@herb Exactly! Most of the times that I switch a topper from one device to another (for a battery change/charge or whatever) I don't notice a difference but sometimes putting a topper on something after a run on the MVP I can tell a difference at the same setting and chnaging setting doesn't help.

Yeah , the signal that the MVP has provides a very special vape for sure , i guess thats why a veteran in the "ask the veterans " forum said the below :

IMHO, the MVP is very close to a ProVari in vape quality.

Makes sense actually , they both have a very similar signal.

I am running a 1.8 ohm single in my new Magma and the flavor blows me away! I love this thing!

Edit: at 7.5 -8 watts

Holy cow , 7.5 -8 watts and your getting great flavor with the magma , i haven't tried that low but i 100% believe it .

Whats everyones preference here in terms of PG vs. VG? Im currently finding that I prefer higher VG for the vapor production.

Its funny- when I started I was all about throat hit. Now, throat hit is meh and I prefer vapor production. The good things about PG are that it seems to provide a little more flavor, it doesnt seem to gunk up coils as fast, it wicks better, and the hit feels "stronger". VG has the CLOUD though.

Im currently prefering a 70%vg/30%pg 12mg blend. My 60%pg/40%vg 12mg blend sort of feels "hollow" when I exhale. I think im going to get some higher vg of the same flavor and mix it to thicken the mix/cloud. Curious to hear about other's experiences with PG/VG

I have been all over the board with this. There have been times when I preferred all VG and times when I went to the other extreme with all PG. I've been many places in between as well.

Now, I find myself preferring more VG, pretty much where you are actually 30/70 PG/VG. Sometimes, with certain flavours, I do want a "dryer" vape and go for 50/50 but this is now the exception to my overall preference.

The 1A chargers most likely are ok and that's what the other wart I have here is (I think the one at the office is too). Just don't want to use the one that went flaky on the good stuff anymore. And now that one is out of the picture I figure I better get a replacement And a spare to have on hand. It's cheaper for me to order than buying local as prices here tend to be a bit high - the downside is the wait. Can use the computers until they get here but don't always have the laptop powered up and don't really care for extra wires hanging off it.
Doesn't surprise me that it went wacky - the charger for the ego twist that came with it ended up with a split case the third time I used it. Got those from a place local and some of their stuff is definitely low end - made the one purchase there and have even thought about buying from them again.
If you are ordering anyhow, I really recommend the Amazon.com: Antec Quad Port USB Charging Station (UA4-25): MP3 Players & Accessories since it lets you charge multiple items and you don't have to get at the wall outlet to use it.

PG irritates my throat so I stay VG strong, & now that I’ve got somewhat ‘conditioned’

I can tolerate more PG, maybe 50/50 max, but it still makes my throat sore - - I prefer

70-80% VG (a little PG keeps wicking honest) most my DIY comes out to 35/65(PG/VG)

Don't know if this is something to be concerned about or not.
Haven't my 2 units very long. Got them and used each until the charge went low enough for yellow. Put them on the charger and the yellow came on steady for each but didn't last long before going to steady green until full charge then went out. I know this is normal charging process.
Mow for the strange part. Been using them the past couple days with no problems. Last night one went to yellow so I put it aside. This morning I put it on the charger. Instead of getting a steady light it cycles through all 3. When the cycle gets to green, the green will flash a couple times - 2 quick then the third time is sometimes quick and the cycle repeats. Other times the third lighting of green stays longer - sometimes 1 or 2 seconds and sometimes longer - there have been some as long as 8 or 9 seconds.
Charge was at 3.7 when starting and is up to 4.0 now. First put in on about 3 hours ago and have pulled off a few times to check and attempt to reset. Have had it in both on and off mode while on the charger and it gets the same thing. One of the times that I took it off the charger, I put a tank on and everything functioned normally.
Is this cycling while charging something to be concerned about?
Is there something that can be done to rest so that the charging process shows a steady light (as I currently believe is how the normal process works)?
Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

I had some trouble like this with a VVv3 of mine

moving it around 'While Plugged In' it went nuts and always gave me a light show

I believe it was from dripping with it and using it as 'passthrough'

I cleaned both connectors and used CANNED AIR and it fixed it about 95%

still does it a little, but now I'm aware and am very careful with plug in

(believe I weakened the connector on VVv3)

@herb I am going to order some of those clone coils for the i30.

I have rewicked an i30 with rayon. Worked real good until I tried it again. They use such a thin wire to get the 4.4 ohms that it either didn't like another dry burn or the rewick broke one of the coils.
I rebuilt one with a single coil but it was too much work. Better to try those $1 coils.

You all sure post a lot while I am at work.

yepper, those coils are a tuff one for me – they’re fussy
almost impossible to trim off excess wire INSIDE bottom
after you have rebuilt it… (i16/i30 & T2 styles)

plus I believe they use NR-R-NR wire
