Alright, I'm in.
RM2 on the way and my first micro coil built on my A7 and this thing finally works. not great but hey it's an A7.
Enjoying all the posts here, and looking forward to stalking more of ya'll's builds:)

So after a short while, I'm all in, finally no more prebuilt atty's for me. Thanks Rob and all you great peeps for this thread!
Here's a head shot:)

So after my dabbling with a few variants on the dirtehmunkeydriver (still a great coil!) I got the urge to engineer some coils :) Still finding my sweet spot ohm-wise, but I think this one is about spot on....

28g Kanthal, 8 wraps on a 1/16th ID, meters to 1.1 on the VAMO, 1.5 on my DMM (which seems about right, looks like the .4ohms is the variance on that particular DMM)

Almost hardly any lag time, hits nice and smooth... (wanted a smoother vape for this particular juice- DIY Caramel Apple)

Lovin' these micros on the REO... sooooo goooood! Had to step back my nic in my juice cause they're so darned efficient!

Very nice, I'm with ya. I just built this today. 28g kanthal, 8 wraps. Metered at 1.1 on the evic..... So good!

Hrm... I need another REO and an RM2 so I can have a "SXD" style coil, and then have a "Dirtehmunkeydriver" coil in the other...don't think I am prepared for something as way out there as the "Dibby Crack" though...

Wonder if I can get away with ordering another REO....:)

...and so the sickness begins....

The crack coil is actually quite simple to wrap and really enhances certain flavors.

Don't worry... The sickness doesn't last long...

it turns into an addiction in quick succession.

yes, except now someone else has just invented it (?) and it's called the "M" wrap, I think?

And yes, JayLo, that is definitely a sure sign of the fever taking hold!! :)

Might I be able to snag your recipe for that little gem?

I didn't think Munkey's liked apples?

Basically, I do:

caramel candy (TFA) 10%
Green apple (TFA) 8%
Smooth TFA 1% (its a tobacco flavor, supposedly... to me I see it more as a flavor smoother... mellows the mix)

I've got an RY4 variant going as well:

Double RY4 (TFA) 10%
Green apple (TFA) 7%
Caramel Candy (TFA) 3%

Dunno how the RY4 variant is going to turn out, its still steeping, but it smelled amazing.

I've got some Caramel candy on order from flavor west as well, I'll try it in the caramel apple mix as well and see which one of the caramels is the better of the two....

I also like the green apple at 15% by itself, and use it as a mix in for a lot of flavors (does AMAZINGLY well with butterscotch!)

....and now, back to your regularly scheduled Micro Coil pr0n....
