oh that should be interesting. I was disappointed when I ordered my flavors that they were out of the lemon sicily. But will get some another time. Never had a lemon vape except for a lemonade that I didn't like.
Happy Birthday!

Made some Lemon Meringue Pie that is pretty good. My only vapable lemon flavor so far. Don't think I am done with it quite yet though.

OK.....dancin's daughter just called, and she's still in ICU, but they'll be moving her soon to a room. She's doing really well, and they'll be taking all the tubes out soon. She was afraid with her BP going low that they wouldn't be able to give her enough pain meds, but they are giving her plenty, so that's good. Her daughter is taking her laptop back up to her. And she'll have plenty of help when she gets home. They really appreciate everyone's concern and good wishes.

HEY Ken, how you doin this mornin ? I got a question for you. On another thread someone posted that a Lemo 2 was too loose for a MTL draw. I am thinking about getting one myself, but if its too airy, then prolly not. What do you think ?
Don't know how you would get too loos of a draw for mouth to lung... If it's too airy, you can always block the airflow some, I guess.

Yeah. The makers of vaping equipment and the reviewers seem to all be going towards sub ohm and clouds and ignoring the masses of people that will be converting to vaping from smoking. Most older smokers that convert to vaping are not interested in a big 200 watt box mod and clouds...
I keep seeing and hearing reviewers and such going on about if the FDA has it's way all we will have is cigalikes. Well those silly cigalikes got more people off of cigs than big mods ever did and I feel they and the EGO setups will continue to be the ones that work the best to get smokers off of cigs.
Yeah while i think an innokin coolfire or mvp and a subtank mini would be the best starter kit in terms of giving them a full vape experience that is comparable or superior to smoking analogs, not many people are willing to spend 60 dollars to try it. I know i started with an ego stick and a protank.
but i also don't think the industry is going away from those. Every major manufacturer makes a line of starter ego style mods.

Welcome to the porch sanguine! Jup, many of us started with and got off cigs with the ego or something like that, and they're a lot cheaper now than when many of us bought them. Of course so are things like the Istick 30, which is still simple but offers a better vape for most. So it really depends on the person as to what I'd recommend for someone new.

thanks for the welcome. I am not an old folk just yet (just shy of 30,) but i doenjoy a good sit on the front porch on a warm summer evening. I've been catching up with the thread, and liking the community in here. I might sit a spell.

I had a buddy who tried vaping to quit cigs, and did for a bit, but he was using cigalikes and didnt want to put the money into a proper setup. he stopped for awhile, but then went back to analogs. I think my worry with the super basic ego setup is that it doesnt always give the full smoking sensation. I like thick lung filling inhales, and the ego just didnt do it for me.

Well Ive found that with using mostly TFA you can get a good juice from 15% flavour possibly less. Though I did add a bit of pg to assist in flavour carrying. ( Yes Dave I can hear you saying 15% why not just vape pure flavour concentrate  )
Went from 25% to 15% to see how it would go.

My son is complaining that egos break too easily. I would not recommend a regulated, because of breakability. I told him he has to bypass the regulated and jump up to mech mod.

With a loose draw, you're getting very little vaporized juice and a lot of air. Your mouth holds a lot less than your lungs, so at some point a mouth to lung draw requires a tighter draw than a direct lung draw to get the same amount of vaporized juice.

I had the same question as you, until I started using and enjoying the "wide open" air holes on my Kanger Subtank. Way too much air for a satisfying mouth to lung hit but great (to me) for direct lung hits.

I resemble that remark! But really, I don't believe I've ever uttered a single word of criticism regarding anyone's choice of flavoring percentage. I use a lot less than I used to but that's something that seems to happen to a lot of us. OK, maybe I've been SURPRISED at flavoring percentages used by others, but never CRITICAL.

These days I'm usually under 10% total flavoring with TFA flavors but I did make one mix recently with about 16%, including 6% menthol. It's a good occasional tastebud shocker.

Thank you darlin!!! Jup....told her how much we all appreciate it. So kind of her to call me and keep me updated. She said it means a lot to her as well that so many of us on here care about her mama.
