Would you Like to see the eGo with color options

  • Yes, I would buy a colored ego over what is available right now.

  • No, I am satisfied with the current options.

My girlfriend got pulled over by the great and wise Utah Highway Patrol when seeing her use her eGo in the car, I guess he jumped right out of his cruiser and ran right up to the window and pointed at her eGo and asked if it was a new type of crack pipe ROFL!

She took it all apart and explained every piece and the e-juice... and then after 10 minutes of explaining it ended up giving the patrolman the JantyUSA website so he could get himself a eGo lol.

Just goes to show that tolerance and understanding come with education.
:D

LOL. Great story.

I cannot believe how bad the design is on that 901 adapter. I struggled enough to get the atty into the adapter, then it worked okay. When it comes to taking the atty out of the adapter it is nigh on impossible. I had to use a pair of thin-nosed pliers and raked the end of the adapter to bits. I was worried about damaging the atty. It is beyond awful and I won't be using it again. I'm better off using a cheap passthrough from China. My v3 is now just there as an emergency backup because although the 510 adapter fits fine, it's just not that good on the vaping. I'm thinking that was my first and last purchase from Janty. It has put me off totally.

Order Thursday Morning, And today I come home to a nice surprise!! Not only that but I plug in the batteries to fully charge them and after 20 minutes they are ready to go!

Packaging was very nice, I did not find any instruction book but that is not a big deal, the unit is easy to figure out even if you are new to PV's. I like the fact that i can charge this from the wall socket as well as from my USB hub.

To test things out I screw on my Pepsi Cola atty since is already broken into, BTW this unit is slick and the included pouch is going to be my new way of transporting my PV + one bottle of juice.

Unit is great, been using it for 20 minutes now and it feels good in the hand. Vapor production is very good and the cone kind of makes the draw a little stiffer which is just want it needed I found that the normal 510 batteries has too loose of a draw.

so far i have noticed that every draw I take from the device is just like the prior one, consistent vapor even after 30 minutes of chain vaping. I am very pleased so far!!

I will be putting this baby up to the test next week, as monday i will be leaving on a business trip to Queretaro Mexico. I will be gone all week and this will be my primary device along with 1 510 battery and my Joyce inline PT.

I will report back then on Battery life as well as my final thoughts

Again thank you Janty for the quick shipping and great Service.

IDK whats up with that. I've posted several pictures here in the past, but now it won't let me upload to my albums,so I posted it from another forum. Shows up on my computer, but not on the wife's. . . . There, fixed it.

Anyway, I can tell you that's not the case with the carts that came with mine. They look just like 510 carts, but they're the diameter of a 306 cart.:rolleyes:Maybe there's a 510 Mini E;) Guess I'll drop Janty a note.

I was more curious than anything else to what they fit. I've always liked the slimness of the 306,it just feels good in your hand even if the battery life sucks.

Thanks for letting me know about the pic problem F8.

Cheers,
NB.

That IS very weired.
I would open a ticket and point Ethan to this thread you made. The smaller cart looks to me, IMHO, defective ie; too small and at times this does/will happen.
You got bad carts and I have never seen this b4 untl now.
So, yes, indeed open a ticket and like I said b4, let Ethan know of your thread here and he will take care of you very promtly.
The cart is way too small and might have been over looked by the manufacturer.
Good luck and if any more problems arise, please ask us to give a little help or see Ethan.
Let us know how things go!! ;)

Well, the Janty Stick is a decive for 801s, which doesn't exactly invite using adapters, either. Which should have been obvious before you bought it. That hardly means Janty stuff isn't good.

Why should it be obvious? It doesn't mention on any of their sites that it's not suitable for adapters. How is it obvious? It was in my first batch of purchases e-cig-wise. I have no idea how you think it should have been obvious. Unless you've spent months here on ECF, which not all buyers have, if it's not on the website, it's not obvious.

And for you information, it actually works quite well with the 901, have you tried it? My beef is you cannot get the atty out of the adapter. I said it worked okay. Doesn't work so well with the 510.

I didn't say their stuff was no good. I said it put me off further purchases.

All a ban does is make people want something even more. Look a t prohibition and the war on drugs. Neither one accomplished anything. Where there is a will there is a way. I say stock up a little bit. For awhile things might be difficult but sooner or later the government and customs will go back to being lazy and packages will move along easier.

My second battery (out of three purchased since March 23) has died :(. I'm so disappointed because when they're working, they are fantastic.

The customer service is impressive, though.

I agree, when they work... they are awesome... When they work.

Count yourself lucky that you have not lost a atty to a defective battery yet.

I know that these batteries are having some big issues, I have no idea what the defective to functional ratio is, there is a possibility that they got a bad batch of electronics and that is what is causing the issues.

My main question that I wanted to know by starting this thread was, is there a safety issue? Has it been addressed? acknowledged? and is the issue being rectified?

I have been very frustrated that I have 2 kits in for warranty replacement, which is now on it's way back to me as of yesterday, and I am afraid that I will get them back and they are going to fry on me again.

During my wait for replacement I have been using my Kissbox Extended, and my original 901 that has been alive and kicking for the last 6 months, I replaced all of these devices with my eGo and became very reliant on it.

Naturally I became very upset when 4 batteries and 2 dura/eGo atty's went defective.

I just want to know if they have found and solved the issues with the batteries yet...

Are they safe to use now or should I put them in to a steel fireproof box to charge them, and wear a fire/chemical resistant glove to use them, and develop a quick eject for the atty's should they continue to fire after the button has been released.

I know nobody likes saying that there are issues with their products, but I would feel allot better with hearing "there is a issue, and we are working on it, or we found a solution, taking ownership of the situation rather then saying nothing and hoping to push a defective batch through, and replacing them under warranty until all of the defective units have either been replaced, or fall out of warranty.

I am not trying to sound like I am bashing Janty products, although I probably am, and I know that is petty... but I really want to know what is up with the eGo batteries, I want to know from Janty...

(Praying the replacements do not have issues) - I really Love the eGo!

100% isn't what I meant.) Just appears that the issues with the battery seems a problem. A rework for the button might be a nice thing, option to turn in older batteries with the button issue. Eighty dollars is a lot of money on something that breaks almost out of the box.

The sad thing for me is I got 2 kit's, a automatic battery, and 2 atty's...

That is well over $200.00 for something I did not get to use for very long.

I have one atty and one battery that has not had issues yet (Hanging out of my mouth as I type)

I know that if I do look at other mod's I will still continue to use eGo/Dura atty's and Kissbox atty's cause they are some of the best that I have found period.
