'Morning all! Won't say 'good' since that's all a matter of opinion.

So I'm set on the Zmax, another question for you great peeps that have been so helpful. (see how I butter ya up?)

If I was wanting to throw in a mech mod clone, not to use any time soon, but just to have when I have the knowledge to use it properly, what do you think would be a good place to start? Any particular clone that you think might be noob friendly? I really want to have 1 or 2, with batteries, put back, just in case the SHTF. :) I am serious about not letting anything interfere with my vaping.

I've only got a couple low end Sigelei 19's and a high end Super-T Simplicity. Stay away from the 19's. I got these cheap to see if I like mech mods. After a lot of fiddling and mod'ing the switches they work OK. The Simplicity is a joy and has made me a mech mod convert. I really like it's size (only 20mm in diameter), looks, build quality and it vapes oh so well.

I've heard a lot of good things about the H-Cigar clones like the Templar, Nemisis, Chi-you. I'd probably be looking at one of these if I could get over my resistance to buying a clone. It would be easier for me to buy a clone if they just copied the form and function. It annoys me no end that they even 'clone' the originals name and logos on the copies. But that's 'me' I can certainly understand buying a well built clone for 1/2 to 1/3 the price of an original.

I will.. and I'm sure I'll have a bajillion questions, so I better go subscribe to that forum, too! (Now that I know how! :D )

I smoked my last cigarette this morning, I am determined on that. I even took a picture of the stubbed-out ...., so I can always remember how filthynastyYUCKY those things are! (the ashes in the ashtray!) When I smoked the 2nd half of yesterday's, last night, it tasted so foul it nearly gagged me, so this morning, I went ahead and smoked the whole thing. What the hell -- that is OVER!

That's the way to do it! My last smoking day, I had my last 3 with my coffee and decided I was not going to buy any more. And here I am, almost 3 months in.:toast:

Believe me, I'd love to be able to buy the 'real deal', but that won't happen any time soon.

As I've said, I just want to have them, just in case. But I agree with you on the 'form and function' seems crazy to copy the other stuff, like nonexistent serial numbers. SMH

Whoohoo - good for you! You can do it.

The only time I stopped smoking for any length of time was when the company I worked for offered the Smoke-Enders program for free. One of the techniques was to save all our butts for a month in a jar. i kept that jar around for a long time - good grief - it smelled so rank. When I though of lighting up, I opened that sucker took a wiff - and went about my business w/o lighting up.

I think all I'll really need to do is open the truck door and stick my head in... smoked in there for the last 2 yrs since we bought it... it's gonna stink in there for a WHILE!!! :D God, I'm glad I quit smoking in the house so long ago, none of that smell in here, thank GOD.

And hey guess what.... VAPEMAIL'S HERE!!!! :D I found the Busardo video for the iTaste vv3 on YouTube, so I'm off to learn how to use this here gizmo... it's smaller than I thought it would be... YAY!! :D :D :D

yep I did the thread tools thing to subscribe but um then how do you USE it?

I log in and still have to hunt down the thread.

If you're on a windows pc or laptop then go to the "whats new" and open that and the top will say "my posts" that is where all your posts are at that you are in.

Looks like this on the left hand side newposts.jpg

No - I ordered it w/ 12mg/nic and 50/50 PG/VG.

As to the Cappuccino from High Desert - been vaping that this morning and it's a decent coffee flavor. Not as impressed w/ it as the Orange Dream Bar. I like it - it has a definite coffee flavor. Janet detects a hint of chocolate. Will probably get another bottle (only bought a 10ml bottle) for a change up flav and something to compare some DIYing against - using the 'unvapeable straight up' Capella's flavoring. The flavoring is pretty clear so perhaps I can get Janet to make a 'not dark' coffee flavor.

Mike, I had a friend who made me the most delicious coffee recipe which had clear coffee in it. Maybe Janet can use this.

FA Tiramisu 8%
TPA Sweet Cream 1%
TPA Clear Coffee 1%

12 mg....70/30

Good morning, folks:) I feel like I'm kind of boring. Still vaping my tanked fusions and liking the Aspires.

Nothing wrong with that setup. The Aspire is a good tank IMO. If you have something that you like, don't change it. If it aint broke, don't fix it. I'm using the Aspire BDC Maxi. I like the look of it on my e-pipes. All my mods are epipes because I like the feel of them in the hand but they don't have alot of frills to them. I like them and that's all that matters!! :toast:

Get some Ozium. The regular kind, not the one that boasts "new car smell". That one made me sick to my stomach. Open your truck door and spray the "regular" in it, close the door, and the next day you shouldn't smell anything. It doesn't take a whole lot either! I tried Febreeze, but that didn't seem to a very good job.

Edit: Vape mail is good!

Well... I am impressed!

Got the iTaste vv3 working... get this, it arrived fully charged!!! The taste is AMAZING... I took a sample hit off my eRoll after using this iTaste... how did I ever make such progress with such an AIRY taste?!?!?!

I find that I really don't need to change the default settings for this Virginia; if I boost either the v or w, it seems to just make it hotter, doesn't seem to affect the taste that much, though when I boosted the v to 4, it didn't taste quite as good, so i dropped it back down. It does take some getting used to, needing to click the button instead of the automatic style, but that's not really a huge deal. I do notice it's a lot hotter vape than what I got from the eRoll, and that DOES take some getting used to, but again, not that big a deal -- it's a LOT more like the taste of the cigarettes, though, maybe because of the heat? But the throat hit also seems much improved with the iTaste -- again, compared to the iTaste, that eRoll seems like... I dunno, a Carlton? (smoking air??)

I went ahead and mixed up the 9mg Virginia for use in the morning; I also mixed up a little more to reach a 7.5mg, which might keep me from needing to be sucking on the thing constantly; I had noted that with the 6mg, I was using the eRoll pretty much constantly, so I thought that might not be *quite* strong enough.

This was an EXCELLENT purchase!!!!

I'm so tempted to get a pipe for hubby.

It just feels right to smoke a pipe!!! Vaping fits pipe smoking well IMO. I have 4 pipes at the moment and waiting on my fifth in the mail. Been vaping a year and have tried a few Mods including a ZMAX but the pipe just feels more natural to me. You can find some decent pipe mods for under $50 but if your going for a traditional wood look it will be over $50.
