Okay - New Porch Design. Since we are virtually connected and we are also an internationally developed group then our Porch should also be virtually located - Now it is just up to Mike to make it work... :D

If Iffy put up a prize for the 15,000th post, we could knock it out in an hour.

OK, da 15,000th post here will receive their choice of either my ol' well used wind sock (Been promoted recently. I'm keeping my 'bag' fer a while, thank you!) or a mech PV!

Folks would we recommend for DIY- storing nic and flavourings well add the pg and Vg in as well

In the fridge ? Keeping in mind if the temp ( So hope it does not) can get 100 F - 113 F.

Fans and such are usually on me and me stuff is in the cupboards and non working fridge currently - Which are not the computer or tv so most the time not next to me.

How do these ingredients go at these temps ?

Do you have a root cellar? That would be ideal. They should do ok but, I can't really say one way or the other. I keep mine in a cool, dark kitchen cabinet in an air conditioned house. I am of the school that if God wanted us to sweat He wouldn't have allowed us to invent air conditioning.

No change since then..

It's the postal service. They're swamped this time of year. It's probably still moving, just the tracking hasn't caught up yet. Of course I am an optimist. :)

Well I guess when I get the V4 tomorrow I'll be able to get down and dirty with it right away. I understand it comes with the SS center section installed and I want the glass section soooooo I have watch Busardos video about 4 times putting up with his egotistical way. It is the best one I have found for getting at all the parts and getting it together right. The one thing I'm not sure of is when I rewick I always wash the deck and coil. Trying to figure out if I have to take the air chamber apart to dry it or if there is a little moisture left in there will it make a difference. There are 4 air holes plus the chamber that the juice flows into. It's not that difficult to take the bottom section with the build deck completely apart but would rather not if I don't have to.
I just blow mine off after rinsing. No worries there. juice gets down in there a little and it doesn't hurt anything!

Cool you took the big plunge too. How do you like it..
I like it! Like all new atty's there is a bit of a learning curve. Mostly amount of cotton and how long to make the tails, how you push them down and place them on the deck. I've had it for three days now and I'm getting use to it. Keep in mind, I stopped using KFLs and have been on a TaifunGT thing for a while. Then I got the Erlk and played with that so I'm a little rusty with any Kayfun!:)

Busardo shows cutting the tails at about the width of the Provari then just tuck it down not really hard and keeping it away from the sides of the chimney. I've hear that you don't want to make it really tight against the juice holes. That is sort of the way I do my KFL's. He sort of fluffed it ou and if it sticks up a little over the top of the bottom chimney section no prob just so it is where it can pick up the juice from the holes.
