Call her Plain Jane. We had a wonderful dog many years ago that was a mixed poodle terrier something. People would ask us her breed, which we didn't know, so we called her PJ for Plain Jane. Now days she would be a designer dog. I see dogs on commercials that look like her all the time. How do you say Plain Jane in French?

Le' PJe'? :D

Got my kanthal and KGD in today! My first coil was supposed to be 5 wraps but I actually did 6. Didn't want to waste it so I installed it anyway. Shows .7 Ohm on my istick. I guess the wick is OK, vaping at 27 watts and not a single dry hit.

I wrapped it on a 2.0 mm rod, hoping a little larger diameter would let me use some more cotton compared to the stock coil. Seems to be working out great so far.

I wouldn't have had any idea where to start without this forum so thanks for the help!

Awesome!!! Sounds like you're doin great!!

LaCaféUrn...?

hehehe I like it but I see now we're maybe at sumpthin else, already forgot.

hehehe mike......on the showdown at sundown

Well, your not totally alone. I've been waiting for a shipping notice to change from "pre-delivery notice" to "received by PO" for 3 days now. If it doesn't change today I'll contact the vendor.

Well tracking says an express parcel got to that post facility 6 miles down the road from me at 23:00.
See if it gets delivered tomorrow.

Not in a hurry for it just figure even if they were using horse you could travel the distance in the time.

Previous one failed to make the distance the next day.

2legs what build do you have if any in your subtank mini rba section ?

I did 2mm cause figure its a small area , went meh , now have a 2.5mm and it seems better.
Though with the same juice its no where near the goblin.
Also on the RBA section where do you have your coil ,,,, you got the air hole then the two metal bits with the screws , do you put the top of the coil in line with the top of the screws or have it higher so the bottom of the coil is in line with the top of the screws , or do you not think about it ?

Many times Im getting very little vapor and yet no dry hits, could be its small juice holes but would expect dryish hit but its fine just not much vapor at times.

There are a few threads devoted to the stm rba and builds on them:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coil-builds/643044-subtank-rba-builds-show-em.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/644323-kangertech-subtank-mini.html

Most builds are with the bottom of the coil even with the hold down screws. Wicking is very important on this deck and most have found a "slight" over wick to work best.

Personally I've been running a 28AWG twisted, 0.8Ω, 2.25mm 7.5 wraps

Hi Darryl
Mines twitchy if the wick blocks the holes. Any wick near holes gets dry , if wicks flick out from where I've pasted them to the deck and block the holes it gets dry.

Lots of info on wicking in those two threads...

I use a toothpick and move wicks away from juice holes.
