I haven't seen any frosted look in the ce4's yet. I don't think I have had any of the usual suspect liquids in them or if i have was for a short time.

Kind of given up on the ce5's as she likes the ce4's and I'm on the nautilus and soon kayfun light clone.
The ce5's leak from the bottom onto the batteries connector. One battery has a spring connector and it got stuck down by liquid and then when she screwed it onto the charger the top part came of the battery , so i tossed it.

I'm dealing with a person that brings certain traits that are not normal to the party or meaningless.
such as I got her some new ce4's and some have 4-6 string things hanging down from the core and her original ones have just two.
So that being different she questions are they as good.
Got to made by smok that are all silver and because they look different she questions them.

Maybe the head, atop the air tube, is loose? IIRC, the typical CE5 is replaceable head, and they can come loose. Couple that with laying it sideways - or even the tilt, swirl and vape that top coils often need - and it could be leaking there...

Now, now, we ALL have certain traits that aren't normal  I agree with Papa, the ones with 4 wicks are twice as good, the ones with 6 are three times as good!

I'm holding out for the 500 watt version, you know, for when 260 watts just isn't enough. Actually, the tiny power button is forgivable on my $75 Cloupor DNA 30 mods, but the identical power button on this $189 mod is not forgivable:

Variant Styled 250 Watt Box Mod PREORDER by PSMOKE - Vapor Tek USA

I never even use 20 watts but am considering the dual-18650 Sigelei 100 watt box mod. From the pictures, the power button looks very comfortable.

Nothing like dripping on an incancdescent light bulb...

I did notice they don't say how low it will go, what increments the power steps are... although at 250 watts, you're probably past "steps" anyway, since through all those clouds you'll not see them, trip and fall...

And I used to be mildly amused in the New Members forum when someone would question that the bottom of their topper was getting warm at 8 or 10 watts...

"Help, I think there's something wrong! My 0.00001 Ω hex coil dripper is glowing red, am I doing something wrong? And I have to hold my Variant-clone with an oven mitt!"

Real pros use the safety towel. I won't post the De Jay video, because this whole thread would get moved to Not Advisable.

Wolf, try the Aspire K1 for your Mom. It's about the same size as the ce4 & 5, but a glass tank & they use a bvc coil like the 2 Nautilus tanks but it's a smaller coil. I have 4 of those in rotation with different juices. Love 'em!

Interesting - Looks like the bvc coils that fit the ce5 may fit that.

You do know that because the aspire ce5's leak then all aspire products are bad.
Still I'll look into those

Thanks Matt.

Used to find the vaping getting lesser sometimes and I would be wondering what was going on and then i push the button and its orange and I catch on.

Always knew you where a quick study! :) You are definitely studying up. Soon it will be you answering the questions.

Looking for something new that I like. Watch this space for new wit, halfwit, nitwit...

Just reading this, I'm thinking bratwurst, beer, and those big German pretzels with the mustard on them. Maybe sauerkraut. I think I'd be disappointed if I looked at the actual flavors now :)

Any of those would be almost as bad as crab juice as far as I am concerned. Could eat most of them but not vape them.

It is coming up on thanksgiving. Needed something to cook the turkey with.

Too damn funny and unfortunately too true! :)

It's the help button from Staples! :)

...
dating myself here, but it's the EASY button from Staples.
"That was Easy!"
:)

well... not really a whole lot of the savory ones, but there are a very few uniquely German flavors.. mostly tobacco ones.

definitely a German site too. been a few years since I read any germanglish

"Before a Liquid in German Flavours is ready for the market, it has already must pass a variety of tests and tastings successfully, to meet our demands. We refer only quality raw materials for our Liquids."

been used to reading chinglish lately. :D

Is stealth vaping an issue ?

Is the small size the reason the istick is selling ?

Iffy wrote a nauseating lovesick post about his iStick, perhaps he can dredge that one up again. ;) Kicked all his other stuff to the curb. Well buried, even google can't find it. Tomorrow I finally get to see mine. :D

I have ordered one and going to see if mum likes it. She currently uses an ego-t 1100mah. She found my aspire 1600mah to big.
She's still at that stage of trying to match the size with anologs. She seems to be ok with the ego-c 1300mah i got her.

She is still liking the ce4 my nautilus 5ml was too big , perhaps one day a nautilus mini or similar but she also seems to like the disposable rather than putting in a new coil.

Also got some ce5 clears and they do leak from the bottom. Tried every which way and still get gurgling and leaking often.

Some liquids can be harsh on her throat and she likes this menthol. I'm thinking maybe she doesn't need the 2.4% because when she tries it on my nautilus or sometimes with a new clearo ( she used her first ce4's for 2 months ) its stronger. Well there just working better.

Also some liquids have the odd taste to them they don't taste as clean as her fav company at the moment although she has shown interest in other liquids.
I was waiting for her to get her new ce4's and now she has she's put in her fav juices , nicquid smoothal and daybreak.

Eventually I may get her to like others , have quite a few here and the daybreak seems to be their version on ry4 and I have similar ones here from heathers and itc and nicoticket.

A thing on the size of the PV to consider. I have small hands and I also have arthritis. Smaller PVs in general are just less painful for me to grip and use. It could be a factor for your mom.

VaperTek has some new German flavorings.
Scroll down below Kevin's statement, and you'll find them

GERMAN FLAVOURS - Vapers Tek

That was disappointing, no sauerkraut, bockwurst, wiener schnitzel, moldy cheese or even pfannkuchen. Thanks for the link, will be fun to look through. Guess I've been around to many Germans, don't even notice the Germanglish.

You didn't notice... "Flavorings with diacetyl or related diketones therefore not used in our products are used."
