The ratio of cotton wick to juice has a very fine like of perfection. Coil diameter aside, too little cotton wont feed enough juice obviously but more cotton will impede juice flavor. So fine tuning the size of the coil to fit the perfect wick will result in the best cotton to juice ratio in a fully saturated atomizer. i am nowhere near finding this spot and each time i rewick it turns out a tiny bit different than the last "identical" wick but it seems like right around .055 ID is close for my 10/90 diy juice as I couldnt hold enough juice in a smaller diameter wick. My testing was done at 1 ohm.
The aspect added for wire size and number of wraps adds another obstacle. i just pick wire size based on staying near 9-11 wraps for any chosen ohm. i wish i had the tact to experiment with wire. im always looking for EASY.

This is funny! Hypatia, my kids laugh at me all the time. I hardly spend any money on myself at all....seems like I'm usually picking up something for the grandkids or something...but when I get vape mail these days, it's usually wire or wicking materials to try out. They get a kick out of my obsession. Ha.
Well I finally rebuilt my rm2 last night. Took 6 tries before I had a success full coil. Every time 1.4 ohms. Squeeze the coil and adjust. Snap a leg off.
And it was just supposed to be a very basic coil. Nothing fancy. Plain jane. Guess my hands just didn't feel in the mood. But I finally won the battle so I'm back to rm 2's on all Reo's

Here is the easiest way yet to make a perfect 1.5mm micro coil using the "wire gizmo"by artistic wire.

Now anyone, regardless of skill level can make a micro coil so beautifully wrapped that you can post pictures of it with confidence cause it's not possible to wrap a tighter micro coil

i don't think you give yourself enough credit, if you think you're clumsy you should see me. Great video and I agree, a great jig and super easy to make coils. I've made about twenty of different ohms and am now ready for express change outs. Thanks again to Flavored and you for this great information,

Just hoping they got the small rods with the kit. And yea the big rods can go to the so called "micro/nano coilers" Same price as yours. $14.68 with shipping. Just hope it's got the small rods.
