Yea - I think the logo is counterfietting. Even if the original buyer knows it, a secondary buyer might not. There's a lot of questions which kayfun's are orig or not in the classies. The orig Russians and FUhatten's were done right. Own branding and some changes in design. A different evolutionary track. The Siegeli Zmax was considered a 'provari clone' when it first came out. Pbsurado did apx a 15 min rant even though it was very different in function (VV/VW, OLED, etc). Kinda funny now. A lot of what's said from mod makers make the customer wrong. Truth is most clone buyers would never have bought the orig. Lost sales is in their imagination. They couldn't keep up with demand anyway.

My issue with tanks is the genuines are costing a small fortune and there is no support or service. My parts were genuine from reliable vendors (none of which will take an atty back for anything other than DOA). Yet a half price clone vendor will. That's a big failure. It's not all about price. My first genuine ego kit ($80) died 24 hours after the store would accept return for a replacement (14 days). I could have had better protection by buying a clone.

I've seen MHM stand behind their tips, repairing breakge. No questions. Not all dt makers do that even using the same acrylic. That means a lot to me.

BTW; Logos can be trademerked but style can't be like a purse style can't be patented, nor can the style of a mod. A metal tube is not innovative enough. That's why Nike, Gucci, LV, etc put their logo all over everything. Anyone can copy a "style" and it's 100% legal. But branding is different. It's reputation. joyetech will not allow their products to be sold with any others (like a rba) or it's consicered "diluting their brand".

I'm chatty tonight. I think I'm avoiding the laundry. Ugh.

Hey. Real quick Choochy

My wife has the vapor shark. And she loves it She has provari to. I'm just saying. I have played around with the shark a good bit. And for what it is. It's pretty nifty. And can be used for stealth vaping quite easily.

I buy real MhM tips. Mmhmm.

Mornin Mountaineers! The sun is shinin and the squirrels are a chatterin', lol.

How do I verify if the MhM tips Ive been buying are authentic or clone copies??? Now you all have me worried. =/

Okay, and just throwing this out there, but i feel like a dang Jedi wielding a lightsaber with a provari in 18650 mode with a full size Kayfun and tall MhM tip topping it off. Maybe JJ Abrams can use one more cast member for the movie?

The sun is shinin' - it's 82F at 9:11am, and expected to get up to 106F today - a bit TOO much sunshine.

The squirrels are a chatterin' here too. Maybe they won't attack me today. Never feed the squirrels. The large possum family has left their trace. You'd think we had a pack of wild dogs running around with the size of all the poop they're leaving all over the yard. Oh, and the cute bunny rabbit has eaten all my wife's sunflowers. Joy.

Surely you're joking, but my humor detector is relying on the body generator to power it up, and just getting out of bed and not having breakfast yet, well... I hope you're getting the tips directly from Kayte & Doug - best way to guarantee you're getting the real deal. I've purchased my Nemesis mods directly from Atmomixani in Greece. Peace of mind really - all my authentics are known to be authentic that way.

I know how you feel! I sometimes pick out a shorter tip, just to make it seem not so much like a weapon, but in 18650 mode, it gets attention. I've been considering going back to 18490 mode, but I like where all my fingers end up in 18650 mode, with my thumb in the perfect position to fire the button. But, that's just me...

UPDATE: In the 12 minutes it took me to post this, the temperature has now risen to 83.4F, so at this rate, it should reach 106F shortly after noon. Anyone want to complain about the snow? LOL

This is a fly-by post. :D
Love the pics with the horsey ears.
Hope the grandbaby with pneumonia is well on the mend!
Sirius... I was right. You are older than me, so little sister it is. But you know I can pin your ears to the wall so YAY for little sisters.

On the topic of clones and MhM tips... I occasionally do a search for Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips just to see what comes up. Imagine my surprise when a China website came up that was using our name to sell a drip tip.:ohmy: I didn't know whether to be mad or flattered. Mostly mad. It was a poorly made tip. :glare:

We are seeing the light at the end of the special order tunnel! This week I'm going to have tips to show you!!! Doug has a dozen in the works for me to play with and I can hardly wait. :D

Today is our day off, so I'm heading out to lay the last of the new walkway through Mordor. It's a beautiful day! Hope you all have a great one.

Why,(bold) does this NOT surprise me? Kayte that's just so wrong on so many levels that it isn't even funny. Well I should have known really, the more people get to know the K&D product and the word gets out, the Lucky Bag Shop gets wind of it and Bam-a-Lam...cheap rip-offs hit the interwebbie.
One sure fire way to know for the newcomers that YOU HAVE AN AUTHENTIC MOLEHILL MOUNTAIN DRIP TIP IF;

IT WAS BOUGHT ON THE WEBSITE OR FROM A KAYTE PM

IT COMES FROM THE MOLEHILL FACTORY IN A MINILA ENVELOPE WITH BLACK SHARPIE HANDWRITTEN ADDRESS
(not the neatest but give Ol Dustmaker Doug a break on that..his craftsmanship well makes up for it!) :D

THE TIP OR TIPS COME IN A GOLD OR SILVER BOX FULL OF COTTON BALLS!

THAT TIP LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM OF FINE ART!

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday! Kayte, don't overwork ya self Little Sister..you got tippies to dids. :D

Wow, well my comment about the MhM clones was a joke to be taken with a grain of salt. I had no idea there actually WAS some chinashop coat tailing. That's just disgraceful. I can't possibly fathom ANYONE actually beliving that junk would be authentic, but still just being out there makes me shake my head a little.

Oh and Kayte, we are going to need pics of this Mordor trail when completed. I can only hope you made the gate tall enough to keep the hobbits out?

If you buy one just rip up your Mountaineer Card..I'm sure FastTech sells Lucky Bag Shop Cards for $1 ea. LMBO

Guilty of buying one of these, with pressure from the wife. It's original - can't say that much around that place...

[EDIT: Took some "Sirius" advice and removed the image. Latter discussion is visual enough.]

I doubt anyone here has a large tip collection that's 100% MM. Mine's at least 90% MM (probably more) though, and I'm looking into getting my 2nd Lucky Bag Shop 3-tier acrylic drip tip stand!

Yeah Dale has me convinced to do the same..not near as tacky as I thought for plastic stands. Not like the ones on eBay anyway. I just wished they were pyrex glass.
I have a few SS tips that collect dust..lol
