I was looking in the Model Specific forum a little while ago. I wanted to see if anyone was still using 801s. I have a bunch of old 801 gear that I'ld like to give to someone who might use it.

The subforums for the 510, 401, 901, 4075, 201, 801, 4072, 4081, and 306 only have closed threads in them. Closed because they haven't been posted in for so long.

The only subforums left open are eGo models, e-cigar models, e-pipe models, KR8088D-1, eRoll, Blu, Disposables, and Vuse. Not even the 510 subforum?!

It feels kind of weird to see all those models fading into oblivion. Of course, the 510 and 306 are still with us. The atomizers are anyway, just not the batteries that they were originally designed for.

And, as usual I'm not willing to let go of things until they're so outdated that I can't even give them away.

So have I, DH.......I was given quite a bit of 801 old gear from a friend/dealer, and I'd like to give it away, also. Even though I've found some local folks who were able to use some, I still have a lot I'd like to give away! Those I gave it away to have since moved on to other devices.

I tend to think that the problem is over-reported.

I'm just reporting my own experience.

Agreed. After using tanks for quite a while, only had one get glazed, none cracked. I was vaping a pre-mix cinnamon variant in it.

None of my DIY fruits or berries have caused any cracking/glazing issues. I even mix a Cabella Green Apple Pie which has an undertone of cinnamon. Maybe I've just been fortunate.

BTW, several of my tanks have been in use for over two years. Presently only using one in that I'm 'converting' over Nautili/BVCs.

Yep. After fiddling around with my Nautilus for a couple of weeks I ended up ordering two more Davides, to go with the two that I have already. Of course getting more is still the only way I've figured out to replace the itty bitty o-rings that go on the center tube. Though I haven't lost any lately since I started to only disassemble the Davides over a very fine strainer. So I may have wrecked that excuse for buying more.

Ah, but do you have ALL the different colors?

I cracked the tanks on a couple Vivi Novas back in the day using some of the citrus juices from Pink Spot, not sure what they used for a tank material a couple years ago.

Not sure either but, some of them sure felt cheap.

I personally have an Infinite clone :)

Any chance you could tell me where you got that one or direct me towards a site that sells one that looks the same ?
seen a couple of different looking ones , may not make any difference but just in case.
Thanks

The one I bought is this one here:
FastTech Kayfun Lite Plus V2
It doesn't say on the page anywhere, but it's actually made by Infinite (actually, it's really made by SXK, but marketed by Infinite). I got it both because it was highly rated, and also because it came with the nano kit, and I thought I wanted the nano kit. However, this would not be my top recommendation. It worked OK out of the box, but the juice channels were a little shallow, and it only had one tiny airhole, so the draw was tight out of the box. Also, I ended up not using the nano kit much, because it just doesn't hold enough juice for a day. What I would get today if I was buying another Kayfun Lite clone would be this:
Fluid Vapes EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus V2 with Dual Airflow
Use code 'pegasus' at checkout for 5% off. I would get this one because it seems to be better out of the box than the one I got, and is only a few dollars more. Plus, I've ordered from Fluid Vapes twice so far, and the items arrive after 3 or 4 days instead of 2 weeks to a month.

Thanks PapaSloth. Ok I will put down the dual airflow as the one to get.

I got one on his recommendation. I love it I also have 3 originals. I like the EH Pro every bit as well in some ways better. The draw is a little tighter but it seems to be loosening up if that is possible. I would definitely get another from fluid vapes. Plus it comes with a screwdriver and an M tank. The original is $70 more and doesn't.

Bought the exact same from Fluid Vapes on recommendation from Papasloth and love it. One thing to note, when you get it look through the two air holes after backing out the air adjustment screws. You should see light all the way through. If not you need to adjust the center pin until you do. On mine it was about 1/8th turn. Make sure you hold the postive block on the build deck so it doesn't move and cause a short. Please don't let this scare you off, it's really easy to do. Fairly common on all V2 models with two air holes

I just couldn't resist! I didn't even know they had Blems. Other than that, you can only find them at dealers and the closest is in the San Francisco aria I'm not gettin down there any time soon.
The only thing that I can find wrong with it is that they used a different sight glass for the display and it isn't quite flush like my V2 mini. The window also magnifies the display and the red is easy to read. My v2 has blue. This one is a 2.5 model.
