Yep next time I have it apart I am going to check that chimney seal. The only time it leaks on me is if I fill it all the way up so that makes me think it might be the chimney Oring. I have heard that they are not all the same thickness and that would make sense if it leaked it would go right down to the deck and out the air hole into the base. Oh and as far as screwing up the Kanger I can still subohm. Just gave it a try and it is not really for me.

This thread is dominated by east coasters, west coasters, and south coasters. Amoret and I are anomalies. And I'll have you know that Wisconsin has an east coast and a west coast. It is just that the Mississippi and Lake Michigan are fresh water. And with Dinger being a new member, we may eventually out-number the coasters.

Another thing I found out is the glass has a flatter edge and a rounded edge and the flatter edge should be towards the top. One more thing to check. That Oring though could be the culpret I have 4 KFL repair kits and it is very possible they have one that would work in there. I wish the KFL+ had better air flow it might work good with nickel then. I kind of wish they had put rubber seals for the glass instead of the neoprene or what ever it is they use.

Don't hold it against me for saying so, please, but I think you're over-reacting. The person who started the thread is using a Provari, which is not going to allow an unsafe condition. Everybody has to start somewhere, and some do more research than others before starting. At least the poster is asking questions, and I don't think he or she should be criticized for that.

I'm not criticizing him. I'm saying out right that he either knows zero about vaping, or how it works, & is building "coils", & trying to vape without juice, or he's ANTZ & fishing to see if anyone will educate someone dumb enough to try to vape dry wick. Look at his avi, If that's really him he might be 18. Might be. Just saying a Moderator needs to take a look & I'll leave it at that.

Sheesh! Just read 200+ pages of a thread on a particular RBA, looking for an answer to a question I have. Couldn't find it, so I posted a question. The response? "Read back a few pages, Birdy." Sorry for the rant, but if that's how my initial questions on vaping were answered, I'd still be smoking! (Hurt feelings . Gotta get over myself!)

This has got to be a joke. No one would try to build an RDA and fire it with no juice in it. And like what was said unless he had a P3 he couldn't even fire that resistance.. The P3 is rated for .5 but I've heard .7 is more like it.

Maybe it's a bad joke off of the latest Formaldehyde Research?

Ya did good hun. like I said, I tried for quite awhile one night to let him/her know that they needed to learn a lot more before trying rebuilding etc. I still have no idea if they're just really young, and perhaps not a native English speaker (not sure) or if they're jerking people's chains. But if they are for real, they're an accident waiting to happen based on several pm's

Well I F Ued my Kanger rebuuildable section. Parts of chimney got stuck and dummy me tried Pliers. Bent the lower section of the chimney so will not fit anymore. So that 1/2 of my Kanger is TU. Don't use pliers and Chinese stuff.

Awwww Legs! Now I'm sad! You were having such a good time with it! When does the new one come out? Are preorders available for it yet?

And hopefully I'm smart enough to know that I don't know everything. At least this guy was smart AND brave enough to post his question and take the flak for it. Yep, he'll do what he's gonna do. The more I think about it the more I think it's gotta be a joke. In that light I like the response he got about juicing it up with bbq sauce.

He might be able to buy just a new chimney for it.

I got my replacement orchid today. Six orchids sitting in a row. Four tall ones with red driptips for my floral teas, one tall one with a metal driptip for "other", and the shorty with a metal tip for my tobacco. I can refill them all in just a few minutes, assembly-line style. And ordered my kicked mech. I am happy.

Looking at an Elkronigin. I've heard good things about them: good juice capacity; easy build ('tho you're good at building, so that might not matter); well made; and great flavor. I was thinking about the Ruzgar, but it has a very small deck, and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to work with it.

this poor person is an accident waiting to happen. I'd answered some questions for them before, real basic stuff that I did know, told them that I was brand new to coils as well, and that they really needed to watch a lot of videos etc. They said they'd watched about 30 of em. They started pm'ing me asking about where to buy stuff and other questions. I've done some dumb things, and surely have had a hard time understanding seemingly simple stuff, but I watched and read and asked TONS before doing. Not everyone is lucky enough to have y'all to guide us, I get that, but based on what I've seen from this person, they really need a lot more knowledge before trying some of the stuff that they are trying.

See, the fact that they were pming you all that re enforces my thinking that this may be a troll fishing to mess with someone/everyone. I really think this particular pic is related to that report that just came out. Yep, gotta be a troll.
