yes toss, most juice will permeate the plastic... don't forget when you choose a juice... don't use volatile based flavors that will deteriorate the plastic.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GUYS VAPE MICRO COILS AT OR BELOW 1 OHM?

Here's the deal:

Grand:
27ga Kanthal A1 around a 17 ga blunt tip. 14 wraps 1.26 ohms. Damn that's a warm vape. And I can hear an after sizzle when I let off the trigger. Cool.

VV Grand:
27ga Kanthal A1 around a 17 ga blunt tip. 11 wraps 1.10 ohms. I did it smaller so I can turn down the power on my VVG if its too hot. Even with the power all the way down its hot.

I think I like the thick wire and I definitely like the 17 ga needles (they're also 1/2" barrel - real twist friendly compared to the 1.5" barrels)

Thanks to all you kids who started teasing me with fatter wire. I like it allot. You punks rule.

But still, how does anyone enjoy the vape on a coil this small and tight at the 1 ohm (or below) mark? Whatcha trying to do, breathe fire like a dragon?

It's in the middle between micro and nano. This is a the new micro_X, baby. 27 ga around 17 ga. That is a STANDARD coil and I said so

Note - they were a little strong on the TH scale for my liking So I scanned back thru some words of wisdom from the camping dibmaster and pushed em down in the bowl a little and the balance is perfect.

Little adjustment made a big difference. Pdib's knowledge in these matters is beyond refute.

I've had no luck with BB and cotton wicks. It seems to filter out all the solids in the juice, altering the flavor and turning the cotton black.

I'm starting to have better luck with cotton, now that I can remember to squonk on time. Non-dark juices seem to work better as well -- same wick lasts me 3-4 days now.

I've had this experience with cotton yarn. It has happened with rolled cotton if I try to stuff too much into the coil bore. The trick is to put in a piece that is just smaller than the core and allow it to expand to fit.

Well after reading through all of this.
I made my first micro coil.
Rolled it on the tip of my juice needle.

All I had was 32 gauge kanthol and sylica.
Was a bit hard to get the sylica through that
tiny hole. I got it through about 3 strands.
I got around 7 wraps and Provari is reading 2ohm
Sweet!!!!

Few test rips seemed a bit dry. So I put a full
piece of sylica under the legs. (I am using an IGO-L)

Boom solved. Flavor is spot on. TH is great.
Now to get some larger gauge wire and some good cotton.

Has anyone tried this on a Kayfun 3.1?
Reason I ask is. I just got one. Love this thing.
It has changed my vaping experience.

I'm thinking now a micro coil would have
This thing going Ba-Nan-As!!!!
