...

jup we've been talking about it in the reo lounge. she was fit to be tied the night it was signed. Just happened I was in the google hangout when she popped in ready to rip someone's head off. glad it wasn't mine! lol But glad I was there for her to vent to. Jup, I told her it was time for her to move to Texas!! lol

well I think it specifies ejuice. Haven't read the bill though, so not sure.

She's in the legislative forum a lot and not uninformed or stupid. I don't go in there any more signed in for fear of abruptly going off on all the inane proposed bills. I bet Indiana is going to hear a lot from her and already has.
My husband's eyes kinda rolled up into his head when I was trying to explain that part to him. Apparently makes no sense to the uninitiated either.
well let her know that if she goes legal, she can expect at least one contribution from me. It's i protank to stick together in any way we can.

maybe not, dunno

jup, she's a smart lady. and I'm sure they have heard plenty from her. But also from a lot of hoosiers. They've been turning out in big numbers at hearings etc. Just no one cares. It's all about the $$ as we know. they used to be concerned about whether folks would vote for them next time or not.......now all they care about is getting the big bucks the next campaign

Perhaps someone should let them know how much money juice makers can throw at their opponents. I'm sure there are plenty willing to make an example of them.

The more I think about it, the less well I think it's going to come out for Indiana. It's going to be enforced, supposedly, in six weeks. Let the games begin.

Ken, Deb apparently knows her much better than I do. Let her know Deb!

that's sweet ken, I'll let her know. I can't remember if she talked about that or not, but I do think it's a waiting game to see how things end up like you said tutu. Kinda gotta wait for em to do sumpthin that you can take issue with, or they'll duck it

I'm glad you're really liking them. Mine didn't work out so well for me and would have been thrilled to send it to you but was up in Portland at the time. You're too fast on that trigger!
what didn't you like about them? Iffy is thinking of trying it

TUTU, how are things working legally in Cali? I have a very good reason to ask.

That is complicated and depends on where you live, I believe. California has a horrid, packed-full-of-lies ad campaign going on that they've spent millions on. I believe it is illegal to vape in apartments and condos in some areas. As far as I know, they haven't done well with legislation this year, as far as getting anything to move along (yay!). Last year they were at the head of the loony pending bills. I need to go look after El Whacko's walk because the CTA's are no longer posted up top but I haven't CA on the front page in the legislation forum for a while. You can google still blowing (breaking it up here) smoke and see what their campaign is about. Hopefully someone will sue their pants off for the lies. Sorry that is not a better answer.

Might we be seeing you out here? :)

Iffy uses them and loves them! Tried to give it to him. I'm a dedicated tootle puffer with my single pt coils and it did nothing but flood. Tried the other coils but just wasn't worth it to me. Who thought you could be old fashioned about vaping?

from what I understand, it'll be illegal to make your own juice even (not that that will stop folks), but my understanding from a lady who lives there is that to make juice, you'll have to get a permit from the state, 1,000.00 for 5 years and have a clean room type place to make it that gets inspected.

Indiana is the laughing stock right now but it's not funny. Somewhere in that bill it says permit holders can go after--sue I think--non permit holders for making juice. I am very grateful I do not live in Indiana and feel horrible for those that do.
The Indiana legislation CLEARLY states that the rules apply only to distributors of e-liquid. That means sellers. It does not mean people mixing at home for their own consumption. The law does not permit distributors to file complaints against people who mix their own e-liquid at home.

It is not my intent to imply that the new Indiana law is sensible. Yes, I read it. I just want to help people understand what the law does say and what it does not say.

The vast majority of posts in the threads about the Indiana legislation contain incorrect information from people who either did not read or do not understand the legislation. (I hope that doesn't sound ugly, I don't mean it to.) One would do well to read only the posts from "Hoosier" and ignore all the others. ECF member Hoosier is (or was) an e-juice distributor who makes (or made) e-juice in Indiana.

You need to give your mouse pad a break anyways - you have been all over this forum tonight (LOL)... I saw some of them... :pervy:
which means you've also been all over the forum!! Jup, I flit about all over the place!!

hmmm ok I'd heard from several that folks couldn't produce their own, but I admitted I hadn't read it. I didn't think folks would be able to sue someone who diy'd, but sounds good that if they can get the nic, folks will legally be able to still DIY. I've tried reading the Tx ones and get bogged down in legal speak, so didn't even try reading the Indiana one.

No, I was saying I hoped they'd make a silicone sleeve for the ProVari. At the rate they're churning them out, it shouldn't be long. Maybe...

And one sent back. :)

Glad to hear that! Where are Hoosier's comments? I've only seen the threads here (general vaping) and in the legislative section. None of the really knowledgeable people have commented in those that I've seen, which seemed odd. Guess I just missed the better threads? Usually someone comes along and cross posts more informative posts but haven't seen that either.

I did try to read the bill but my eyes crossed and couldn't get them back uncrossed. BUT, people have posted chunks of the legislation and they are somewhat baffling. My father is very experienced with reading, and writing for that matter, legislation and I was thinking of sending him the final draft and seeing what he thought. Not sure he'd be interested and he's not familiar with their state constitution but it would be interesting to get his take on it.

no below I quoted what you'd said that I was asking about. I thought it was the silicone sleeve that didn't work out for you, but I reckin it was the istick that you didn't like??

Yes, it didn't work very well, actually at all, with the toppers I use. Turned out to be a bigger pain than I was willing to put up with.

Believe it or not, at 91 my father still goes to "work" once or twice a week. Not sure he'd be willing to take on more work just because his daughter is curious but I'll ask. Grateful he almost always does the commute with someone else doing the driving. 40-50 miles one way.

Wow, that's amazing Tutu!! Didn't think about how old he'd be. lol Yeah probably best to not bother him with it. if he were still alive, my dad would be 100 come Sept 12th

Law is his thing so he might just be interested. I need to come up with some intelligent questions though, so if anyone has some, I'd love to hear them. It also means I have to try to read the bloody thing without my eyes becoming permanently crossed.

I think it's his love of law, but mostly his love for his wife, my mother, that has enabled him to live so long.
