Age is just a number. Understanding and appreciating the porch environment usually takes a long time.
I would feel what is considered old is when you decide to stop learning cause you think to know it all.
Do you have to be old to participate in this thread? If so, what is considered old?
Just curious brother -- some folks are picky about their threads -- I am definitely an old duffer. If you guys ever create a thread for weird people why I will be the first one in line![]()
Too late.

Nice, I have not tried Rayon yet but will give it a go. Will use your method, thanks.

The Kayfun's that are on sale at Vapor Range, is there a discount code? So far, I like this Kayfun just as much as my carto-tanks. I want more!
They have the KFv4 for the same price. Should I try that too/instead? Is it a lot better? It is more complicated, right?
ETA: Nevermind on the KFv4. They're out of stock already.

It won't let me ship to a different address! I even went to Manage Shipping Address and entered it there. But, the dropdown to choose my address to ship to only has the billing address listed!don't need a code, they are on clearance...also includes free shipping...
That's how I do it. I use KGD only. I get a taste from rayon that I don't like. Never any strange flavors from KGD, just the juice flavors. Here's my method for wicking w/ rayon (and KGD) for building KFL-lites, Russians and KFL4's.
Rayon I make as snug as I can w/o distorting the coil, it's on the tight side. Cotton just enough to fill the coil w/o being tight. Rayon, I snip about 1/2 the thickness of the tail protruding from the coil on each end.
(these pics look like I'm using KGD before switching to Rayon)

I then juice up the wick and press a needle into the 'corner' of the deck.

Press it hard enough to leave an indentation in the wet wick
Then gently lift the wick w/ the pin and cut it off at the indention left in the wick.

Then tuck the wick into the corner of the deck

Put it altogether and enjoy the vape. No dry hits, no flooding, no leaking.
