That dude is nucking futz!
But if you get past the hoopla, his videos are very informative!!

ya know, he is wacko (in a good way)

his difference is, more than just trying to get his name/face out there,
I feel he is trying to help out the peeps...

not like so many others that just spew crap, unprepaired, boring…

he tries, makes it work, then shows us vapor’ers how…

funny, when I watch and he reviews something I don’t really care about
his antics seem wack-o & far fetched………
but when I watch because of something I LIKE, I hardly notice his peculiarities

he’s real, he’s a keeper

Naw man.

This things been lent out, spent the night in a dew-soaked lawn after a tussle, goes to the beach on a regular basis; I'm enjoying it right now.

Though, it'll only charge up to 4.1v.

I'm waiting for the MVP4. ;)

Some charge to 4.1 some charge to 4.2 we have seen reports of several and had a discusion on this thread about it a while back. It is not a defect and nothing to worry about. The theory at the time was that the chargers cutoff is bringing it real, real close to 4.2 but not going quite far enough to make it the detection circuit read 4.2.

And yea, these things are complete tanks. I have manged to kill a couple now but I had to try real hard:p

I agree totally, when I search YouTube for an item, I look for his name on the list of reviewers.

yepper, Capt’n hit it right on mark

believe the true FULL charge number for these Li-Ion batteries comes in at 4.15v
so rounding up to 4.2v, these Chinese curcuit board read-outs
register either 4.1v OR 4.2v (not precise accuracy)
if displays showed 2-3 digits past the decimal point, it would be a different story…

Todd's E-Cig Reviews has received an MVP3. You can see it starting at around 4 minutes.

yeah ! looks like final versions will have USB port on the “SIDE”
what's the true mah ? ? ?
and there is some sort of correlation between the VV4 and the MVP 3.0...

now just what the ‘hard-prices’ will be…

I'm very interested in the 3.0... But, I just got my pair of Cloupor Minis and Kayfun V4s... I really like the form factor of the Minis, I did order a Nitecore D4 to charge my batteries externally though....

Onto the Tobeco Kayfun V4 clones... AWESOME, just plain awesome. Great vapor, great flavor, and very pleasing to look at... They are a bit tricky to wick though... I have found Japanese cotton to be my new favorite wicking material, just love the stuff...

did you hear they had some big trouble and several of those Cloupor minis "melted-down"

looks like there is a recall or something, I don't have full story

better look into it and remove your battery till you know !!!

I did, that's why I ordered the D4

think you better read some more

the way I read it was, some, not even being used/charged just went into melt down

I guess you are referring to internal charging ???

THINK there might be bigger issues

just don't want any to be with you, or any of our peeps !!!

as long as you are aware

just be safe

This only started happening within the month or so, I figured the battery was finally starting to show it's age.

Well, today I got my Nautilus mini in the post and after some getting-used-to the lack of Airflow in comparison to the Mini Aerotanks I think I will like this a lot better than on my ego 1600 mAh VV, which only goes up to 4 volts on a 1.8 ohm coil, when the MVP 20W finally arrives.

The silicone skin arrived today - not pretty but will fulfill its purpose and the MVP 20 is getting closer to me:)

I think someone needs to start a thread about all the problems people are having with their MVP's....

    ...................Crickets....................

    Eric

I think you would find one like that to be very short in length. The MVPs are generally quite reliable while the one main complaint heard when the 2.0s were first out was the awkwardness of the main button.

I had seen this one before. I think the more important thing is he is being on the level and not simple another "Cloudtastic" showman which seems to be too common place with a majority of the YT videos seen unless it's a factory video on a new model of something coming out.

Got my first real dripper. Short story is 18650 battery doesn't last very long at 1.3 ohms and 13 watts. Finding out that it is the way it goes. Hoping the 3.0 at 3800mah is a better choice.

Depends on what you get for 18650s as well as turning things up which automatically takes away from battery time. Try that with 18350s! With the VW Smok Guardian Epipe II mod that just came out that uses those the 13w setting will chew up batteries like there is no tomorrow which has annoyed some first time 18350 users! I tried some 5000mah 18650s found on 3w-15w Smok Aces as well as the Vamo V5 which fared well at the usual 7w lasting several days since they were on but not in constant use with everything else here.

I keep a 50w ZNA 50 at 20w on in front of me with 3100mah high drain Panasonics that last for days simply from being there with others on at the same time. The 5000s are regular button top while the HD batteries are flat tops which seem to be needed by more mods. The high drain last simply from still able to provide a lower voltage for a bit before recharge is necessary.

    well that's great to hear

SO MANY people claim they love the Nautilus mini on MVP (and others)
it HAS TO BE the hottest set-up going at this time

(I'm excited waiting for you to get 20W and tell all about it) :D

did you get 1.6Ω & 1.8Ω coils so to try both ?

I'm trying to hold out for price-check on 3.0

    good luck

    :)

Aspire is putting out some decent tanks to begin with! After just ordering another Atlantis found marked down the same vendor just knocked down again another $5 from the $24.99 now $19.99! The Mini tanks are what go on the iSticks while the 2.0 willl see a Tumbler or the 20W will see the 5ml size. The Atlantis tanks with the large replacements as well as a pair with the stainless steel mesh on a pair go onto the higher wattage mods and APVs.

Could the markdowns potentially be correlated to the sheisty business with the aspire coils and vendors now just trying to dump the ....?

That wasn't the only vendor where it was found for $24.99 but the first seen at Vaping Deals the other day was already sold out! I just happen to run right into that one when actually out pricing the replacement coils for the Atlantis. More then one vendor had the business card type promo card with two additional coils when first ordering the Nautilus 5ml tanks giving me several extra for those while only seeing the single spare for each Atlantis ordered. Also spotted the Woforo 7ml replacement tanks for them at another vendor while out and around.

Most of the discounts you will be seeing now other then New Year's will be from the slowdown in business that follows the Black Friday, Holiday blitz and vendors are just getting in their new inventories while wanting to clear out some of the old. What I see often as part of shady dealings? would be finding prices marked way up over the MSRPs! You see the retail tag at $119.95, the next place will have it for $108.99, and then you run smack into $155 somewhere! The difference between the US and Canadian prices will only vary about 5% so you know something is out of place!
