Any word on what chip is in the 20w mvp? Or rumors about the dna30 mvp?

Mvp2 was my first foray into rbas and was the device i quit cigs on so im looking to get a new model, but i primarily use dna30/40 mods now so a 30w version would be awesome.

supposed to be an evolve chip....

they also said there would be 2 versions of the new MVP

Just kinda surprised to see them not billing evolv like they did with the svd. Reckon we'll see maybe the 30w version. Figure the dna30 retails around 45$ i can see a 30w mvp being in the 70-80$ range. Hell im down assuming it has a.spring loaded 510.

sure hope it in the lower price range, but as you seen they tried to push the SVD2 at 99 bucks yet i don't think they got that many takers at that price.....yet in the first interview they said there would be one new MVP at a reasonable price and the other at a higher end price....so we will eventually see soon i hope

I think the shape of the svd was/is a turn off for a lot of people.
All length no girth, then theirs the lack of massage feature.

:matrix:

bet something went down at Innokin like…
“should we go with evolv or ARM” ? - - “lets do both”

thinkin the next MVP will be temperature control capable (from evolv)
some cutting edge & a bit more pricey (30w-40w-50w)

this one has the ARM 32-bit microprocessor (not evolv) (wonder what's in ours now)?
ARM- develops the instruction set and architecture but does not manufacture products
Companies that make chips that implement an ARM architecture include:
Apple, AppliedMicro, Atmel, Broadcom, Freescale Semiconductor,
Nvidia, NXP, Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics, ST Microelectronics and Texas Instruments.

Globally ARM is the most widely used instruction set architecture in terms of quantity produced.
The low power consumption of ARM processors has made them very popular:
over 50 billion ARM processors have been produced as of 2014
"ARM-based chips are found in nearly 60 percent of the world’s mobile devices".
The ARM architecture (32-bit) is the most widely used architecture in mobile devices,
and most popular 32-bit one in embedded systems.
ARM-based processors, representing 95% of smartphones,
35% of digital televisions and set-top boxes and 10% of mobile computers

my thoughts are this is the IMPROVED MVP
-flush mount / spring loaded
-upgrade microprocessor
-increased power output
looks to be same basic size (same batt-pak I’d guess)
some colors, maybe display changes, but the basic formula
that set the standard for entry-mid class-majority vapor`ers…

then coming soon the NEW MVP (3 / evolv / DNA) ?
revamped, high tech, evolv driven and cutting edge
with innovations galore from Innokin...

but I can only speculate

:)

remember when 1st MVP came out and the "beauty ring" hung off over the edge of device

Problem with the SVD is the power button glitch. But even with that it remains my fav mod. But for a strange reason. It gives better flavor than any other mod I own. By a mile. No idea why. No idea how it does what it does but... it does! As far as the SVD2... meh. Solid as a rock but still can't compare to the original SVD.

There isn't enough of an "upgrade" to make me want the 20watt

after reading the Reddit article I was expecting a minimum 30 watts

and hoping for changes in the form factor, firing button and charging

port at the very least, so much so that I bought rba's rda's and coiling materials

in anticipation of being able to sample the experience of dual coil vaping

According to rumour it's going to be February until what we must now assume will be

v3 launches so it's looking like the ipv2 or mini will be my next purchase

To say I'm disappointed in the news of the 20 watt is like saying it's a bit nippy in the Antarctic

I really think Innokin have dropped the ball here

The only one I can find over here is on flea bay for $275 ... a bit rich for me

I'm sick of having to pay a "UK supplement" for decent vaping gear

don't know if you seen any of these, not much better, but here is a few choices

- Vapor Shark DNA30 - Powered By Evolv DNA30 | Grey Haze ECig Store
- https://phoenixeliquid.co.uk/product/vapor-shark-dna-30/
- Vaporshark DNA 30 Box Mod
- Vaporshark rDNA 30 Box Mod
- Vapor Shark DNA 30 (Black) [VE751-B8] - £124.95 : Vape Escape

the MVP is SO IMMENSELY popular
“if it only had a little more power”
“if the stupid connecter was a little better”
“if the price stays the same”

they were all gripes we have had, and now Innokin has addressed this...

Innokin is after the “masses” which is where the “mid-powered” devices fall - IMO

battery life, reliability, ease of use, advanced features within a price point
that allows peeps to buy multiple devices and be comfortably assured it is money well spent...

I Trust Innokin at this point, and believe they will “WOW” the people waiting for a high powered treasured device…

for me, I am not interested in a high output device (15-20w is overkill for me)
but I am sure interested in what releases Innokin has up its sleeve…

then I get the "wait" for what one wants is miserable :(

unless the features are many, and the price is few, I doubt I'll be interested
when I know how life is with the old V2 at a good price...
