Last week I had some things in my house that I had to ship out of state. It took almost all of my time off to get this done, and I never did get to contact the vendor, and here I am back at work again. At the rate things are going, it looks like I may just lose out.

Like Paul said where is it leaking?

so I am trying to set my wife up (a brutal vapor’er)
with a sleek, stealth, higher power vape

anyone know if they have “upgraded” the istick 20w yet or is
that just discontinued/gone due to the 30w launch…?

The 20W-istick has three "problems"..."soft" threads, too easily depressable 510 pin and MEAN regulation.

The 30W-iStick has...Stainless Steel threads, spring-loaded 510 pin and RMS regulation (plus 10 extra Watts).

So...for all intents and porpoises...the 30Watt is an "upgraded 20Watt".

My brand new Aspire mini Nautilis is giving me hell.

I agree with Paul...make sure coil is screwed into base tightly...and check O-rings.

Also...make sure when screwing base on (after filling) that the AFC is closed OFF (ie. no hole showing). Helps maintain vacuum.

[Also...make sure top O-ring has flat edge on glass, indented groove on metal-pitted side towards drip tip.]

so to answer my question, you think the 20W is discontinued ? ?

I was interested in less watts, less price…

Maybe not discontinued (yet) but undesirable and likely to be discontinued.
The upgrades in the 30W make it more desirable even you you never use it above 20W.

The new/changed features are worth the $5, and if they were to make a version with a 20W limit it's still cost the same as the 30W.

I think the higher price of the 50w is due to the extra battery more than the 50W chip.

Yeah, it really doesn't make much sense to buy the 20w now that the 30w is out. Unless you get one from the Classifieds section here for a good price. I see that you're not verified though.

One problem is that most places sell out of them so fast that it can be hard to get one. Vapenw.com had some in stock for a good price when I checked yesterday

another good case of - “it’s what I want”
all your philosophies and theories are more than understood by ME…
my point was I DON'T want a device capable of 30 watts, to give
to the person to whom will be receiving it…
20w is more than fine, but any other 20w would cost more…
20w is what I am after, cheaper price is just a plus to include…
size, features, popularity, price, is the ticket at this time… (fits the niche`)

I wouldn’t purchase the ‘old style’, is why I ASKED,
does anyone think the 20W version will be improved or discontinued…
I believe you peeps are TRYING to help, but telling me what I should want
just is not what I’m asking…
again, I want a device that puts out ONLY 20W and will the istick 20w
be revised or discontinued, and if anyone has heard yeah or ney on THAT subject…
my common sense tells me what has been repeated here, and is why I asked
if anyone has heard chatter, rumors pertaining to such…

Have you thought about the 30 Puff????:glare::evil:
I just got the 20 a week ago and I like it rattles and all! I love the hand fell of it and it hits different then the mvp2 and the vv4 even at the same wattage.
I still just bought the 50 anyway, but my boss just bought 2 mvp30's and loves them too.
I haven't heard about the 20 being shelved...they still sell the mini after all:)

And I just read your full post, so don't shoot me yet:ohmy:
They might update it since they will have the same parts from the 30 with no redesign needed, but...

I have heard no word of improving on the 20w iStick. I have a hunch the 30w was the fix. But only what I interpret, not what I actually know. But with the state of advancement in mods these days, it would make sense for them to not step back to improve the 20 when the 30 has the improvements. People seem to want the watts now days. I say KISS. I love my 20 watt isticks just the way they are.

yepp, my bad – shoulda continued to state iStick 20W
it is an on-going from original post asking;
“will the istick 20w be revised” (anyone heard ?)
I would like to buy an upgraded version of a 20 watt istck
as a gift that I don’t want to give more than 20 watts…
like to have a SMALL, 2200mah, 20w cheap device (ss threads,RMS)
so small, the istick 20 is almost not a box mod...

my gut feeling also is, it will be dropped in favor of the istick 30w

but you NEVER KNOW - someone might chime in sayin

"yeah bro, so&so just got a new upgraded version istick 20w in stock"
