We wont worry about who , i mean..what's buried there They won't bother us awful much..unless they're in the garden...I'd hate to be weeding my precious garden and come up holding something that was holding me back. Talk about hearing a bloody scream from 8 miles out....whew...that gave me shivers.

Seriously, Dream...these photo's are just ....well...the best thing Ive ever seen. So much work was taken into providing all these detailed plans... It's really such a kind thing for you to do.. Even those of us who don't build mod's can certainly understand the huge project in just doing all of this for other people.

Got no pretty pictures ready yet today... .... been fighting a migraine the last few days and got over it yesterday... and felt so good I got sidetracked in all kinds of directions. I do have it almost done though and will have the final pictures. The how-to is almost over.... .... and I've really enjoyed it.... it was a creative challenge I will miss. I'm pretty happy with what I was able to cover and only know of a few things I would have liked to have added.

Just wanted to check in.

actually that is the one i got. but it doesnt have any info on how high is the temperature as you move the switch. can i use it as hot as it can get on anything and just control the time it touches whatever im working on? im concerned for connectors, regulators, charger boards...
everything is gonna burn we all take turns...

Glad this was brought up.... I've been meaning to post about the one at Lowes.

You know my Lowes is so foolish that they don't even carry solder?! It blows my mind. It's like they forgot it. I love my Lowes though.... thank God it's there!

EDIT TO ADD: I bought one from Lowes last week that seems like the one Clumsy posted. Haven't used it yet. Will let you all know when I do.

If your sodering on aluminum you could buy alumiweld I have seen a commercial on it and it looks like a good product. Not sure how to heat it up enough with out useing a blow torch tho.
