Thanks, I am happy to finally be a Reonaut! I've only had it a couple of hours and I already have the Reo sickness!
I will never use my tube mods again other than to check batteries, resistance, and to test new flavors for my diy.
I already want a milled down all copper vein grand with unmilled Rm2, and possibly a mini 2.1 in an undetermined color.

On a side note does anyone have any recommendations for a better battery charger? Mine only has .5A charging rate and I am sick of waiting 9+ hours for my 18650's to recharge(and I throw them on at 3.6-3.7v).
I was eying the i4 intellicharger, unless there is something better.

Edit: And that was post #100 woot woot! I am a lurker not a poster. It has taken me over a year to reach #100
Congratulations on reaching your 100th post. A big bear hug to you becoming an official Reonaut. Here's a shiny new badge for you to wear.

Heres my dual micro coil setup I have been running for a bit now on a modified IGO-W4.

Absolutly amazing performace with this thing on a milled REO.

.7 ohm, 28 guage kanthal, 1/16 inside diameter, 2mm silica with a couple strands removed.

Love it!

Here's my RM2 with my first twisted wire coil.

2 strands 30 guage twisted on a drill, 1/16 inside diameter, coming in at .8 ohms.

Wow this thing heats up fast, deffintely less forgiving then the dual setup when it comes to dry hits/close to dry hits. With the dual I can tell its getting close to needing a squonk long before it actually will give me a nasty hit, with this single sub ohm there is very little warning.

Am I the only one running silica in a micro sub ohm build?

For those with attention to detail: there is another juice feed hole drilled in the post at deck level allowing me the option of using the original feed hole as a wire hole. I opted to use it :)

I'm rocking the same coil with xc-132 ceramic wick and yes it goes to throat burning dry hit in a flash. Last night I put a slight ball of cotton touching the wick but not the coil on the positive side away from the hole, I hate burnt cotton so it was important to position it away from the coil. It seems to give me an extra warning hit that it's getting dry before going nasty.

Kev, that be a first run :). In the second run, he 86'd the brass and the threaded posts :)

the one i still have resembles Monkey's. i finally decided to try wrapping a coil for it.

but the flathead screws are a major pita for me. are these the screws you can only get from Bugs?

Yep. They're much better than the thread less ones for the second run. You can't use a driver or you'll break em.

See, I was about to ask. I thought about looking at drilling a lower hole on my divo, but I finally got schooled on blind squonking by ltrainer. Earlier tutorial had me closing the hole and drawing. His instructions cleared me right up, and now I'm not carrying a bunch of extra fluid from overdoing it.

I'm gonna try the sidesaddle build when my bottle runs out. I'll post the pics then.
