Yep. Tighter draw with coil placed a bit away from the air hole = beast th.

OR

You can do a xobedriver w/ the air hole half blocked by the coil so air is going over and to the side.

better still, the original Xobedriver prototype, with the bottom of the coil toward the center of the atty, and the top almost touching the cap. That'll TH the hair off your cat!

My current micro coils constructed last night with the darkzero jig using the .055 music wire (its right between 17 & 18 ga).

30 ga a bunch of wraps prolly around 2ish ohms. I like it :

27 ga mucho wraps prolly around 1.2ish ohms. I like it.

The dual coil is vaping nice - lots of vapour with a nice clean taste.

Thought I would back it up with this ^^^ 25g nicrome - 10 wraps - 1/16th bore coil @ 0.47 ohms

I think this is my new go to coil. (the 28gA1-2x8dual)

It's early days but I would say vapor and flavour betters the 26niccrome single coil of similar ohms and heat up time seems quicker.

I just got my second RM2 today so I HAD to try dual coils (was so close to doing a triple coil setup but with the lack of experience rebuilding got scared of a short) So right now I'm sporting a 1.1 ohm micro coil and a 0.7 dual coil kanthal 26g.
