Ok, Rundown. Why I like the i30 and the SVD

As far as the i30... I like the tighter draw and in a word... FLAVOR.

Yes. Tried the russian, kf's, smok, aspire, kanger, drippers... not a fan of any. Some are ok, but not worth the aggravation I have to go thru to get them ready.

Just got the nautilus. I like the adjustments so I can get a tighter draw and it's really well built. But that's the only plus. Flavor... not working for me. Unmounting it to fill... not a fan. I like the i30 since you just leave it on the mod, unscrew the top, fill it up, put the top back on, done. Quick and simple.

But let's talk about what it's all about. FLAVOR.

So far, outside of the i30 the nautilus is great. But the flavor sucks. Just is not there. Totally different flavor. Even on my fav SVD.

Now I'm talking about using my fav ADV in all these tanks. There is just no comparison with any of these and the i30. And especially on the SVD compared to anything else I own.

What surprises me about all this is that a tank (not to mention a mod) can change the flavor of a particular juice. Makes no sense to me but for me... it is what it is.

It does make sense that a dual coil vs a single coil could be slightly different, but my experience has been the juice has a totally different taste. And... it sucks. But again, this is me and my experience.

As far as clouds... well, suffice to say I can't watch tv and take a good sized hit at the same time. More than enuff for me.

Took me a while but I'm saving a fortune. :) When they come out with the latest and greatest shiny... I can look at it and say... sorry. I'm done. There is just no way to improve on perfection. :)

Obviously YMMV but I'm content.

So after fiddling around with my Nautilus for a couple of weeks I just ordered myself a couple more Davides as an additional belated vapeversary present. I'm still considering an Eleaf iStick as well, but I'm waiting for more information on the issues people are having with it running "hot" on lower wattages. Or maybe the MVP 3 will have an easier to push button, since that is the only issue I have with my MVP 2s.

I still find the ones with lines easier to use, since it gives me a reference for where to look. That, and with balance issues I find the gradual change in focus to be a problem.

Oh yeah, stairs. The first week I had glasses (bifocals) I went to see a play. I dressed up, including the high heels I never normally wore (don't wear them at all anymore) and ended up faced with curved stairs with a patterned carpet. Going up was bad, going down my daughter had to both hold my elbow and talk me through being sure my foot was going to the right place.

You must not have seen this yet then....Taste Your Juice | Can I Taste Your Juice?

You mentioned the nautilus. Does yours have the new bvc coils or the old bdc? I saw a huge difference between the 2.

No, bdc but I did order some bvc's. Haven't tried them yet. But I'm really blown away by the VAST difference in taste of a juice I've been using for quite a few months. It's been one of my fav's but actually it's lousy in the naut. The naut comes with an extra coil and I cleaned that up and switched it but there was no difference at all.

Always noticed a slight difference with juice in other mods over the SVD but they were still decent. Just never liked the loose draw with most of the other tanks.

The wildcats are the best...my 22 CHeetah Rem 700 vapor stick, the 375/338 Browning BAR, the 450 Alaskan Win 71 as well. All these go nicely when vaping a nice pipe at the range...

Really nice collection you have there - both of them. :toast:

mmm? Janet and I should have a couple iSticks showing up this week. I'm not happy that the actual output doesn't match the settings and even at low volts/watts it runs hot. For me it shouldn't be a probably 'cause I vape at higher settings than Janet. May just need to insure her toppers are up around 2-2+ ohms and she should be OK. Can't believe 'they' are using average output and not RMS. I though all the PV manufacturers learned that a couple years ago.

If I were you and can hold off for a V2 iStick - it just may be better regulated. But then it's selling so well, the manufacturer really doesn't have much incentive to change it.

Vaping in bed. Yeeeessss....

Welcome to the porch Kenna. Always nice to have new folks come on board. And yepper, ain't it nice vaping in bed - no worries about setting the house on fire.

I use the same flavor in about 5 or 6 different toppers (RBA, RTA, RDA, Nauts, Davide's, etc). Each has a slightly different taste to it and depending on my mood, I like one more than the other. I believe it comes down to the different wick / coil / airflow characteristics effecting how the flavor comes through.

Just watched that a few minutes ago. It says what we all already knew.

I like the fact that vendors often listen to Phil and make changes that he requests. He specifically gave it a thumbs down to encourage them to change from using Mean instead of RMS to determine voltage. Hopefully they listen.

You could tell that he really liked it and would have loved to give it a thumbs up.

How many times did he say 'adorable'?

Hey Iffy - have ya been keeping up w/ the newest / latest / and greatest on the vaping scence. Evolv just announced their new DNA40 chip/controller. They claim you'll never to get a dry hit from it.

Instead of setting volts or wattage, you set temperature. It then monitors and regulates the coil to never exceed the temp. If your wick starts drying out it just reduces power. Your vape will drop off but no dry hit.

Love those pipes! I've seen some I've thought about getting, but haven't...yet. I vape alone, normally, so don't care what anyone would think about a woman with a pipe. I use a ss bent tip on my tanks,it lets me relax the angle I hold my arm, wrist & hand so they don't lock up on me. I hate having vapor lock.
Yaaaaaaay! Someone with the ACTUAL name of Kenna! My handle used to be KenA, and people kept thinking I was a lady.

Never knew epipes like that existed!
15 Unbelievable E-Pipes | Tronic Vape
I have 3 of those!

I have seen some beautiful 'girly' epipes...however hubby already thinks I'm nuts and pretty sure if he came home to me using an epipe he would have me committed:laugh:
E-pipes are actually quite popular with the ladies. Elegant and compact.
