Angel - I didn't realize you lived so close! Dang Tapatalk, you can't see where people are from. That makes three of us from MS on this mountain!

I've worked administration in several industries but until about 20 years ago, had never set foot in a law firm. It is no doubt, one of the most stressful office environments out there. Paralegals have it different than I do but it's still stress and some really LARGE personalities in the mix. My DIL is a paralegal in our firm and works complex litigation so I hear her woes. Most people don't know about the extreme dynamics and we have a large office (30 people) so that's a lot of personalities.

The hubby had a fire built and glass of wine poured when I got home to go with the xanax. Then he went to pick up some soup and even gave the dogs baths today. He's a keeper.

Yep, we got some good peeps representing our state here on the mountain!....I didn't start out in a law office either...I actually worked in upper management and mostly in non profit for many years, then came Katrina and my agency I worked for was destroyed...several different jobs followed, including a stint in a steel pipe plant (yes I wore a hard hat and steel toe boots, although I did it with style....hard hat was hot pink and boots were a reddish pink! :D) until I got this job. It is very stressful many days, and some days all I want to do is come home and have a big stiff drink! But in all, I really do like my job, and I love the 4 day workweek! :D

Sounds like you have a great hubby there...definitely a keeper! :thumb:

I do not iron. If it needs to be ironed or dry cleaned, I dont buy it. I'm a super casual dresser. :)

The clean clothes is chucked on a dresser til I feel like dealing with it. Or I ask hubby and we have a folding party - and deal with it together. I do marathon laundry sessions on the weekends only.

I am not going to entertain the evil notion of no more chocolate. Whats everyones fave chocolate vape? I'm always looking for a new fave flavor. Still working through trying out the new flavors. Trying Suicide Bunny's Mother's Milk tonight. Is good.

Awful craptastic day today. Very bummed I have to go back tomorrow. I do truly love my work, but some days leaving me wishing for a very large room filed with filing cabinets and just me and a mountain of papers to file.

Now that almost everything is digital, this fall-back dream job no longer exists. :(

OK. Back to vaping.

Oh and to end on a happy note. When the Christmas showdown happens, can y'all leave me one of those Crushed reds? I like the longer one that I see is still there in the shop. Can't buy it til next week though. I could use a pretty thing like that. :)
Just say the word and I'll put the Crushed Red in the reserve section for you to get whenever you can. ;)

Boy, took awhile to catch up tonight! I was ready to show you a couple of tips a little while ago, but my super hero granddaughter's birthday is today. (She's now officially five... a handful.) Anyway, she called and says 'are you coming over for my birthday?? You promised you wouldn't forget!' Ha! So we had to jump in the car and go tell her happy birthday... along with $10 and chocolate milk. <--- That's what she requested for her birthday.

Here are two tips, just listed on the website. :)

Cherry Pie Stardust (Not a great pic of the gorgeous color. :( )

I got a letter in the mail from our 9 yo granddaughter tonight with her birthday list. Her birthday is Dec. 13 and being close to Christmas, I do think she gets shorted on the birthday celebration sometimes.

The funny thing about getting a letter in the mail is that she rides the bus to our house every afternoon. We see her every day! The last item on her list was honeydew melon. LOL. I guess food and drinks are in this year. :)

Thanks everyone!

Aw, happy birthday to your granddaughter Kayte. Birthdays are huge when you're FIVE! You got off lucky with cash and chocolate milk. Sounds pretty good to me.

Very pretty tips tonight.
I got off great! We took to just giving them each a $10 on their birthdays... there are too many of them!:laugh: She made me laugh when she put chocolate milk on her 'wish list', so I had to get that.

Did I already show you my newest favorite photo shoot pic?
