My MVP2 is officially on it's way out. It won't recognize anything 510 threaded and only a few of my Ego tanks. This morning , it refused to recognize the same tank/coil that has been on it for the past week, even though it was working fine last night and nothing had changed. So I figure it's time to replace is. Anyone know where has them for the cheapest price? I'd rather not purchase from ebay. Lowest I can find is World of Vape at $40.95, but I'm sure I've seen them for $35 somewhere/

.....@The Prophet.....take a look here before you buy, it might be something you can fix

if your ego threads are stripped.....they also make a 510 adapter....follow the link on the page
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/capt-shay/6374-ego-ego-connector.html

or you could have a center-pin issue, which is an easy fix
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/capt-shay/6338-fixing-mvp-vv3-contact-issues-guide.html

if your wearing out your threads from changing alot of toppers an adapter will help save your original threads, the link above was for the ego and this one is 510 and there are also combo adapters...it's great for saving 510 threads and creating a new base to use but for air-flow it's a total flop.
Airflow Adapter

yet any excuse is good enough to justify a new MVP Purchase :D

I've asked already, but what should I put on my mvp2? Still using the iclear30, common consensus seems to be a nauti mini. I'm leaning towards that but I'm slightly concerned over how often the coils need changing. I don't vape huge amounts, probably about 2ml a day, averaging about 170 puffs a day...

I use GS-H2, GS-H5T, PT2 with air control base and mini PT2, they all work fine

I use a naut mini with mine and only 1 coil as gone on me in about a month of using and pretty sure it was my own fault for trying to dry burn it whilst drunk lol I vape a tank a night on mines o 2ml ish (they get kinda gurgly if you vape under .5ml in my experience) My i clear 30 on the other hand goes through coils and wicks like no ones business

As suggested, check my blogs for all the MVP fixes available. I just run a 510/ego connector all the time on my MVP and V3's so I don't have to deal with it.

Innokin

Rock Bottom Vapes $35.95

Ordered once from them with no issues.

Thanks. Great price!

Am leaving for hospital now - UGH, it's so early...

I hope your shoulder surgery goes good, and that you recover quickly. I know several people who have had shoulder surgery, take your time with the recovery process and do the therapy religiously but with caution. The old adage of NO PAIN - NO GAIN might apply to many things, but NOT shoulder surgery.

I messed up my shoulder a couple weeks ago, dislocated it, tore some tendons and ligaments, I am getting by fairly well now, but I can foresee a possible surgery in my future . . I don't look forward to that at all.

Again, I hope everything goes really good for you.

It's fluctuating so badly now that I can't use it. I just ordered a new one from 101 vape. Rock Bottom Vapes had a better price but the site seemed sketchy to me, but 101 Vape had nothing but stellar reviews.

The 1.9ohm coil I've been running in it suddenly dropped to non, then when I fixed it (coil had begun to come loose from the base) read back at 1.8. Then I tried firing it, got nothing. Ohm reader clocked it at .7. Took off the tank (mPT2), cleaned out the connectors, screwed it back on: 1.2. Go to fire, back down to .8. I know it's not the coil, it's been running fine for the past week. My other coils aren't working on it either. All of them were fine on it when I built them last week, I used the MVP to check the resistance and it read them all.

Single coil 1.5-1.8 so I guess you will need two 3.0-4.0 if dual.

Everyone raves about the Magma but the MVP won't do low ohm builds. Maybe better with a IGO something single coil for testing.

I'm wrapping a single 1.1 ohm coil on the iGo L and it works great on the MVP. Same for the Trident (I sold it) but it worked fine with a 1.1/1.4 ohm build on the MVP.

My MVP is finally dying a slow death. Since importing a new one is impossible due to customs restrictions, I've been thinking about opeining it up, saving the electronics into an Altoids mod and setting it with an 18650. I've seen the MVP dissasembled but I'm wondering if anyone has a link to a dissasembly.

Lately whenever it reaches 3.6 I have to vape it plugged in. I'm seeing the last days of it.

After a two month usage of the Nauti mini I'd say it works great. Flavor decreases as the head gets worn, but if you wash them regularly and cycle them (say, two clearos with 3 heads a piece) they will last a long time. After washing I leave them in alcohol and rinse them in running water. They've gone up slightly in resistance (1.8 to 2 ohms) and sometimes when they're not well primed can give some rubbery taste.
When wet give them a quick dryburn, then put a paper plug and leave overnight. Flavor is not so big as brand new, but it's acceptable.
These and the Vapeonly BCC are now my clearos of choice.

Get the big tank with BVCs if you can, and with the metal/glass tank. The mini goes through liquid in a flash.

Sweet, thanks everyone. I was looking at the VTR but it seemed like a lot of hassle having to deal with the beauty ring not allowing certain tanks and all.

If I could, my vape of choice would be the eLeaf iStick mini. Goes a little higher and burns a little hotter, but the footprint is just dainty. I'm hoping for a better MVP, but if I could, mine would be out.
