Good thing no one tried to explain the calculations to him. Poor guy wouldn't know what to think. :D

I'm not even sure what that means, but could we please give this thing a rest? I'm sorry I didn't edit that last line out soon enough, but as you can see, I'm getting very, very tired of this back-and-forth. I think we've all made our respective points pretty well, and would be doing everyone a great big favor by ending the sniping.

The forum might be better served if you'd just PM me with a list of grievances, and I'll see what I can do to accommodate them.

I would suggest 510 which is more like the standard connection for majority of PV's out there. If you are in the for one, the EGO C TWIST is hot right now because it performs really good plus the fact that it is variable voltage device. You can purchase this anywhere between $20 and $30.00 plus you have to get an Ego battery charger and A/C wall adapter I got mine from Virgin Vapors but this product is available on most on-line E-cig stores.

You will not regret it when you switch from analog cigarette to electronic cigarette. Happy vaping.

I'm also new to vaping. I tried it a year ago and did not stick with it. I have been vaping now for 3 weeks. Off real cigs for 2 weeks. When I started a year ago I purchaed an Ego kit and was very satisfied. Recently I picked up (2) Vision Spinners and now I do not touch the Ego's and only have them as back-up. I really enjoy vaping now and really do not crave a real cig any longer.

That's great news, and welcome to the forum.

Perhaps you could help out the OP of this thread by sharing with him your observations of the differences between constant-voltage and variable-voltage vaping.

Welcome to your new life as a non-smoker!

Ok I give what is a OP? same as a NOOB? BTW I am trying my Apple Cider right now. Interesting. BTW #2 the EJOY I got has a 11 mah bpttery

"OP" just means "Original Poster"; nothing derogatory. :)

And of course you meant "1100" mah; that's plenty of capacity, and the Spinner has even more (1300). Just wait until you see how you'll be able to adjust the vape once you have a VV battery; it's very nice.

... got 3 flavors of juice Winston, Tobacco and apple cider. so far I have just used the Winston juice. ...

I am fairly new. I initially found the tobacco flavors not so good. Went with Kona Creme and Peppermint which while providing nicotine, did not compete with my memory of a cigarrette and also tasted pretty good.

Now I am more into tobacco flavors, but my memory of real cigs is fading so the flavors don't have to match vs. real cig.

and
...so far I an "analog" free.

That was my experience. Once I started with vaping, zero "analogs". About 6 weeks now, and no desire to go back.

I like all the support and positive vibes here. Everyone is willing to pitch in in their own way and support the newbies.

Sometimes too much. In the end, I think you did the exact right thing Skip. Starting out with a simple ecig is a good way to go. You'll want to graduate to better things as you move ahead so keep an open mind. But do become a pro on what you have first. Nice beginning and congrats to you.

I'm not sure that Skip feels that he got "too much support". He said he "likes all the support". And if there is such as thing, I'd rather err on the side of "too much" as opposed to "too little" support.

And I'm not so sure there's any such thing as "the exact right" PV, or choice. I think his was "fine", but I also think that when he goes back to LJ's, talks again with Jake, and buys a VV eGo battery, he'll come to the conclusion that the vape is generally better with VV than it is with CV. It doesn't seem logical to me that he'd think it was worse.

And I think a VV eGo is plenty simple compared to a CV eGo. One has a knob on the bottom for adjusting the voltage, and the other doesn't. If anyone wants to "become a pro" at CV, they can always just set a VV to a certain voltage and leave it there.

I'm still not understanding the resistance to the idea of letting a beginner enjoy the clear advantages of VV right from the start. If a polite and compelling case can be made for a CV eGo battery over a VV eGo battery, I'd welcome it.

John there probably isn't but as Lee put it Loosely
if you got that you wouldn't really know what you are doing, what it could do or appreciate it when you did get one.
My first car was a old beat up Valiant. if I started with a Caddy I probably would not appreciate it as much.
I do value your opinion

I wouldn't compare the difference between a VV eGo and a CV eGo to the difference between a beat-up Valiant and a Cadillac. I think you'd see what I mean if you had both a Joyetech eGo-T and a Joyetech eGo-C Twist battery in your hands. They look virtually identical - though the Twist will be about an inch longer, mah ratings being equal - except the Twist will have a little dial on the bottom.

As for "not knowing what you're doing"; again, all you do is turn the knob until you like the vape. Turn it to the right for more heat, turn it to the left for less. I think you would quickly see what it can do, and would immediately appreciate it. I also think you'll see much better what I mean when you try it for yourself, and I wish that Jake had demonstrated one for you.

I appreciate the feedback, but I didn't hear anything that's going to make me recommend a CV eGo battery over a VV eGo battery for any reason.
