Maybe it's off to see the wizard. I too am a Tapatalk user. You can add meme and GIFs using Tapatalk. I use Photobucket to store them and just link to them by pasting a link to it in my post. You can also paste in a small meme into the post directly from your phone and Tapatalk will upload it to their storage site and link to that but, it's size limited and I am not sure if you need to be a premium subscriber. Here is a try on my part to link to a gif I stole from either Iffy or Debadoo
e177b3c702fc455805b31d4dcfe5aa33.jpg

I don't think that worked because it converted the gif to a jpg and that takes all the movement out of it. I'll do a little research and see if I can figure out how we can do it without going through a bunch of steps.

Summertime, summertime, sum, sum, summertime. I can't wait for summertime!

That would be wonderful Matt. I have tried saving some of the cute giffs but they do all convert to jpgs with no movememt. They loose all the charm.
Click on this...
That will take you to my photobucket account
Click the link to copy
Select which album you want it in and click to copy it
It will then be in your photobucket to use...
Or just use it from mine... I don't mind

I'm getting the sizzle after letting go of the button and the light flavor as well.
I have two PVs that do this. They do it because you can get more vapor if you continue to suck in after the button is released.

So I think what I'm saying is, the magic is in the juice. Find that and you're golden. All the tanks, mods, DIY paraphernalia don't matter. If you wanna have fun, DIY. If you just want to enjoy vaping... don't have to. Just sit back, relax and realize... it may not get better than what you have right now.

Find da 'golden joose', quit da 'bakky and then have a ball making dat joose soar!

And yepper, I do believe in finding your 'happy place' and being unchallenged dere. BUT... I'm ever so glad dat I ventured outta my 8 watt limit, in most part thanx to better toppers.

I have a Lemo Drop coming in the mail. You consider it easier to wick?

Yes.
Wick ends touching the deck and away from the juice channels/sides of the chamber.
This has been great for me.
After filling the tank when the tank is full there can be some nursing required until the liquid drops a bit.

Lemo can get harsh if wicks blocking the channels or after you fill the tank until the liquid level drops a bit can require some vaping and priming and waiting as you go.

Don't get the no taste no vapor yet wick still wet confusion I'm getting with the subtank.

Perhaps different wick thickness to try in it.

OK. I bought this kick for LittleJane. https://www.fasttech.com/p/1670801 I am usually happy with LaVamitresse at 10w. The kick is (supposedly) 15w. I turned it about 1/4 of the way down. The leg of the x which points to the five oçlock position at 15w is now at the two oçlock position. Is that about 10w? Since I am using LittleJane with a 18350 battery, if I had it turned all the way up to fifteen, I would be using the battery down faster. Even though the 18350 charges so fast, 15w is unnecessary. Ten should be my happy point, and where I have it set is ok, but should I go any lower?

I THINK I made myself understood----

I can't figure out what you guys could be doing with the Kangers. Mine are good tank after tank. I don't put a lot of wick in there, I don't wet it I pull the tails up and put the first section of the chiminey on then fold the wick over and cut it about 1/2" beyond the top then poke it down with the tip going in first. I don't pack it in then I wet it fire it wet it again put the remaining piece on put it together and away I go. I have never had a problem. I use 50/50 juice. Knock on wood

The Tugboat works fantastic. I was lucky enough to get one with a gold plated center pin instead of copper. I shot for a 26awg 2.5mm microcoil hit 1.21 running it in single coil mode. It puts out a ton of vapor and really easy to build. Definately take one of the Orings off makes all the difference. I am very happy with the device not paricularly with the vendor. Oh I'm only running it on 15w.

Can't speak to the Tug, but I've put coils in both my 25mm ST and ST mini. Both are open coils, AWG30 (I find heavier gauge takes too long to heat and cool - and sizzles after releasing the fire button) 1.7 ohm, rayon wick. Not being a high watt vaper, I have the air intake closed way down. Both vape fine for me, although I do still think I prefer my KFs :)

Wick is very similar to what you use, Legs, although maybe closer to 3/8 than 1/2, then tucked gently down.

This current one I did put the chimney on but I cut the wicks flush with the top thinking that theres not much deck space. If it goes bad I'll cut them ,, half inch is it ?

Tugboat is that your first dripper ?

I think cut flush will be too short, and that may be part of your problems Wolf.

I think so, too :)

Hard to say exactly what level you're at on the watts, but if you're happy, the number really doesn't matter.

Hi Dave! Welcome to the Porches! We have 2 threads. This one we try, (without much sucess at times), to stick to vaping related topics. We also have the Back Porch where just about anything goes. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/657516-older-folks-vaping-back-porch-part-three.html Grab a rocker, chair, hammock, bean bag, recliner & make yourself at home with the beverage of your choice & tell us about yourself!

We have several ST lovers here. And Reo lovers. And KF lovers. I'm using KFL+ v2's with dual airflow, & both sizes Of the Nautilus tanks on a Siegeli 30w, a Rig Mod clone, a Hana Modz 30 (when I get it fixed cause I killed it.), and MVP 2's at times. Depends on where I'm going, what I'll be doing as to what I'm using. I think I need more KF's, tho. :D

I am currently using an IStick 50 with a kanger STmini on top. Using the rba deck wicked super heavy with no troubles at 18W. Having said that let me add that I've been vaping for 22 months so I have alot of stuff I'm fond of... Just right now the Kanger/Istick combo is working real well.

I got an iStick Eleaf from VCC2015 this year, and it works fantastically with kanger tanks! Good combo you have there. Definitely a workable choice!

Not often. I don't voop and am an evening pooper. These days a good poop makes for a good day though. Which apparently can go with quitting cigs, but in theory I should be back to world champion pooper status by now :(

Way late but welcome to the porch Doffy! Sure hope Myrany didn't give you the rocket with one of Iffy's whoopee cushions on it. :)

Hi all, been reading a bunch here, but first time posting. I can answer your question. Yes the Cyclone will fit a standard Grand with the regular cap. It won't fit if you are running an AFC cap.

Welcome to the porch pwheeler! Sorry I'm late with the welcome but I've been caught up lately elsewhere. Guess you've found there's a few Reo lovers here. :)

Good morning Good Folks,

Well, I think I've reached my next plateau. Been mostly using modified Protank 2's on mech mod clones for almost two years now, waiting... patiently waiting.

I skipped the dual-coil Kangers, but after much positive talk stuck my toe in the water when Aspire brought out their BVC coils. I already had 3 different sized Aspire tanks, so I bought a Nautilus, BVC coils and "regular" Aspire BVC coils... didn't much care for them -- so back to PT2's. Then (finally, after all the talk) tried a KFL+ when they came out w/ two air holes, another mistake and unnecessary expenditure of time and money -- so back to PT2's.

And now come the Kanger SubTanks.

Folks, IMO, Kanger has knocked one slam out of the park with these. I don't care for the 25mm "full-size" one, but the other two?...

Soon enough, I'll be investing in a Nano, another Mini, more OCC coil heads; and a spare AFC base, RBA deck, and possibly spare o-rings for the Mini.

This Mini is the most hassle-free, practically effortless, and totally satisfying ADV I've tried to date.

And for the last 3 (or 4?) weeks, I've only used the Mini on the iStick 30, but forgot to plug it in last night. So this morning while it's recharging, I put the Mini/RBA deck/0.6Ω on a mech mod for the first time... and WOW... talk about a smooth, satisfying vape... and not to mention HUGE, dense clouds. The vape experience is just different on a mech -- smoother is the best way I can describe it. I think that's probably because of the straight DC connection, with no buck-boost chip in the way -- digitizing and modifying the signal.... just smooth analog DC. Oh I'll be getting another iStick, I like it that much... but not before I stock up on Subtanks and parts!

[/end gush]
