safety check - You know thats a hybrid mech mod Metal storm.

Yep I know to check for the pin length. All my drippers are long enough but my Subtanks aren't and that's one reason the mech purchase got moved down the list. Thanks for lookin' out for me, Starky. :thumb:

Thanks for the info. I'd like more wattage available. Something I can use with a low resistance dripper if I want. My Atlantis 2 is hardly working up a sweat on my 50 watt istick. Needs a little more to put out the fog.

Weight isn't a concern for this one. 30 watt iSicks go out with me. This will be for chain vaping at home.

Sounds like you've got a good one though.
Theres the ipv4 100w out , though i haven't looked into any reviews.
sx mini m 60w gets good reviews

If you let out the 510 screw on an atty , see if it stays out or if you can push it back in.
I had one and the screw came out a bit and thought well looks ok but it push back in again.

Speaking of mom, I don't think she's vaping much these days but she gave it a good try. A few weeks ago, she said these little ants come in her kitchen in the spring and hang around until it really heats up in the summer. I took some almost empty juice bottles over there and set some out on the counters with the tops off. Put another one next to the wastebasket under the sink and it has kept them away. She doesn't like to spray for them because it's in the kitchen so she's real tickled how well it's worked.

We use something called Terro ant killer. We get hundreds, thousands of those little ants coming into the house every summer. They drink the stuff, take it back "home," and it kills them all. You have to redo it when the eggs hatch but then they are gone. If they stay out in the yard, we leave them alone. One of the few things we kill.

We prefer buying the little bottle of it. You put drops of the stuff around on little tabs from the box and the ants love it. They will disappear in about two days.

ter-us-faq-baits

There are also these self contained "feeders."

But the ants do have to take it back to the nest to kill all of them.

Been looking at that since I started researching the SMPL. Haven't noticed any of mine slide in further yet. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Just changed my location to 'earth'... wound up near Spaceship Earth, EPCOT...
toothy.gif
And when I click your location, it shows places and businesses in NC that have "earth" in the name.

Since my location includes the abbreviation for "miles", plus the city name "Raleigh" and the state abbreviation "NC", the map shows Miles Drive in Raleigh. Wrong, but pretty clever for a dumb machine.

Vapemail: silicone sleeves for my iSticks. They're great! Contoured so that the iStick buttons are protected, but even more comfortable to use, while the cutouts for the USB charging port and the data window are perfectly placed. Strangely, the print you see in the picture is not blurred in reality, and the print is actually silver in color, not black. The blue color of the sleeves, though, is pretty true to reality.

I'm going to have to get another liter of nicotine before June 30. In ND we dodged the extra taxation, and being classified as a tobacco product, but, the bill that passed to protect minors says that to order on the internet, for EACH order of vaping gear or liquid, I have to send the seller a copy of my ID, AND the seller has to have me acknowledge receipt of a statement about how evil nicotine is, AND verify my age in a recognized database (which could be fun since at least the one Madvapes uses can't find me,) AND it has to be delivered with an age verified signature.

That last one is going to be lots of fun, since our post office is only open for two hours in the morning and the county housekeeper usually picks my mail up for me once or twice a week. So as near as I can tell I'll have to get up a couple of hours early and go over to the PO myself for any vaping delivery. This really makes no sense here, since most of the small towns don't have street delivery and the POs have very limited hours. People who commute to work in a larger town, a large chunk of the population, are going to be SOL if they can't get packages at work. This is closer to persecution than caution. (And yes, I did write my legislators and the paper, but I've no idea whether anyone else did.)

I figure I'll be okay for PG and VG, since I've been ordering essential depot on Amazon, and they don't know what I'm going to use it for. And flavors I'm not sure about. But nicotine and equipment are going to be a pain.

lucky you! the denny's here is horrible. In fact, I don't even think they're still in business, but not certain

But Denny's is the only place in this part of the country to get anything resembling chicken fried steak.:(

My location comes up within a couple of blocks of my house. Of course everything in Sharon is within a couple of blocks of my house.

Your legislators are competing for the Craziest Legislation award, I see. What a bunch of malarkey!

Google maps is not drawing on any information that does not appear in the words you entered on ECF for your location. If you put a city and state, the map will be centered on whatever the Google Maps database has already determined to be the center of the city. In some cases that would be the town hall, in others, maybe the traffic light if there is one, or the place where the two most significant roads intersect. The information used to make that determination might be wrong, but the same map will show for anyone who has "Sharon ND" listed as their location, even if they live 4 blocks away at the other end of town. :thumb:

It appears that Google Maps has determined Sharon Electric Motor Repair to be the center of the map for Sharon. I'm guessing that might be because it's a place in Sharon that also has Sharon in its name.

Whenever I go into my local shop, there is always this nice smell in the air, like something really good is being vaped. Never thought to ask anyone there what it is but now I think I know...

Crystal_zpsw0t8yccj.jpg~original

As soon as I opened the bottles and took a whiff, there it was! Somebody that works there vapes this or something much like it. And holy crap, it tastes as good as it smells!

Vaping the regular RY4 first and it's got a strong tobacco taste right from the start. This is not a caramel & vanilla vape labeled an RY4. I hope the Double Tobac isn't too much. Maybe it will be even better...

As you can see in the tank, it is clear as glass so maybe it won't be a gunker. Plenty of flavor but it's a laid back vape as opposed to the tobaccos from Nite Lite, which are a more intense kind of flavor. Did I mention this is really good? :vapor:
I'm playing catch up on the Front Porch now, & trying not to comment so I don't throw the current stuff off topic, but I want to say how glad I am you're finding more things you like, Metal Storm! That juice hunting stuff sucks!

Happy Mother's Day to all! Have a wonderful day!
Chili!!!! Good to see you sweetie!! Come visit our back porch too, we can talk about anything there, but have to keep this one mostly vape related as much as we can. and happy mama's day to you too!! Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Three | Page 307 | E-Cigarette Forum

Maybe it just takes the clicker to the nearest mountains.
I tried, I got a drop down list of several mountains most in India, one in UK, but it showed me Texas on the map, so probably so.

Thinking is a type of work.
I like the way you work! hehehe

Wow, this stinks. Texas is trying to do the age verification thing too. We have to pay extra on top of shipping show our DL at the door when postman delivers, so as you said, must be home or try to get to PO, which is incredibly difficult for me. At least they aren't trying to tax it to death far as I know, but then again, Texas didn't take any tobacco money either

That stinks big time. What pain for everyone - the buyer and the seller. Is it just for nicotine or PV's and toppers too?

Your legislators are competing for the Craziest Legislation award, I see. What a bunch of malarkey!

Well, the good news is that they did soundly defeat a tobacco tax increase that would have also defined e-cigarettes as a tobacco product. And on this one i knew they were going to do some kind of age verification, but not all kinds.

Wow, this stinks. Texas is trying to do the age verification thing too. One of the maddening things is that the signature delivery is basically a $6 an order tax that the state doesn't even get the benefit from.

North Dakota did take the tobacco settlement money but it is required to all be spent on prevention programs. You've never seen so many annoying ANTZ ads.

That stinks big time. What pain for everyone - the buyer and the seller. Is it just for nicotine or PV's and toppers too?

It reads to me like it is for everything. As I said, PG and VG should be fine, but coils, nicotine, any pre-made liquid, PVs and toppers would all be included.

think it was metal who said they put nearly empty juice bottles in the kitchen, to keep the ants away. Reckin ants don't like vaping any more than the ANTZ do!!! View attachment 456243

I am actually curious as to what makes ants react like that - is it the microbial properties of the PG or is it the nicotine or is it the scent from the flavorings??? I would almost think that they would be attracted to it instead due to its sweetness.

Amoret, what a PITA! Hard for me to get to the PO on a regular basis also, when it's open, and can really sympathize. They tried to pull that one in Calif. last year. I'm sure they will get the tax in there next year. On the flip side, it will be very interesting to see how the black market comes along in those states passing these medieval laws.

UK's highest mounting is barely higher than our house is. They listed India?

gonna have to check out that terro stuff

Just make sure it is for your kind of ants. We have some red and black ones that couldn't care less about Terro.

Cool ant picture I ran across looking for the terro
