Sitting at home I have different tanks with different flavors in them. I have a tendency to forget what is in which tank so I have a sheet of paper with the tank and flavor listed. I currently have 3 tanks on separate mods and 3 different drippers set up. I like a variety of flavors.

I have had issues with 1.8 ohm coils in clearomizers tasting burned at 3.7 volts or higher. Why I switched to 2 - 2.2 ohm coils.
This was with 50/50 juice.

You are going to think I am crazy or neurotic by the time I fully get the hang of vaping. Question: am using the Kanger Evod2. When I put it down, I lay it on its side like I would a pen or pencil. Is it possible liquid is draining out of the coil causing bad flavor so when I use it again? Should it be kept upright, standing in a cup or whatever? Thanks

Probably not an issue, however they do work best if kept upright. Or if going to be in a hot area upside down is best. At least that is what works best for my Single coil Evods and T3 clearomizers.

I got a super bright LED articulated desk lamp. That helps a lot. I never heard of tri-focals. Does that mean you have an extra high power section on the lens? I might have to pick some of those up.

I have ones so that I can see the computer, read and write. I'm one of those that likes to have my nose about 2" from the paper when I write. Love them, right up until my vision changes again--or the dog chews them up.

Does anyone else feel like they reached the end of their vaping journey? I spent a year spending money and collecting stuff and hours comparing all the new gear online. Now I'm happy with what I've got. I don't even get a buzz from checking out new hardware on the web. Occasionally think about getting extras of what I already have, and still pick up a few new flavorings once in a while.

Grandson got a dripper last month. I tried it out and it was cool but I didn't feel any urge to get one myself.

It's like computers. Years ago I built my own, with the latest hard drive tech and video cards and all the rest. Now it's just a tool, I buy a regular Dell and I'm happy with it.

I completely lucked out. Started with an ego, happy. Eventually tried a Spinner, happy. Bought a ProVari for the long haul because of the FDA, happy. If we were rich, might have tried more things, but I'm happy with what I have. Newer stuff doesn't interest me. Just feel I lucked out all around.

Readers ... he, he ... I had to give up on them years ago for prescription lens. Even 3.0 readers didn't help ... just made the blurry picture bigger not crisper.

Feeling like I went kinda ape crazy when I realized that vaping really would work too get me off analogs. Immediately realized that I would need a backup.... Which became a need for a backup for my backup for my backup for my backup, ya know?
Then wouldn't ya know that just after I placed the order my perfect mod I won a contest here on the forums with a fantastic 26650 mod and an RTA. Now that I'm swimming in hardware it's time for me start setting up my diy jooce lab.

I am happy with the equipment I have now. Don't really need anything else. I have plenty of what works for me and never had to be "on the bleeding edge".

Leave tomorrow for 4 weeks on the road. 2 weeks (2 different show) in KY, the NJ for a week then the Cape for a week. Look forward to lobster on the Cape that I missed last year being home with old Spock. This will be Geordi's first road trip. Puppy in a motel room, always a thrill!

First off, a wick is a wick, horizontal or vertical! A wick will not go 'dry' under most, if not all, circumstances. As long as your topper does not leak, ya should be good to go.

As others have posted, I'd bet on a gunked or bad coil.

And, if you're visiting a B&M and obviously a 'mature' vaper/vaperita, don't let 'em BS ya! At your vaping stage, flav is your rav. Just hold their 'toppers' to da fire. If you're not satisfied, let 'em know!

OTOH, I truly suggest that you rely upon da 'porch' to guide ya thru da vape flav dilemma. Most, if not all of us, have traversed da same path as you in our finding our Nirvana. We only want to make your path a breeze!

Cleaned out the Kanger. Now vaping an original peppermint, less nic, but at least I'm not tasting flowers/incense. Thought I would try other B&M shops in the area, but guess I will return to the original shop as I have had no problem with their juices. Lesson learned, the grass is not always greener...

I have a PTouch label maker and make little cryptic labels I put on my toppers as to what flavor is in it. OCD - who me?

I print out names of my eliquid on a sheet of paper then snip them out and put them on my clearo with scotch tape. works great when sealed under tape and even makes it thru several rinsings.

I do labels for my ejuice bottles the same way. regular ink jet printed labels do not last unless sealed under tape.
