jimmyDB, thanks for trying anyway. I've wasted almost 15 ml of juice and I just don't have time to play with this right now. I'm still prepping to go back to work, and I never thought for a minute I'd have this kind of aggravation with this. I am SO disappointed!! IF I can finish with my other stuff, I may try again. AARRGGHHH

Thus far I am NOT having a good experience with my MVP2. It's not actually the device itself. The doggone tanks are giving me HELL!! I thought I would try the tank that came with it just for starters so I could get used to the device. It came with a CE Clear30. In spite of me being careful, the thing leaked like a sieve!! OKay, I sucked it up, cleaned things up and tried again with the Kanger Aero Tank. THAT leaked. What the hell am I doing wrong???

On the Aero Tank, ensure you have good gaskets. There is a gasket on the top part, and bottom part. The Pyrex sits all cushy like twixt them. Any bit o' grit could wear the gaskets, cause an untrue seal. Q-tips can clean these up while they are in their respective grooves, top and bottom of tank assembly. A good rinse, rubbing down w/ paper towel, pop them back in carefully and be sure the gaskets seat well. A small standard screwdriver manipulated gently over the gaskets to nudge them into seating can work.

They usually have quick pick gasket kits for under $3 at most juice / tank vending sites. If you got the mini version you may want to try a small gasket kit, regular version go on and use the large gasket kit. Know this is a real help if you're on the run, or getting ready to head out. It is an option to keep in mind though if you start continually having this happen. Buy different gaskets, not all in a batch can be bad.

Also screw the base and top together fairly tight. Until my tank shattered, the gaskets did not let you over-tighten. My tank shattered from klutsy dropping not tightening.

Aside from that not sure of what would cause leaking. One of those "here lemme see, I fix it" type of things. *chuckles* Then, i take a minute or so, show you how to fix it for next time. :) Mor than nought, ain't you doing wrong. Sometimes these gadgets get picky of their own.

Well... take some small comfort that I feel your pain :( I too would be upset.... I primarily make my own juice, and that for a few others... so if I waste my 'bought' juice, I get upset... to the point that I actually kept any bad juice I have tried... I have nearly 100mL of 'waste' juice still. I dare not try it though... good stuff to give to freeloaders. Anyhoo... I wish you,... I Xmas wish you... the best of luck with what you have on hand and that the situation change for the better :)

I was going to say that if I had a single new/clean tank I would offer to send it to you... and guess what, I do... so... no lies allowed [stupid upbringing]... PM me an address, yours or just a safe place for pickup... and it's yours.

Leaks happen, Roto. But it's odd that you have two at the same time. Generally it's because something is loose or a seal is broken. As far as the i30 could be that the seal on the coil is bad or the coil isn't tight enuff. And don't forget that plastic piece on top of the coil must be there.

You know, if I had brain, I'd be damned dangerous. I'm pretty sure it's not the tanks. I'm probably doing something or not doing something. I know me. I can muck up a wet dream. Until I can really sit down and figure this out, I popped an Aspire tank that I was using earlier, and (poof) it's working. However, it's crackling like hell. I think I'm going to take it off so it doesn't burn up. I really need to leave this doggone thing alone right now, but I HATE giving up.

On the Aerotank you want to make sure you're only unscrewing the base when you fill it. I decided to take the base and bottom stainless section to clean my Protank once and learned that stainless section is what was holding the tank and sealing it against the o-rings.. Pretty sure the Aero is the same..

"Crackling" isn't bad either.. That means the wick is wicking!!

Thanks for the tip, and I checked to see what I'd done. Luckily, I didn't do that. Hmmm.....I'm going to give it another shot in a few minutes.

Well, when I tell y'all what I did, y'all are going to laugh at me because I know I laughed at me. I glanced at the little instructional card that came with the tank, but I didn't really much pay it any mind. Something told me to go back and look at it again. It had a diagram of the construction of the whole tank piece by piece. Once I looked at it closely, I just started laughing. I didn't realize that when they ship this tank, they ship it without the coil in it. I am SO used to tanks coming with the coil already installed that I never thought to check that. I installed the coil into the tank, and VOILA!! I am now vaping like a champ. OMG! This truly IS a huge step up from and eTwist. :D:vapor:

Hi Roto :) Unlike some of these lovely people who've been trying to assist you I'm far too new at vaping myself to have been any use at all in helping you with your problem, but I've been reading along with your issues and I must say I'm so pleased for you that these you've now got it all sorted out :thumb: Happy vaping!!

Fab, let me know how you get on :)

I'd like to be able to give Chanelvaps a website where she can order my yummy toffee flavour direct to the USA.

The following is from Cigg-e, in regards to not being able to order the Toffee flavor online...

We have just had a restock of our liquids and they are currently being checked into our warehouses.

As soon as it is available to buy, I'll let you know.

Many thanks,
Dan.

Awe shoot. Don't feel so bad. Often if I'm fiddling with some hobby computer code, unable to get it to work, wife comes over and looks at the code. "Missing a dot." *pointing*

We all have our Picard moments at times. facepalm.jpg

Minor update on my MVP2 journey here.

1. We empty out the Iclear30 using a handy blunt syringe.
2. Put our sacred Sauce back into a bottle.
3. We disassemble the Iclear tank.
4. We rinse clean all the pieces.
5. We put it all together and return it to the kit's box to remain unused.
6. We mildly regret not even vaping one tank of juice through it.
7. We vape the remainder of the juice in the Smok tank, refill it again this morning, keep on vaping it.

Guess it is a matter of what you like, how you come to vaping. I started with BC Clearos after the junk-a-likes. This probably caused me to enjoy a cool vape more. That noted the top coil tanks such as the Iclear, are probably spot on if you're after a warm vape. I do not care for a warm vape. Even in only mouth hitting it was too warm for me. Not that I'm a full time mouth hitter. I tend to vape like I smoked, draw in through mouth, inhale. Did learn you do not inhale a full set of lungs with vaping. Still you can get the tops of your lungs filled. Unable to do that with top coils, too warm to suit me.

May sell/trade/barter the Iclear tank off. Be happy to get two 5 packs of Smok (universal) 2.0oHm single coils in trade, dicker over whatever postage, or not depending on whatever suits anyone. Looked at around three different vendors to arrive at around $10 for Iclear30, think that's reasonable. Again, not knocking the tank. Aware it just don't suit me. *shrugs* Nice to be included in the kit, give a person opportunity to try it out. :)

* goes to watch for post with his Aerotank steel tube replacement *

Rotowoman - I'm so glad you were able to figure out the tank issue. Tank looks a little different with the "octopus legs" dangling, eh? ;)

I've tried the iClear 30 on a few occasions. Most of the time, I'm not overly fond of it - too tight of a draw for me. But, I do use it once in a while when I want a little change of pace :)
