30 to 40 watts on a regulated device is pure awsome-ness with an rda and that;s where the flavor is at for me....i look forward to a higher end MVP...the only thing i have found satisfactory on my MVP2 is a Carto tank flavorwise....i guess if you like a cool vape and spending money on new coil heads and tanks that only work half the time then party on garth....personally i want to not only taste my vape i want to feel it, i'll say it one again to each his own....when and if they come out with a higher end device i will be my choice to buy one......if i need a hotter vape than that i can always use a mec or one of my higher end devices...i applaud innokin for these improvements, bring-um on i say.

The mvp2/ptii was my first non-ego device, after 2Weeks on egos, so i call my first. There's no argument that its a fatastic device and higher end than what most vapors use. Those of us that use the higher power, "higher end" mods are a fairly small percentage of the overall vaping community. When i look at my collection its insane considering back in march, my now ex was using my mvp and all i had was a provari.
Something to remember ive become an enthusiast and collector, but, i vape so that i wont smoke, whatever someone wants to use that keeps them from smoking is all good.
When i had my mvp, it had more than enough power to push a r91%, taifun, and a.single coil patriot. Funny thing is thats all my provari could really push, ot wasnt until i got my first dna30 mod in june that i started getting into all the other stuff, 6 months later and im looking at finally replacing the mvp because it means something to me, it got me off smokes and made me a happy vapor, thats whats important.
A friend of mine owns a vape shop, 90% of his clientele who buys hardware are buyint ptiis, nautilus and egos. Outside of that we think a dna30?sxmod, and mechs are normal.because we are around that here or in the builder section of the shop, ive helped so many new people direct them to an mvp2 , and becaus it's an affordable investment they try, love it and most stick with it, one of 8 maybe, come back and want more, most have the vw locked in at 9 or 9.5.

i too started with Halo g6 a week later i bought a SID then an SVD then my first mec, then i knew i wouldn't need analogs anymore but that's just me i needed more i smoked heavy for 35 yrs.....RDA action on the high end devices are very satisfying for me if i diddn't have them i would be smoking cigs i know it.....but yes like i said to each his own and whatever works for you to keep from smoking.....i just preferr a higher end device and there is nothing wrong with that....i mean no harm i just want to vape what i like without retribution

i still use my MVP everyday

This is true, Sando. My (ex)boyfriend and I started vaping about a year and a half ago to quit smoking. My first real upgrade was an MVP and carto tanks...and I still regularly use my MVP as a back up (I am right now as a matter of fact) but I eventually started building my own coils, bought some rebuildables and purchased my "dream mod", the Vapor Flask.

Meanwhile...my ex is still vaping on his trusty Vamo and Protank 2s. I've tried to get him interested in rebuilding and even got him an aerotank as an upgrade to his Protanks. No go. He loves his Vamo and Protanks and has no desire for anything else. In addition, he's never visited a vaping forum or facebook group for vaping.

I think we forget that there are a lot people out there who are satisfied with low watt, simple set ups and I think there will always be a place for the MVP.

I am reading some are not hyped on the small wattage upgrade.
I can understand that, I like the flavor control I get with variable voltage mods. My Vamo V5(even though it is a constant nuisance) is great with my tanks at about 12 to 15 watts. Unfortunately it stops at 15 watts. I cannot see ever needing 100-200 watts.
I know where my flavor sweet spot is and thats all I want. If I want to go all out, I have two unregulated mechanicals for my RDAs

i have a Sig 100 and i never go over 40 watts........with certian RDA with maximum airflow and the rite build you can do 80 watts and it's still comfortable, with the dual batt it's about vape time.....you can even build higher resistances also more versility if ya want it it's there......i'm not trying to start any crap, it's simple if ya don't want it don't buy it and for those who do be glad it's available ...enjoy :vapor:

heck my Billet box puts out some of the best flavor i ever tasted in a carto besides the MVP

I'm still holding on to about a full Protank 2s worth of it haha. Loved that one! Reminded me of an ice cream flavor called blue moon I got from Killer Juice once. I didn't think I'd like dessert kinda stuff but that flavor profile takes the cake!

I'm still wrapping my head around single flavor mixes at the moment. Had to dump my first over flavored batch today. :(

I dont know that i would call it a small power upgrade from 11-20 w.
Of course thats gonna really be ultimately determined by the amp limit and load limit. But theoretically a.single coil can really put out at 20w, wont fog out the room but for most it could work...could being the optimum word

Thanks for the links Pufz, I was a little tired and a little miffed when I made my post

The source of my disappointment is mainly the Reddit article where certain specification

changes were mooted along with pictures of Innokin and Evolve top brass which led me and I'm sure

many others to believe that the next generation of mvp would be a lot more than the 20 watt

offers. I dont know the price point of the 20 watt but I am willing to bet that it will not be competetive with the established

i stick or the newer smart 20 (a badged istick, not a clone)

I built a 1.3Ω dual coil (30g) on a RDA and at 18w, it chucks some seriously thick clouds.

Roger, but a lit of people never mention current, amp limit.
DNA30 i think is 12
Provari 3-is 5.5
It Makes a a huge difference.
Its also why i would want an svd over p3nis.
Im not really into rod mods but if i wanted a 20W mod and price were not a deciding factor thats what i would look at.
Per the build i keep an omerta with 24G at a 0.7Ω on 22w and it'll set off a snoke detector. Lmao

DNA30 is 10a output, 12a input (max).

I'm not a fan of tube mods either. One of my first was a Vamo V5 and didn't like it too much. The MVP2 got me into box mods. I was happily vaping at 8w-10w on the MVP2 with a 1.6 - 1.8Ω KF build. I got a dripper just to try out and test new flavors w/o building and filling a tank. I'm not really a dripper but it does produce some satisfying clouds.

I went from the mvp 2, which i loved, to provari which was.....great performer for kfun and taifun, but not much better than the mvp, then switched to my vsdna30 and mechs.
I.started dripping for the same reason, i DIY my juice. Found myself dripping mostly but i use an erlkonigin when out and about.
Not for clouds though im a flavor vapor so i normally vape betweem 22-28w. On the rare occasion that i want to.play fog machine i grab my mechs lol
