I kinda started this. I guess I let my ego get the best of me *Laughs* In any sense, Back on topic! :).......

Actually you were on topic RIA. I think one of the Ego's best features is the cone and it's ability to contain most of the liquid that all cart mods leak from time to time. I had stopped using my ZFM carts because of the mess they made. Now I can get tons of vapor and flavor again without the hassle of dripping every 4 or 5 puffs.

To Mik - This is a great product. Just wish I could find another cone or 2. And oh yea....hurry up with that Tesla thingy.

...or the end of March. :D Never underestimate the incentive of money to be made. After all, that's what's keeping Carlos and friends up all night madly crafting JBs, being nearly made victims of their own success (and may yet be).

Janty, at least, has a for-real factory and mass production capacity.

Someone mentioned (I think Scott) that the Janty 510 atomizers were somehow better than Joye's. Could someone elaborate on this?

The TAWA atomizer in my eGo died a few days ago (after two weeks of heavy usage) and couldn't be revived by normal cleaning. Nasty burned/metallic taste, no throat hit, very little vapor. I continued to use it for three days or so, due to not having anything else, but bought two Joye atty's that just arrived today and are currently being broken in. I would've bought from Janty, but there's nothing in stock.

Anyway, the other atomizers seem to work just fine, howbeit they're still breaking in. Just wondering, what's the difference, and more importantly, when can I buy them?

Where is the Janty customer service in Europe ??
I ordered a eGo set + some juice on the 28th of january. Waited for more than 3 weeks before opening a ticket. Got a strange reaction about a returned sending (though I got plenty of stuff delivered from other e-cig companies on this adress ).
Reactions on my open ticket in dutch, then french ( luckily I'm from the tiny country of Belgium, so we have to know a bunch of languages if we want come along in the "big" world). They said they will look into it. Then silence .... No reactions from nobody. Not on my open tickets, not on my multiple emails...
My order is marked with "refunded", but I don't see any refund on my Paypal account.
I had great expectations about the eGo and the Janty compagnie.
But I'm afraid I have to advise customers to avoid Janty Europe at all cost, since you just pay for something and just never see your money back....

Maybe Janty USA can be of some help here ?

Hey Loma.

Janty Europe has had a rough patch due to some personal issues of the shop owner. This is why we have transferred it all to Janty France, and are now setting all these things up - unfortunately this also means that there are some purchases/orders, that are currently hanging in the system, such as yours im guessing.

Quick question if anyone else is having or heard of this issue. I had bought a 2nd USB fast charger from Janty. Now I am noticing that on this charger which is plugged into a powered USB hub, that it can take up to four hours to charge an eGo battery. My other charger which is plugged into the wall with the adapter does not have this issue, any thoughts?

This is just a guess, but it sounds like your USB port is either not high enough powered to deliver what it should deliver or that you are overloading it by having too many items on there.

I doubt its the charger, but to check , try to swap those two chargers around and see if the other one also behaves like that when attached to the computer : if so, its the computer. If not, its the charger.

It COULD also be a bad connection in the charger i guess.

Either way, we wil get it resolved! Have no fear, Janty is here!

I hesitated somewhat when originally considering this post but hopefully most here will agree that public forums are for the exchange of experiences both good and bad and it is in this spirit I present to you my recent travails with Janty USA...

When I originally ordered my Ego kit a few weeks ago, it arrived without an atomizer. I have since seen no other reports of such an occurrence, so let us mark this down to my own personal bad luck or should I say bad karma :p Whatever the cause, I opened a case and response was a little slow but fully supportive and an atomizer was sent out a short time later.

A week or so later, I placed a new order for liquid and carts. Order arrived only to discover the wrong flavor carts were shipped. Order was for 50 carts so it seemed worthwhile to open a case and explore possible solutions. Response was noticeably slower this time but once again very supportive. A mutually acceptable solution was subsequently achieved by agreement to cross-ship return of incorrect carts by me and correct carts by Janty USA.

The Janty USA helpdesk is down at the moment so I have been communicating with them via direct email. And so it was by direct email I received word yesterday morning that Janty had once again sent the wrong carts - this time they sent classic instead of dura/ego. Kudos to Janty USA for notifying me of this mistake before the order had even arrived but I still cannot help but be a little concerned about what at this point can only be described a series of ongoing issues. And, although I was told to expect a status update yesterday, to date I have no further information on the resolution of this latest problem...

So, them's the facts and truth be told right now poor Theopold is not a very happy camper in terms of doing business with Janty USA! However, in closing please allow me to clearly state that most people on this forum have nothing but praise for their orders with Janty USA and Janty customer service so bear this in mind when reading of my own recent experiences. Additionally, please also allow me to say that while response time appears to be slowing and in my case mistakes are mounting, the individuals I am dealing with at Janty USA give every indication of being honest, supportive and sincere in their past and present attempts to solve these various problems.

Well....I'm new. I've only used 801's by myvaporstore and the Ego. Have to say the Ego is great. Customer service at Janty has been reasonable. What I really don't like about Janty is the hype of new products. This includes cones, silver Ego's, the Tesler filter and now the Ego XL bat.

I'm a smoker, I'm a nicotine/smoking addict. The Ego was good enough of a replacement for me. Haven't picked up an analog in almost 2 weeks. This is HUGE for me. It's been since 11/6 since the Tesler was introduced. The reasonable consumer in me says 4 months, not a long time. But for the smoking addicted fool in me, it's an eternity. Does it piss me off, hell yeah. Will I buy a silver Ego set, a few Tesler carts, and a XL bat when it comes out? Hell yeah.
