There are fan boys for everything. Why has the ProVari been singled out? I guess because it is the most expensive mod that most people can obtain readily?

I don't see many posts recommending a Caravela or iHy so I see the point. I guess I just got in at the "red headed step-child" level. A ProVari is expensive enough that not everyone is going to spring for it but not expensive or elite enough that only the high end owners will have one. So I get put into a "group" of PV owners that is too cool for the noobs but not cool enough for the elite. Seems fair.

If you can easily obtain an expensive unit then you are a tool for owning and recommending it but as long as you have to get on a list to get it then it is all good. Does that pretty much sum it up?

yea pretty much, but 40 pages in two days should tell ya something about those that just can't save enough pennies to get one

Anyone hating on the provari is probably just jealous. I could afford a provari, but i chose to makeup for my lack of fancy pants mods with fancy RBA's.

Coming from an incredibly jealous, vamo owner.
Coming from another Vamo and Provari owner...I went the opposite route. Bought the cheap RBA's and splurged on (if you can call it that, I bought used) a V1 ProVari. I have no regrets at all.

...Well except for the fact that I have to send the Vamo to my cousin next week, and I can't afford to console myself with a Provari Mini.

Chart needs to be updated IMO its on the low side even for someone who likes a cooler vape.
That's what I keep saying. There was another chart that was better, and I'm not sure how this one has become more popular.

EDIT: Found the old chart

I was being facetious. I already know the aforementioned combo would not work. Provari includes their safety feature on purpose. They even state a coil can catch fire if pushed too far. If the cut-off wasn't necessary, I'm quite sure they wouldn't go through the trouble to include it.

Edit: I usually stay about in the middle to slightly higher in the green zone. It seems to work well with fruit and citrus juices, which are the juices I prefer.

Has anyone seen how far into the red 18 watts with a 1 ohm coil would be on the Safe Vaping Power Chart? No you haven't, because it's off the chart!

This is how I feel about the Provari. Note that I don't own one yet, but am saving for one.
Yes, a vw feature would be nice.
Yes, it only has one button.
No, it doesn't allow computer upgrades.
No, it won't give the 7 day forecast.
No, it will not receive text messages.
Yes, having a different color costs more.
Yes, it can be dropped and not shatter into pieces, as I have seen demonstrated on u-tube.
Yes, they have the best warranty. Cheap devices have a 3 month warranty at best, and I'm wondering how easy it is to have that warranty honored.
Yes, it can be repaired outside warranty. Name a single Chinese device that will do that.
No, it really doesn't cost that much. (I paid $7/PAD for cigarettes willingly) There's other high quality mod's that cost as much, or more.

Looks like we established the fact that Provari is designed for mainstream vapers

Sure the provari is for mainstream vapors these days, but thats only because other mods are catching up in allure. Now the PROVARI, (with GREEN or BLUE LED screen and PAINTED body) now THATS a mod for the connoisseurs.

If ECF was a RPG, that mod would fall under the category of "Rare legendary artifact," the fact that it's made from unobtainium doesn't hurt either. Hopefully they will start getting the green leds in larger quantities soon.

The unobtainium is always out of stock!

I think that chart only applies to atty's and cartos...
Not truly relevant to rebuildables, due to the cooling affect that the larger air chamber has.
I wrap a 1.1 ohm coil in my geni tank for a cool vape on an unregulated mod.
according to these charts, i'm borderline nuclear... but my vape is a cool flavourful vape.
**my personal preference**

And this is where my post ties in with ProVari users.

As a vaper who prefers a Geni-style tank, I am unable to properly use a ProVari To reach my desired heat level.
So i tend to lean on to the mechanical side of the argument. Someone may come along with a different opinion, then BOOM never-ending debate that escalates to random people dropping in with "omg elitist" & "stop drinking the cool-aid" posts. and it all goes to .... form there.

So when threads keep popping up and a provari is mentioned, everyone is at each others throats, because we all think that we have the best vaping setup.
The problem on these forums for BOTH sides of the fence, is that we are unable to accept that what works for us, may not be what works for others.

Solution:
Stop preaching and state what your opinion really is, just an opinion!

As to the OP question, did we get that resolved?
Did we get a picture of the Chupacabra?
Does Bigfoot take pictures of "provari hate"?

As far as I know there is no such thing as "provari hate" but maybe there's some evidence around for it. Anyone got a grainy photo to inspect? Someone good with photochop can make one?

The best reason for staying within safe limits is the possible production of acrolein. It's a lung damaging compound produced from VG at very high temps. The lower I stay in the range even with 80pg/20vg juices the safer I feel.
