I'm having some trouble with my Tugboat clone and was hoping y'all could offer some advice. I'm just doing a simple single coil build this one is a 7 wrap 24 ga read .7 Ohm after install. It starts off fine but twice now after I drip some liquid in there, the resistance reading on the mod jumps. Got 1.5 Ohms once and 2.4 this last time. Happens with both the ipv and the istick last night and today with two different builds.

edit:

Got some spare screws from the box and was going to replace both neg and pos but it seems to have stopped after putting in a new screw on the neg post.

Haven't heard anything from Crystal E Liquid about the mystery juice they sent me.

Yup, real vapers don't have loose screws.

(Glad you found it! :) )

I'll get this figured out at some point. Got a dual coil build going in a Plume Veil clone that's tasting OK. Nice to be doing a lot of my vaping on RBAs.

Time for Netflix. Welcome to any new folks I've forgotten to greet. Night all.

Still haven't gotten a response from MFS regarding the ticket I filled out 3 days ago for my defective Heatvape Invader Mini mod. I'll call them tomorrow.
My best wishes to those in the Texas area in their dealings with Tropical Storm Bill!
Wow, that's weird that you haven't heard from them yet. Let us know what happens when you call. And thanks to you and everyone for the best wishes for Texas.

I'm dying for the day when "they" realize vaping is a valuable quit smoking tool and have to eat it over all the laws and taxes they've been passing. The truth just has to catch up someday. I hope.

Nope, that will give them a reason to raise them even more.

So now I have switched to light flavoring, I am wondering. I have never noticed any vaper's tongue, flavor fatigue has never been in my vocabulary. Probably because I never found an ADV, and switch off so regularly. For those who do, however, I am wondering if flavor fatigue is a result of using juices with too much flavoring? I know that could be a self-perpetuating cycle.

I've heard that mentioned on another thread. May be something to it. The continued "overload" turns the buds off, or fries or drwons them? Could be...

I switch flavors a lot as well, so haven't gone through it, either, but it sort of makes sense.

Then again, having multiple flavors is, for me at least, a lot more fun :)

the only problems like that I had from vaping was when I first started and was using store bought ejuice. Just about gave up on vaping, switched to DIY with no artificial ingredients and all has been fine since.
Recently trying some different flavorings. 3 so far cause issues, they went in trash. 3 others so far ok, still experimenting.

Yep me too. I have 9 tanks with different flavors and 3 mods going and I switch off frequently. Just vaping one flavor for me kind of makes it lose it's flavor. I go between creamy and sort of sweet to fruity to fruity and creamy mixed. Tobacco flavors have lost all their goodness for me.

I hear the mad scientists at YiHi are working on an upgrade to the firmware that may accomodate titanium, SS, and even Kanthal with Temperature control. It sure would be nice if they make it a free firmware upgrade like the last one. The last one did so much for the nickel it made the vape twice as good as it was with a 5 min upgrade. It gave you a separate mode and 5 more memory spots actually 10 if you use the power mode to. Extended the battery life also.

I responded to my own service ticket this morning, asking if my initial message had gotten lost over the weekend. Within an hour I got a response, saying I could return the mod for credit or refund, including what I pay for shipping to get it back to MFS.

So how did you fare through the storm?

o how did you fare through the storm?
Not really storming here, just rain that is sitting over us, so we're still faring. Another system coming the other direction too, under flash flood warning or watch from Monday night when it started til midnight Friday. Glad MFS is takin care of ya. I've only dealt with em once over something, but they were great about it.
