One sort of "con" ive found switching to cotton is that Im getting minor liquid "spitting" I have only occasionally got that in the past when I was learning the rebuilding thing. I cant figure out if its from over saturation, coils being too loose or tight?

Has anyone ever found the reason for the spitting? Im sure its something overcome.

Try to make the coils very close to each other. I think spitting would be reduced.

V2 was longer a bit. But in a future batch I got a V2 with the short one. So I don't think it is a rule.
Yikes, mine is kinda too short for my liking. Yet I don't really want to apply the ithaka tele.
Gotta find out before i make the purchase tho.

Thanks, was just about to set up a couple. I will try this out.
Try to squeeze the coils together when you wrap on the screw driver, it usually keep the coils neat yet not touching each other like micro coils.

you decided to go with a solid post Its?
Here while I start working on my new TS platoon.
I made new CT center post from UFS center post.
Cut the brass post to the length I wanted, made the slot in the middle, polish the top end,and
It turn just the way I like.
Work great for the new Ody GGTS base.

Yes this screws are some that I had.
took the spring in one,and for the othere I did not had,it's not in stock.

I found some use to the other silver plated screws that I had.

It's work ok,later when there will be springs again,I will buy some.

So Its you finally got a TS? LOL. Good for you. What are the dimensions of the screws you are using. I know they are M5 but what is the length of the threaded part and the head? I got some sunken head screws which were 8mm (with the head since it is sunken) I am wonder if i can fit longer for more stability.

I had to get some of those milestones, couldnt resist.
and I'm not done yet,I like the picture of your collection, and the mixes runing there,
and the names...;)

anyway sizes...
I'll have to check later when I be back at home.

but they fit snug alright, almost as if they were made for it.
I had spares of some greek mod ;) that I dont use ,can't remamber
if they are the lower post or the upper,I think the lower that seat
on the switch side.

yes, its exactly the same Its. Solid contacts are better because they dont have a hole like axis has, but silver ones dont add anything on conductivity, they just make it worse. Better add something that is copper
I thought it's the same Imeo.
if we close telescope All the way,we make solid contact the same,
Or is it not?

thanks Imeo.

I know the same, but its the only good fit I had in stock, and they come like so.

didn't look for this paticulary.

I had some brass but they did not fit good.
maybe I'll give them good polish with micromech (#3000 #6000 and then #12000) on top
and with power brush on threads.

this way I'll remove the silver coat before it make oxidation reaction with the brass,

in the end of the week, when I'll have time, hope all the rest TS's will arrive by then,so I prepare
screws like so for all,I have enough of them for all that come in this SS TS wave :)

yes, better sand it and shine it Its for the best connection.

Are you waiting more TS to come???

only 1 more and 1 stealth that I'll transform to full TS (I have the CT for it also coming) and 1 REV1.
and some more parts envalops from Vasilis.
thats will close 4 SS TS for the Inox side, and the rev 1 will be extra (or maybe I'll use it)

the last and real problem is that I need 4 full brass TS.
to raise My Golden Greek full chess banner.

every time I think I get closer I discover I'm missing more.

I will try to do my best on making parts Its so you will be able to make your collection exactly as you like.

Your chess is already wonderful but people with dreams want always more!

no press from me Imeo.
I already thank you for all the extras you did.:thumb:
I have all I need and even more,
dreams are fun even if the stay just dreams :)

I enjoy the way almost same as getting the goal.
if all this contribute to more parts avaibilty,
for all GG comunity members then its the best as we all win something.
