Haven't been to this forum before. Haven't been to ecf in a long time, but it was here that I began. Lots has happened since I last posted, but I am still vaping....2 years and 5 months now. After 45 years on analogs, I am quite amazed that I got through a lot of high stress and didn't reach for a pack....as I always have done in the past. I have seen a lot of familiar names, and a whole lot of new ones....this is a great forum, and glad to be a part of it.

Hi Wanda and welcome to the bestest porch around! :)

Isn't vaping amazing? A little over two years off the cigarettes, 43 years smoking, and I still can't believe it. During a high stress time recently I had a dream I was doing lung hits off my vape. I'm not a lung hitter. That was a new one for me. Pull up a rocker, here and the back porch, and enjoy the view and the fun. Be careful of any chairs with Iffy's acoustic (whoopee) cushions in them. Other than that, he's a nice, generous, harmless guy. (Please don't tell him I said that last part. ;))

Just popping through for a moment before I go back to bed and I am so glad I did - I was really getting worried if some state had included in a bill statements about DIYing - just did not make sense, but I knew that if one did - others would follow. Now I can rest better...

There are consequences to what the law actually says depending on what order the governor signs them....it's THAT screwy!

From everything I have read, that's my take too. DIY for personal use is not forbidden. Getting your nic may be, but I know there are people here not afraid to send a nicely wrapped present. ;l

Where are Hoosier's comments? I've only seen the threads here (general vaping) and in the legislative section. None of the really knowledgeable people have commented in those that I've seen, which seemed odd. Guess I just missed the better threads? Usually someone comes along and cross posts more informative posts but haven't seen that either.
I'm still looking for the Hoosier posts that I saw earlier today. The one that I quoted above is not one of the more explanatory ones, but I'll quote a better one when I find it. Right now my look-and-finder is pooped!

Clnire, your comment does as good a job of describing the mess as any other comment that I've read.

Flamingo, I also was surprised at the seeming scarcity of comments from the really knowledgeable people, but the implications of the new Indiana laws are so incredibly complicated and confusing that they defy clarity. Plus, the subject is being discussed in SO MANY different threads all over the place in the ECF Forum.

Now that Indiana has "fallen," I wonder if it will spur more states to follow suit or if they will sit back and see how it goes there. And then there's always the FDA to worry about. :( Man I hope you're back in bed and not reading this right now. Sweet dreams.

Why would you need a permit to make your own juice if its for you and your not going to sell it ?

Could say any permit or such a business needs to make and sell a product , people would need to get for making the same products in their home.

Thank you for trying to find them. I hate it when I've read something here somewhere and can't find it again. Ever. The lack of knowledgeable comments in just weird, especially in the legislative section--unless I'm reading the wrong threads there.

Oh for sure , greed makes people ignorant to logic.

I wrote a long answer then thought better of it. But yes, greed is the basis of it and once again the poor are hung out to dry. And that just for the heinous crime of trying to quit smoking.

G'night guys, eyes are sagging here.

Why come you didn't copy and paste it instead of giving a road map for how to get to a place where I could copy and paste it?

cuz I've been told it's against ecf rules to put up links to social media sites

When you click the "media" icon during composition of an ECF post, you'll see this:

"You may embed media from the following sites:"
In the long alphabetical list is "Facebook".

Anyway, @Hoosier grasps the complexities of the new Indiana anti-vaper laws well enough to understand that it is not possible at this juncture for anyone to grasp the complexities of the new Indiana anti-vaper laws.

Here's a link for anyone who wants to read the full language of Indiana House Bill 1432, signed into law last week by Indiana Governor Pence.
