The problem is that she doesn't use the internet, so I am wondering what to recommend.

White Cloud seems to have A LOT of stores around. Their disposables are much cheaper (and much better) than NJoys. And their e-cig kits are more expensive than what can be found on the internet but still much cheaper than analogs.

Does anyone here have any "inside" info on when we might get "View First Unread" back? Going to the last page and paging back from there is getting old really fast

I use FireFox and have 50-60 tabs up (with 8-10 ECF threads I'm following) most of the time. Get to the end of a thread => Reload => up and running again.

When my Dutch ancestors came here, they didn't worry about learning English (an easy transition anyway), because they stayed to themselves for generations. Of course, that was in the early 1600's. LOL!

I am having trouble when I refresh or when I have posted. My server can't connect to ECF. I am wondering if they have installed some kind of funnel to prevent the board from being overwhelmed with the traffic.

Have you read this, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/site-feedback-help/535932-back-online.html#post12432276.

Hitting F5 on your keyboard refreshes the page too, but maybe it does it differently, so it doesn't knock you off. I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe I missed a way to fix that. I also have trouble when I post, with it putting me back on page of the thread, I click the back arrow to get me back to where I was. Nevermind the last part. I clicked the back arrow and it took me to the 1st page. :(

That's wonderful to know, because of course that's what I was after, the perfect vape so I can quit spending money on new toys!

The hardest part of my vaping journey has been to stop buying new vaping toys. I beat the smoking addiction a long time ago now :) BUT beating the PV buying addiction is still a work in process :D

I was at a vape meet at my local vape store last night and it wasn't easy to come home without a new PV when I spent the evening sitting beside the display counter filled with PV's that kept calling my name to take them home. I kept looking at the Reo in my hand and reminding myself that when I bought the Reo in January I'd promised myself no new PV's until at least July. Proud to say I walked out with only buying some 30 ga wire. :D

Who got up this morning and re-built coils for Protank Mini/Evod? This girl!! :D I know there's a couple girls here who are wanting to learn. Below is a link to the method I used. I wrote the steps down in my notebook for reference as I watched the video. As a note, I didn't have 3mm silica, just 2mm, but that works fine. I used the 32 guage wire and on the two coils I made I got 1.5 ohms and 1.6 on the other, using 4 wraps on top. I did not put in a flavor wick, and so far no problems at all :thumb: I think that using the long straight pin is brilliant. Really cuts down on the fumbling.

Hope this helps!

Well, I'm *very* happy to report that my smoke-free days hit double-digits today, 10 days! woohoo! :headbang:

When I hit triple-digits, I will be past the previous time smoke-free I ever... well, enjoyed isn't really the right word, because that time was cold-turkey, and I didn't enjoy ANY of it! Anyway, when I hit triple-digits, I will be past my previous 3-month record of staying smoke-free. Somehow, this time I don't really think there will be any issues.

Woohoo!

Thanks, MisKate, I'll go take a peek. Anything like this really helps me, appreciate it. I did take the chimneys and wicks off of my Aro2's yesterday and soaked them. Didn't need new coils though. I only put 1 flavor wick on top when I put them back together. Wow, what a difference in taste!! My poor taste buds aren't quite as bad as I thought they were! Only have 1 chimney that I can't get back on out of 5, so not too bad. Progress anyway!

Those two coils I rebuilt were ones that I had cleaned and dry-burned previously, and I thought they were set to go because the coils & wicks looked clean. But guess what? When I pulled the bottom piece and rubber insulators out in order to remove the old coils, you should have seen the bottom side of them!! Black and icky! I don't know...maybe I didn't clean them well enough. I just used hot water soak, no alcohol or anything. But now I'm glad that I went ahead and just re-made them. They are working swell!

I think this must be a new symptom of quitting smoking... Did you guys ever notice, tap water has a SMELL??? Geez it smells like bleach!! Never noticed THAT before!

Andria
Yes, I have. And, water smells different depending on where you are. Some smells like bleach. Some smells metallic. Some smells like sulfur. It depends on where you live.

um mines working
I just click that little teesy arrow by the thread and it takes me to the page of the last post I read
That's not much help when you have 40 posts per page. I want my 'View First Unread Post' button to work!!!

Hi all!

Does anyone have a Lava Tube type device? Or a link to the operations of such a device? I'd kinda like to know how to use my backup.

Deb-NCPatches
These are the instrucions I found when I was looking for instructions for my Lambo (I think it's a LT 1.5):

Press the large Activation button 5 times to display atomizer resistance. - Does Not Work!
Hold the red Power button for 5 seconds to turn device on/off.
Press the red Power button 6 times to display battery voltage
Hold both "+" and "-" at the same time for 5 seconds to disable, locking the device onto the current voltage.

The instructions for checking atomizer resistance don't work because the earlier versions of the LT didn't do that. Only the later versions check atomizer resistance.

Thanks Dancing. As soon as I get the batteries and charger, I'm gonna play with it and figure it out.

oh - I know what you mean. Our local B&M opened a larger 2nd store. The opening was Saturday and he had some nice new PV's that were tempting. Got out w/ just a couple new drip tips.

all right! Nice! :toast:

Trying to find something....the Kayfun clone I got has a screw-in tip (mouthpiece). If I wanted to use a "push in" type, where would I get the necessary adapter, and what is it called? Hope my question makes sense.

Look in your spare parts bag that came with it. The 'real' Kayfun comes w/ a drip tip adapter and a lot of the clones do also.

Unfortunately the only spare parts I got were the tiny screwdriver and a premade "coil" that I won't use. I know that such a thing exists because I've seen it in videos. Maybe I don't know what its official part name is. I'm looking on Fasttech and so far I don't find it. It's not a huge deal, but would like to pick one up. I really like this atomizer. Not nuts about it's mouthpiece, but it is useable. Thanks!

Nevermind!! Found the adapter in a bag of spare parts on Fasttech. Thanks anyway :)
