Thanks I'm sure it will have a learning curve just like the KFL's did when I started with them. I use cellucotton and by the looks of it it doesn't fluff up quite as good. I'm going to have to watch some more videos. Theres a lot not in English though.
It should work fine. Cellucotton is fluffy till you wet it down. You just don't want it shaped like a wick. The K4 Guru wicks the other way. He sets the wick up and wets it down before he puts the chamber ring on??? I never liked doing it that way. I alway seem to screw up the wick while screwing on the ring.
Here's my current build. You can see how much cottons in there and how full the chamber is.

I do like the K4 but for as big as it is, it doent hold much juice. I fill my Taifuns once a day but fill the K4 2-3 times a day. Looks cool. I like the top fill a lot and the ability to shut off the juice flow. Also getting to the build deck like the Taifun is a plus for sure. I don't remember how many times I had to use a syringe to suck out juice to work on the KFLs.

Read about some people trimming the ends of the wicks - My ends at the time were all puffed up and not the easiest thing to do.

Have the ends thinner than the rest.

Nobody warned you about wicking with the afro cotton?

I see Australia isn't immune from terror threats once again. I hope every ends well for the hostages, not so much for the terrorist(s).
