will the istick 20w
be revised or discontinued, and if anyone has heard yeah or ney on THAT subject…

As I stated earlier, I expect it WILL be discontinued. Soon.
I laid out the reason I think that.

No reason to upgrade it with the 30W improvements when the 30W is at the same price point (or would be after the improvements)

Yes but they are soooo good that there is nothing to talk about. Why puff wants an i20 and not an MVP 20w is beyond me.

I think he said he's looking for a stealth vape for the wife. Wants to keep it at 20w, so the istick 30 is out.
For all that the MVP has going for it, it's about as stealthy as the Sunset Ltd.

I would like to buy an upgraded version of a 20 watt istck
as a gift that I don’t want to give more than 20 watts…
like to have a SMALL, 2200mah, 20w cheap device (ss threads,RMS)
so small, the istick 20 is almost not a box mod...

There is NO reason Eleaf would update the 20W-iStick!!!

The 30W-iStick is the same size as the 20W-iStick, same 2200mAh as the 20W-iStick, almost the same price as the 20W-iStick...but with SS threads, floating center pin and RMS.

Just because the 30W-iStick has 30Watts...doesn't mean you have to use 30Watts...

I agree I vape at the 8-10 watt range. Does not matter what the maximum wattage capability is you don;t have to use it. That being said one must be careful on certain devices that are 30w or over since many do not go below 4 volts (or more) irregardless of the wattage setting. I wish the vendors would post the voltage range and the wattage range. Of course as stated MEAN regulated makes a firebox at low wattage settings.

I just wish the specs on the BOU clone of the Istick 30w were available

BOU 30W 2200mAh:

Variable voltage - can be adjustable from 3.0V to 8.0V (in 0.1V increments)
Variable wattage - can be adjustable from 2.0W to 30.0W (in 0.1W increments)

https://www.fasttech.com/search?bou 30w

There was some discussion in the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1-little-itty-bitty-mods-under-100-a-161.html thread of "problems" with the BOU 30Watt (I can't remember what the problems were).

The consensus seemed to be it's better to spend the extra $3 for the Smart-30 II.

Smart-30 II 2200mAh

Variable voltage - can be adjustable from 1V to 8.5V
Variable wattage - can be adjustable from 2W to 30W

So since today is my "payday" you almost had me there. Put one into my cart and started to checkout and ran smack into a "we won't accept a PO box as a mailing address" notice. Since my only mailing address is the PO box that the post office provides in lieu of street deliver here, I am out of luck with them. I did send them an email about it, but the web page sounded pretty adamant about it.

Is there a business or church or something in town with a street address that you could ship it to?

Around here we have po box businesses that use an address with a unit number like it is an apartment instead of a box.

Nope, no street addresses in town at all. All 80 residents get free PO boxes since there is no street delivery. I did go ahead and try ordering, with a comment explaining this, so we'll see what they do.

I think that the idea is that the billing address for the credit/debit card HAS to match the shipping address.

What shipper are they using?
I know historically UPS and FedEx won't take P.O. boxes. What address do you use for them?

And you still must have a street address. 1) It's required for a house. Homeowners insurance may send correspondence to a P.O. Box, but they still need the physical location too. Property tax too, they need the location for when they do assessments. Utilities also need to locate the physical location.

2) 911, emergency services need a location. I grew up with a rural route address, that was changed to street and house number for 911. First the streets were all numbers, then a few years later they gave them all names.

Anyway, assuming you are where your profile says, the electric motor repair shop is listed at 101 Main St.,the post office is 307 Main, Smokey's is at 311 Main, and the bank is 312 Main. I'd send it to one of those addresses if you can't come up with another.

I'm sure most would accept UPS or FedEx for you, and the post office would hold any USPS packages.
Per the 2010 census, there were 96 residents in 47 households.

Also, the page linked about the new policy impkies that contacting them may be sufficient, or they may request some additional verification.
https://originvape.com/important-new-checkout-policies-due-to-recent-credit-card-fraud/

All orders requiring shipment to P.O. boxes are flagged and placed on hold for review. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any P.O. box orders at our discretion without notice.

So, they are not completely disallowing them, and I suspect a phone call would get it pushed through.

You'd need to call with different billing and shipping address too, like if you used UPS.

They use USPS, and yes, I do have a street address - sort of. I've had fun and games with places that confirm addresses through the USPS database, though, since our actual addresses don't match anything official. I had a heck of a time getting my current phone, since they couldn't confirm the street address for UPS and wouldn't mail to a PO Box. Finally had to send them a statement from UPS that yes, they did deliver to the address I'd used.

Anyhow, I did get a response to my email, and will ship to me under the circumstances. Someone there is almost as much of a night owl as I am, since they sent the response at about 1:30 AM their time. So I've got a pink MVP3 ordered.:D
