 510.

Anyway, welcome the the vaping experience and the vaping community.

If you can wait until 2/12, ordering them from Janty directly is your best bet in the US. Their customer service is very good. There are a couple of US stores stocking stick sets, but I don't have any experience with their service. Price is, as far as I can tell, pretty much a wash. You might get a few bucks off here or there, but in the end, it's when you'll get your gear and then how the service will be.

No, I was just going by the Janty website, that says they'll have stock on or about the 12th (apparently units are in transit or something). You don't have much other choice, other than the US places stocking the Joye Stick, as CNY has now shut down all Chinese sources for the next week or so.
