I got up late, and wasted too much time reading posts that were on-topic for the competition, and off-topic for vaping! Not real kosher, compared to the board-wide competition last year. Ah-well.

Congratulations to the winners! They really sweetened the pot at the end.

To be fair, we're not always completely on topic when there's no competition either :) But I reckon that DancingHeritik had the first on-topic post after 14,999 with this post at 15,003:

I'm always at least a year behind on the newest thing. By the time I get it, it's usually starting to get hard to get replacement parts.

But, there is a really good deal on Aspire nautilus Glassomizers in the Classies right now that's tempting me to get a little more up to date.

Naw. But, if anyone else is into the nautilus, . . . . .

Are you telling me there are prizes.
Gotta be the socks 'cause not everyone can claim to own a pair of Iffy's old socks :lol:

Oh yes! Us old folks like to do things right. Here's ya go. :vapor: (PM your mailing address to me and Iffy)

Sweet! Besides one like da below (Sentinel M16 telescopic), I'll also 'toss' in a new Kick module...

Hey Iffy, I'll see your mech mod, and add a Sigelei T-Max to the pot for the person making the 15,000th post.

And BigBells added a consolation prize to the pot too.

I'm offering another prize package to the first post after #15000 from someone who has had no other post in the preceding 10 posts.

In other words, poster #15001 will win unless they have posted any of the other posts #14991- #15000. In that case the prize package will go to poster #15002 unless poster #15002 has posted any of the other posts #14992- #15001, etc.

Prize package is: a gently used Innokin MVP 2, a still-in-the-box Kanger Protank 2, an additional 5-pack of coils for the Protank, and 50 ml of DIY juice made to your specifications with any combination of the many flavorings I have on hand.

If winner is overseas, alternate prize package will be substituted to avoid shipping batteries or e-liquid.

Same here. I have moved up to Evod Glass from regular evods though :D Can't see me going to evod glass 2 any time soon. I have been tempted to get a nautilus mini but have so far resisted the urge.

Well, to go on that nice new Sigelie, you're going to have to get the full size Naut - or a Kayfun!

Congrats!

Yay, Grand Prize Winner Mattiem!

Semi, you win the "first post after 15000 prize". What strength, flavors and PG/VG ratio of joose do you like? (I don't think I have any tropical fruit flavors but have just about anything else.)

Bells, I think the prize should go to Dancing Heretik since she had the first on topic post after 15,000 - seems only fair since this thread is for PV topics...

Oh my goodness. I kinda feel bad (but not that bad) :D about it now since I post so seldom. I thought it was just all in fun. PM's going out. Thank you Mike and Iffy

You can just pay us back by hanging around here more often.

Your post count don't mean nothing - it's 'you' that count. And listen to 0mg she has good advice :)

Dancing;
Semi has graciously assigned his 2nd prize to you. (MVP, Protank, 5 additional coils, 50ml of joose.) PM me please. If you want a Dovpo E-mech instead, with the Transformer logo on it, that can certainly be done. I don't recommend the Dovpo, though, because I find it impossible to use it without inadvertently changing the settings. The touch-pad-type adjustment buttons are so sensitive that all you have to do is look at them funny... the thing is a serious PITA to use.

If Iffy put up a prize for the 15,000th post, we could knock it out in an hour.

Ya can blame FT!

Gotta be the socks 'cause not everyone can claim to own a pair of Iffy's old socks :lol:

Careful what ya ask fer...

Good morning! I've been lurking about for a bit, and thought to say, "Hey," before y'all hit 15,000. With your kind permission, I'd love to visit on the new front porch ...

Welcome, LB! Don't need no stinkin' permission here. Just perch your tail feathers any where's there room and enjoy da 'views'!

Nice the American Heart Association released a positive report on vaping and smoking cessation compared to NRTs.

American Heart Association Study Finds Vaping More Effective Than NRTs - The American Vaping Association

OMG!! (No, not you, 0mg ;) )

This part especially noteworthy:

“This study demonstrates exactly why e-cigarettes and vapor products have become so popular among smokers looking to quit. For smokers looking to quit, vaping is undeniably a viable option. Additionally, research continues to show that vaping is especially helpful for smokers who have tried and failed to quit multiple times with government-approved methods like the nicotine patch, gum, and lozenge. Genuine public health advocates should cheer this new study.

“We remain very concerned that the public health benefits of vaping could be squashed by improper and excessive FDA regulation. If approved, the FDA’s proposed deeming regulation would act as a de facto ban on over 99% of e-cigarette products currently available on the market. Dramatically decreasing product variety will hinder, not help, the FDA’s goal of reducing tobacco-related disease and death.

We continue to call on House and Senate leadership to introduce a bill in 2015 that would substantially alter the FDA’s authority over e-cigarette products already on the market.
