Thanks mms........I thought the 41 something was pg and vg you'd gotten from essential depot.

Jup, get your nic in pg, our resident chemist says that it mixes with pg easier and better than vg. Keep it in the freezer. I will break a liter down at a time into 8 120ml bottles and use one of them to make up a 1/2 liter or so at a time of nic base. Once your juice is made, you don't need to keep it cold. Probably don't want it getting super hot, but just keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

The nic in the freezer will last essentially forever. The juice at least a year once it's made up probably longer.

Do I need the Beakers and Glass tubes and bottles and all of that stuff. I already have some syringes, 1ml, 5ml, 10ml, and so on, plus a truck load of 100ml, 125ml saved bottles from juice (all cleaned up of course).
You've already got every thing you need. I put mine in the freezer in 4 ounce, amber glass bottles.

If you make 30 mls of juice at a time, a 30 ml syringe would come in handy, some folks use the graduated cylinders. For me, I measured it all in a plastic measuring cup. 100 ml of nic I think it was 120 mls of vg and 193 mls of pg (poured to just under the 200ml line on the measuring cup) that was close enough for me. Put it all in a jar, put the lid on and shook it up. lol

If you're making unflavored, you don't even need syringes or any of that stuff. Maybe a graduated cylinder if you want to be very exact. For me, close enough worked.

Hiya roto!! Do you have your internet back? or you on your phone??

You can use syringes you have though you might want some wider bore/longer needles for them.

Protip. Keep your Mt Baker bottles when they are empty and wash them out. You can pop the tip off and refill them with your home made juice. Mt Baker uses a fairly good quality bottle. I have some I have been reusing for years. :)

I have officially given up on twisted 32g wire. Does anybody want some untwisted on a 100 ft reel?
Is that anything like giving up on nickel?

C'mon guys. Someone not even slightly into technology wants to quit. IMHO we don't hand them a provari or mvp or anything they have to do anything to. (and NO! Not a #$@*% cigalike either!) A simple EGO is where it's at I'm thinking. Fill it up and push the button. Not enough control? Of course not. But they're learning to vape. I don't think they're interested in learning ohm's law. Biggest problem... finding that killer juice that just blows away any thot of a cig! That's the real key. Being able to adjust the mod comes later. Much later.

Thatz my opinion, n' I"m stuck wid it!!!!

I sort of agree, Gary. Although I'd suggest a VV, Spinner or Twist type. The ability to adjust for the flavor and for the normal variances in factory coils can make a big difference.

And if going for that form factor, perhaps a venerable T3S on top?
Sorry, I'm all with going with a Spinner or Twist. It doesn't get any easier than just turning a dial. If he's fine with 3.7, he doesn't ever have to change it. It's there if he wants it. Started out with the plain old egos, got a Spinner on down the road when I stripped out the threads on two of them but had it for many months before messing with the dial. Dials are so much less intimidating than buttons.

PAT PEND CHINA. Now that is funny.
I know!!!

Hi Ya'll

I've been lurking and looking but haven't found the sign-up sheet or the club rules page. Where do I go to sign up at ? This looks like a nice little group ya'll have here. What are the dues, monthly meetings, weekly ? Dress code maybe ? I'm almost 65, smoked Cig's, Cigars, Pipe, Redman Chewing Tobacco (but NO Skol thank you) for 52 years. Been Vape'in since August of 14', had a Heart attach in January, now on ALL kinds of pills, drink about 9 cans of Pepsi a day (no alcohol anymore, these pills you know), am an Arthritic (since my early 20's), what else, TMI ? Anyways, Hello !!
Welcome to the porch 52! I see Deb already has set you up with automatic payments. You gotta keep an eye on her, she's quick. Did that (Iffy) flea bag try to slip you an acoustic (whoopee) or pin cushion for your rocker yet?

Man you guys posted a lot. Hello, the contest is over. I'll have to catch up all the way tomorrow.:(

Washington state is still determined to flush vaping down the toilet. Wa HB2211 is back | E-Cigarette Forum

Let's just say that I had two devices develop hot legs recently, and had a frustrating time getting them recoiled. I also ordered this Universal Tools Coil Jig | Lightning Vapes After having had Orchids for nine months, and switching over to them exclusively, I have decided to start using them as duals. Yeah- a bit slow. Twisted just isn't reliable enough to get them identical. So- if you want that reel, just send me a PM.

52 - you already got a lot of good advice on DIY, but I can add one piece more. You do not have to start out big. You can start out small and make sure you like what you are making and then if you enjoy it - go back and stock up. You can buy smaller bottles of PG, VG, and Nic to test your experience first. Cost will be a bit more, but still about 1/10th of what you are paying now for store bought juice.

Since you already have syringes and stuff - you do not have the sunk cost part of DIYing to worry about - you only need the consumables. If you buy the bulk ingredients you can make a 30ml bottle of juice for around a $1 - $1.50. If you buy the smaller bottles to test if you like it the cost will be about $1.50 - $2.00. Both are cheap.

The key with DIY is the cost and the fact that you are in control and can adjust as necessary with little effort.

Wait, 42 ??? Is that Ebonics or something ?

Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. :)

Do Ya'll Really taste your juice good ? I Haven't from day 1. I'm thinkin that all my taste buds are damn near dead due to my 52 years of tobacco use. I read about people talk'in about notes of this flavor and notes of that flavor, but I don't get ANY of that, just if it taste good or not. I mean Vanilla taste Kind of like Vanilla but thats it, the tobacco's also. Guess it's just me.

Yep, that can have a big impact, as most of us know first hand!

It will (probably...) come back in time. Patience, grasshopper.:nun:
