I really SHOULD come in here more often. I'm struggling a bit with my vaping,....OK a lot.....but at any rate, I'm going to try to get in here more often.

Heh Heh....I'm exceptionally talented at punishing myself.

Just keep doing it 'til it feels good... NOT!

Would help to review your recent vaping history and setups!

Taking the first few puffs of the last of my Good E juice NET liquid samples, the Godfather. This one is pretty remarkable. Never was a cigar smoker but toked on a few in my time. This is alot like a cigar to me. Tangy tobacco inhale and a smoky, complex exhale. Maybe one other liquid I've vaped did this kind of dramatic transformation from inhale to exhale. Not something I'd vape all the time but a fun and satisfying treat. I will probably reorder some more of this and more Patriot as well. :vapor:

I know of several people here on ECF that swear by WTAs to help them stay clear of combustion. Yes, it is expensive at the beginnig, but not more expensive than your life Roto. After a few months and more confidence, you slowly wean yourself off of them. Slowly, and don't hesitate to go back up is you slide.

I have no personal experience with them, I am one of the fortunate few who quit after my first vape. But I was already not smoking much, less than 1/2 pack a day and really, really wanted to quit. Habits are hard to change and stress makes it harder.

Thank you for telling of your problems. As iffy said, perhaps a little more detail? I know that SVD will give you a great vape.

C'mon guys. Cravings? Takes time to get the nic into yer system? Well, I submit to you... YER DOIN' IT WRONG!

Never once did I crave a cig. For me, if I feel like I need more nic.. hit it hard!!!! 5... 6... or more hits in a row. That is, hit it, exhale, hit it, exhale. Repeat as needed. Kinda like don't breath between hits. Chain vaping takes all the cravings away. Instantly.

Datz my upinyun n' I'm stuk wid it!

I am one of those that HAS to use WTA liquids. I get mine here....Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice Use coupon code ECF to get 10% off and any order over $75, before the code, gets free shipping.

I didn't start using it because I had cravings for cigs, I started using it because my brain quit working without it. January 1st, 2010, I finally got a kit that scratched the itch well enough for me to put the cigs down for good. After about 6 weeks of plain nic liquid, and no cigs, my brain function was so slow I didn't feel safe going to work (I take c/o people). I went back to being a part time smoker, 'a dual user', to get my brain back. July of 2012, I learned about WTA and ordered some WTA infused liquids. Hope returned that I could give up smoking for good. Within 3 or 4 days I got the order, and have used it ever since. I had to mix it 50/50 with regular nic liquid because I got a head rush from it, just like if I'd not smoked for a month or so then lit one up. I am now at about 17%, after slowly weaning myself. I have gotten some of their DIY unflavored WTA liquid but haven't figured out what % equals what I get when I use their 'infused' liquids.

I hope you get over this hump quickly. :)

ETA There's also Swedish Snus and Stonewalls dissolvable tobacco that work really well when you can't vape. I have those too. Gotta be prepared for everything. :)

for some folks, not for everyone. We're all different. Some cravings don't come from just lack of nicotine.

What is the difference in WTA and NET?
I don't know exactly, but I do know that WTA are whole tobacco alkaloids, so they have more properties of the tobacco, not sure what all is extracted from the tobacco in the NETs

For most of us that works, others obviously not. Lots of people say, flipantly, "If you really wanted to quit smoking, you'd just quit." How many of those folks did you wish you could just shoot with an antiaircraft gun, hm? (Personally, I lost count.) Bad night, had to take it out on someone. ;)

I just realized that here we are in version 3, and I have not posted my beginners guides yet...
or maybe I have and forgot.
so for all people just starting out...

Very nice and it's only two thirds of the way though this edition of the porch. Really, that's an excellent collection of videos.

What is the difference in WTA and NET?

Did a search and this thread should help. It's good because its got links to more information. WTA and NET tobacco e-liquids, what's the difference? | E-Cigarette Forum There's also MOIAs or some combination thereof. I probably could have used them when I switched but didn't even hear of them until long after I'd dumped smoking.

Flavor is as important as having some nic in there to me. Sometimes unflavored does the job too though.
Jup for many flavors are important in vaping, even though we smoked the same flavor cigs. lol. But was just telling Gary, that not everyone can stop cig cravings just by chain vaping

I had horrible cravings for about 8 months til I went back up to 24mg nic. Jup I'm sure she is hangin in there, but hope we can find something to help her with em
I'm buying 6 mg and zero to mix 3mg. The 6mg I vaped in the Lemo made me wnt to lie down for a while.

lol yeah if I vaped at the wattage and ohms you do, I expect I'd be lowering nic as well. I really thought I would lower it when I started with the Reo and RDA's, but 24 to 18 was too big a drop, however, I have noticed I'm vaping less, so same results kinda. either that or the nuppin just doesn't use much juice even with a dual coil. Of course, it's about net 1.3 ohms
