Mom's are like that, especially given the fact a few of us are friends of bill. I had 2 friends recently give me the same bs spiel, both ex smokers. "Those things are bad for you, just man up and quit like I did". I just smile, take a deep draw and exhale knowing I'm feeling better and like the path I'm on.

Yes, I really think they're just jealous that they had to suffer the traditional way, and we're all escaping 90%-99% of the pangs. I've tried it 4 times, I know how it feels! This way is MUCH better, and I guess I can't really blame them for being jealous. If someone came up with that stuff they served on the Enterprise, "synthehol" and alkies could drink that to evade the worst pangs of getting sober, I might be a little jealous myself. :D I used to fantasize about crap like that when I first got sober. ;)

She'll get over it. My husband always asks me, "why do you care what ignorant people think?" And he's right of course -- except that some of those ignorami are trying to make it hard for us!

But, she's really happy that I've quit smoking, and is still honoring that promise of hers that if i make it to the end of March, she'll give me $100. I really don't see any problem at all with that, if these #$^$% clearos and coils would BEHAVE!

Frankly I can't even imagine what pipettes would be used for. Already planning to get one of those Luer Lock syringes and some 14ga blunt needles; I've got a bunch of needle-top bottles, but they're so cheaply made that if I squeeze too hard, the liquid oozes out around the cap. So I think the syringe is a better bet. Found some good prices on those luer lock items online.

I'm looking at MFS prices, and I think I could get all the rest of what I need for around $20-$25, and it would make enough that I wouldn't have to worry about running out for a LOOOOOOOOOOng time! :D

Already got the state refund, which is what bought my eRoll; won't get the fed back till May, because of my defaulted student loan and that idiot "Injured Spouse Form" -- since I don't work, they can't legally take any of my husband's money for the debt, but they always try, if we don't file that stupid form -- which takes 12 wks to process. :grr:

Check out wizard labs, good prices on nic and mixing hardware

Ok, since I'm using the ARO tonight, can someone tell me now before it gets any lower, what the tolerance is on this thing, for emptiness? I want to get it refilled before it starts to do anything weird!!! :D It's about half full at the moment.

Thx much!!

I have a good neighbor who started the same week I did. He gave me a pill bottle of everclear to drop my dirty coils in. He knows my history and asked if that would be okay having around. I told him that after 17 years, it was never about the alcohol. Smokes are entirely different monkey. As most, I've tried several times. Patches, gum, cold turkey. Hell, I even smoked with the highest nic patch available. Nothing took. I am embarrassed to say this is easy...scary easy. So right now I'm not changing nic level, routine or asking questions for 90 days.

Kanger tank correct?
I still use kanger tanks occasionally but there is a design flaw in them. I'm not going at the normal complaints. It's the cup that holds the coil. The coil sits close to the cup and is cooled by the juice. So beings it is hard to vape them to the bottom (leaking or burnt taste) you need to fill them with one or so ml left. The problem is beings your juice is cooling the coil housing it tends to turn your juice darker basically because it is getting cooked. So even when you top it back up, your adding juice to semi burnt juice. It kinda pisses me off. Your two options are to dump 1ml or so every tank or add more juice to the burnt juice. Anyone else ever notice this or am I on a senior moment tangent. I'm putting that damn soap box away for the night.

Yer not alone. Sticking with the itaste 30. Not a fan of kanger. I have a PT3 that I hate. I find it leaky (could be a fluke) and too airy as well. YMMV

No, it's an ARO... Smoktech I think.

And I've noticed something tonight since I started using the ARO... this thing seems a LOT better made, than the T3S... the screw threads, both for removing the tank, and then also for removing the base to fill... those things are machined PERFECTLY... it's smooth as silk... there was a lot of, well, bumping and grinding with the T3S! Like they were only half-assed machined, or had no QC to make SURE the threads were properly machined.

Is that accurate? Would I see better quality also in the non-pyrex Smoktech clearos? I'm looking at different ones, but frankly don't know enough about them to really be able to make an educated choice.

Anyway, not long after I posted that msg about the emptiness, it did start that gurgling business, so I refilled it. No big; no leaking, no icky taste, no weirdness when I put it back together. *whew*

Andria

PS: I think you might be right about the T3S... it was getting low when I noticed that awful taste. So I guess I'll take that coil off the base, and put on the new coil -- wish me luck! Not sure what the deal is with the new one I got today, but there was a bunch of juice in the iTaste, which I got out just as soon as I noticed the thing gurgling for no apparent reason -- it was nearly full, it should not have been doing that, so I knew there was a problem, and sure enough, ejuice down in the area where the tank connects to the battery. I swabbed it out with a pipe cleaner several times. So I still need to get another regular (non-pyrex) clearo, since that one is a leaker, which is why I was asking about Smoktech's regular clearos.

Yeah, I tried smoking when I had on a patch... I felt a similar way when I tried the 18mg and 12mg nic levels... I'm sure I was green. I'm really not embarrassed by how easy this is, I am GRATEFUL. I really had given up, and figured I'd smoke as long as I had breath -- in fact I once told my husband that before they shut my coffin to wheel me into the incinerator, to put a cigarette between my lips, so I could have one last smoke. :D Guess that won't be necessary now. :thumb:

Your leak could just be a loose coil. Sometimes they ship loose, sometimes they come loose when you open them up to fill. Then they leak down onto the battery.

Haven't used any of the other Smoke clearos, so can't say...

Well, remember my panic, the night I first got the T3S, when it wouldn't work because I didn't know I was supposed to tighten that post back up, before putting it back on the tank? I always check that now, and use *fingertip pressure* to make sure it's as tight as it will EASILY go -- I dont force it past that point. It's snug, not tight. The first one I got, I haven't seen a single leak from; this one, almost the first time I've used it, leaked. That has to say *something*.

Andria Clearomizers all tend to be a bit hit or miss. When you get a good one with a good coil they are marvelous otherwise leaking is common. It can happen with any brand or model. As you get a bit more experience you will know better how to correct the issues and when it is time to just give up on one.

Basically the quality control doesn't exist. Sounds like a bad coil. I'm pretty sure another coil would fix it but that does you no good since you don't have another.

Hey Myr! I knew there was someone missing around here! Where ya been? Welcome to the perils of coils and clearos! heheheh... I gotta get these dang dishes done, they STILL haven't learned how to jump into the dishwasher all by themselves! That's so I have room to work on these silly things, because right now the dinner dishes are still all over the counter. Pft! Yeah I know, slovenly, but it's hard to think of housework when your vaping stuff is freaking out...

But I'm still here, peeking in... :D Won't take long.

Yup, sorry. It's NIC15  found it on the steals and deals thread y'all sent me to. :p

I ordered 125 ml of 60 mg nic. Not sure if I'll start DIY right away, but I'll feel a bit more secure knowing I have a little nic stash in the freezer.
