Pleeeeze don't post here if you stocked up already or are planning to.

So, what are we non survivalist folks going to do? Planning on finishing your stock and putting vaping aside?? Using just what the govt allows us?

Personally, I have only a few months of nic and coils myself. Not sure what the govt approved list of products looks like or how to purchase.

    What are your plans?

Not saying I can't afford it, just choose to not stockpile.
I am Sorry. I couldn't resist, even though you said not to. I am interested though in the future of vaping non-stockpilers and new vapers.
Would you just quit if it just wasn't viable anymore? Quit nic for good?

Not sure. That's why I started thread. I'm not seeing anything that gives me info on the types of vapes that will be available to make any decisions about that. Perhaps some feedback on people cutting down and quitting altogether.
Interested in knowing what the millions of vapers outside of these forums are going to do. I'm not seeing any options for them.

I pretty much own one of everything I currently use. I haven't bought anything new in at least a couple of years except for more flavors, pg and vg. My liter of nic should last me at least 4 more years. I truly doubt I'll be paying $3000 for my next one. When my current rig finally fails, either I'll grab the next one off my shelf or just get a new one.

Vaping has been great so far, but I won't be stressing out if it were to end. People quit nicotine all of the time. The thing about addiction is that we're always told that quitting leads to suffering. I believe the opposite is true; quitting will lead me to liberation.

I agree wholeheartedly with quitting leading to liberation, and I know firsthand it is true.. at least respective to other addictions.

I will say quitting smoking led to liberation for me. Perhaps vaping would do the same. IDK.

Once I have decided to give up something, it can lead to (at times extraordinary) PAIN. However, the suffering is optional.

Although I will say (even with transitioning to vaping) quitting cigarettes was my most difficult quit. It was harder than Suboxone and I mean that in every single aspect.

Because substitution works well for me, the idea of giving up vaping is...scary? IDK. I'm not ready to decide yet, but when I *AM* it will not be the amount of nic in my freezer that tells me I will, or I won't. I will either be ready or not ready, but I'm not running OUT.

Fight back! Join CASAA and donate.

    "To all of our members,

All things considered, CASAA has had a good run. Since our inception in 2009, we’ve helped elevate the voice of consumers to a degree that top officials at the Food and Drug Administration make public statements acknowledging the benefits of vaping and other smoke-free alternatives. We need your help to keep this energy going.

As you well know, CASAA membership is free. We provide all of our services and information to the public without asking for much in return. We don’t sell our members’ data and we don’t put up paywalls. We rely 100% on voluntary donations. So when we tell you that we’ve seen an almost 40% decline in donations over the past year, understand that it means our ability to continue providing information and services is in grave danger.

In light of this, we are doing something we’ve never really done before: We are asking you, plainly and simply, to donate to CASAA. Today. Right now.

    DONATE NOW

The truth is, if every person who opened this email donated just $2.00, we’d have the funding we need to stay operational for the rest of the year. If even half of those people signed up for monthly $2.00 donations, our operating costs would be covered, and we could start implementing plans for expansion.

What would expansions look like for CASAA?

    · Let’s get some real lobbying power. Lobbying firms are expensive and for years consumers have been left to rely on industry associations to provide lobbying resources such as access to lawmakers and even seats at public hearings. We need our own voice in legislatures and we need to pay for it on our own.

    · Expanded Programs. Prepping for spoken testimony, educational materials for lawmakers, and PR campaigns all require up-front investment of money and people power. More funding = more staff and more opportunities to reach people outside of the vaping community.

    · Sustained defense against enduring threats. Just because the FDA is promising to crack down on non-compliant manufacturers after September 9, 2020, doesn’t mean that our fight is over. Anti-nicotine idealogues are pressuring all levels of government to enact stricter laws that are creating new problems and we need to be equipped to respond as well as proactively fix existing bad policies.

Sure. The reason for this thread is to maybe plan ahead and see what channels exist. I'd hate to have a newcomer come here and not be able to help.

I switched from smoking to vaping within several months after I started to vape. It was an easy transition with no withdrawal or cravings. I finished the pack I had and never smoked again. Of course, 24mg juice had a lot to do with the easy switch.

I have enough nic in the freezer to last me the rest of my life at my 3mg strength and current usage rates. It's nice to know that nic will be there regardless of what else happens.

DIY is key. Calculate future nic usage, buy all the nic you need, and freeze it.
